Hey!
This is what I have for ideas after playing about 30 games, online + single.
1. Playing the Oak often and recently Sedna, I have difficulty clicking on my allies in a battlefield to simply help them (with shield or heal). I would like to see they HP/Mana like at the left side of the screen so I know right away (don't need to analyse a lot of health bars or move my mouse over them to see their hp...) what is their current hp and if they need help/heal. Showing any debuff on them would be helpfull too. Clicking on their icon would select them (and possibly I can select me too).
2. Being able to ping the map to say: "Go here!!". (Can we do that?)
3. To always show my current mana and hp on my health/mana bars.. Wow I hate that I need to move over them to show the numbers (any available options for that I haven't used?). If I know my skill cost 450 mana, I also want to know if I'm soon able to cast it, not guest it or lose time and focus on battle to see that.
4. I don't like that I cannot see my friends (ennemies too) mana. This would help me know if they could perhaps heal me or do more damage on an upcoming fight.
5. Now this one is very annoying -> It is so much boring dying damn. Why can't we see our skill tree, character screen, item shop and our castle upgrade??? I'm staring at my game doing nothing useful for ~30sec.
6. I'm not sure who tought about that, but why would I want the camera do a ~180 degree turn whenever I die? In what is this useful? It is only annoying, that's about it (any option for that?).
7. Their is a Desync pop-up that sometimes appear in the middle of the screen, big enough to be very annoying. The problem is that I can still play and everything is ok. Would be nice to remove this because if I can still play, I don't want it to re-appear after 5 sec I cliked OK button.

"P" is a minimap ping, but I agree that the UI needs work. I'm looking forward to see what they come up with.
a big +1 on numbers 1,3, and 5. Especially 1 and 5.
Really, if they just enabled UI mods online, that would solve all our issues.

Because then they'd be able to see my mana too. I just about always play Sedna. If the enemy knew I couldn't heal myself because I had low mana I would have died many more times in many matches. If you could multitask while dying it would kinda take away the punishment of dying, the point is to discourage it as much as possible by making it as mean as possible. I agree with many of your other points though.

I think dev once said (not sure..) that they don't want to include too much icon, map info, or whatever on the screen. To keep it minimal. But I this kind of game needs a lot of feedback. I need to know fast that I have 678 hp left, that the Demigod I attack does me about 178 dmg each hit and I do 215 on him. I have 435 mana left and I will be soon able to do a spell to help me, etc. Fast and easy. I don't like guessing what happen on my screen, particularly with a game like that.
For UhelligGudn... well if you think so its ok, but personnally I haven't paid a game 50$ to be punished by it. But I payed a game 50$ to have fun playing it. No...?

not sure if it's what you want but pressing the button left of the top row '1' key ('`' on a UK keyboard '~' on US) cycles though health bar options so you can have them stay up all the time.
showing mana was dismissed during beta as it gives too much away. this way you can trick/bluff how much you have.

But when the game was desynced I was still able to chat with my 2 partners and it was near the end of the game. We were wondering what was happening.
Does that mean that the win in that Pantheon game was not valid because of the desync?

Showing the Health bars is a good start, however, I like to see ALL health bars from all creatures (demigod ennemy + small mobs) so I know very fast if a AOE will kill them all or if I can one shot them all, etc.
However, it may be difficult to see right away in a fight if my friend need help and they may be not in my screen view. Having always a view on their health bars (lets say on the left side of the screen) I know right away if they need help or a heal, even if I don't see them on my screen.
OK to: mana. Didn't know it was a decision in the Beta.

Sorry, I haven't seen that you added text to the quote. Well, for the camera move, I don't see the need of that. It brings absolutly nothing but to move away your camera of how you set it for your fight... So I don't see why the game should have a useless option like that (well... I think it is pretty much useless and show off only)
For the mana, I understand the decision. Being able to see it or not can be both a good strategic option. I suppose a lot of tought have been done on that.
I understand the decision while your dead... but it is simply boring Counter-Strike for example I am able to follow my teamate and look at their strategy or my ennemy strategy. In Demigod I need to look for 15~30sec at a gray screen doing nothing... It is not the end of the world, but still something that could be more entertaining (at least looking at your skill.. dunno).

Yep your right. This is what I use. However I tought they could add better display for our demigod allies, because it can really makes the difference.
Yes, it would be nice to have a team UI on the side of the screen. if they stacked your own mana bar under your health, there would be room for an icon for each of your teammates, hopefully with a name and health bar under it. But yes, in a crowded battle it easy with this edge detection to not even be able to click on a teammate without several camera angle adjustments, and that's just not fun or how I want to spend my valuable time in combat trying to click a teammate when they need clicking.
