If you find someone in game behaving utterly horrible, feel free to take a screenshot and post it here.
i'm not the one who you asked but i want to answer with my opinion.
i'm against it because you do not have much of controle if it is right. sure you can post a screenshot but it is only one case. sure you can link to their games list but maybe he changed.
the problem is even if your observation is right it is so descriminating to pin them for ever on a list that it is not right. if you have made bad experience avoid them. if they continue others will follow. but making it so public by posting it on a forums list gos to far. it may destroy the game totally for them even if the situation has changed or was only a misttake.
a onetime fellt judgement in such a public cummunity can often be mcuh to hard.
seeing as the exploits are part of the game u can't do anything about it till it gets fixed which will proberly be a while
kk, hotfix out now and host quit exploit has been fixed. There's no reason now to shame the people who have very good stats and mostly ppl think it's due to always host quit exploit when losing the game.
auro we will see but if the host quit has been fixed then the stats should be reset so that it isn't worthless
ok i got one:
Comivoyajor
after our Erebus fed the enemy and left we all tried to concede. Comi on the other hand refused to even acknowledge us and spend the rest of the game camping by the crystal dropping mines into the lane (u can actualy see him in the screen shot below behind the scores). because of this the game took another 25 minutes to finish. on top of all this his connection kept spiking to 2000 every few minutes making it not only a painfull to watch but also painful to play.
Comivoyajor, if u reading this... screw u man. that wat very poor sportsmanship.
I didnt read the whole thread, so this person might already be in here, but DO NOT play with drvali. After suicide dying twice (both of which he blamed on teammates) he proceeded to announce that he was going to afk the rest of the game as a result. He wouldnt even concede when the rest of us on his team did.
He's a bad player who will intentionally ruin games. Boot him automatically if you ever see him.
I should be in here. Real life came to my door and I had to leave a game. Sorry teammate
Player name: 1943Trash talked ally team even though we were outperforming him by a mile, ordering everyone around saying "I always play rook, I am pro with him". 27 games played. Yes real pro m8.He then raged for no apparent reason, and in doing so got everyone a loss recorded on stats, even though we won. ****ing noob.
These people aren't crying. They simply do what this thread wants them to do : "If you find someone in game behaving utterly horrible, feel free to take a screenshot and post it here". That is the purpose of "The hall of shame".
The more people will be torturing you - the faster you will be rescued by the police.
You sir should be conducted to the Hall of Shame for suggesting that people should be exploiting more if they want the fixes come faster.
Just played a 4v4 custom with a dude named 'landzin' on my team. He died once or twice in really stupid ways towards the beginning, and then when his teammates told him to play smarter / run away more, he started dying on purpose out of spite. Dude also dropped his items in front of the enemy base to help them out even more. Kick on sight.
nice...
...Albeit he was winning, so..I'd hardly call him a "pro" Rook though. Just an annoying one with his towers all about the place.
He played in gameranger before. A good player but one of "fuck u im a pro and have a bigger penis" morons..
AHAHA that was against me wasnt it
Beware of Ironspawn. I'm fairly positive this guy purposely feeds the other team, but I have no idea why. He literally runs straight at them at level 1, straight into their towers right where they can easily pick him off. He doesn't respond to any communication, so its pointless to try and talk sense into him.
Avoid games of Oncewasblind and his mate . Leaving after 3 min and forcing Desync .. unbelievable pro
And another one is Morpheas, he just kicks players if there is a slightly chance he can lose...
Heh Oncewasblind is a funny guy. He joins my room... ask if we are good we say yea... he ask for a 2v1 i respectfully decline. We get a 3v3 alittle while later. He gets a couple early deahts and rage quits. No Desync however, i just found it funny. Though seeing as he didnt desync our game i am not sure if when he did it too you if it was intentional.
funny i played a game with the topic creater a few days ago and he rage quit. we were losing and he gets trapped with low life goes mist and immediatly d/cs.
wasnt going to do anything about it so i have dont screen shot but wouldnt you know i stumble into this thread and look who i see as the TC? the little %^** that RQ hah! i had to say something.
So your saying that Frogboy, the man that owns Stardock, RQ on you and that he is a little %^&* for doing so? If by "topic creator" you do mean the OP?
An unlikely event.
In any case, thats thin ice your treading on there.......
I got one too
juankirikoke
We have played a 1v1 Conquest game on The Brothers today. He chose to play a tower & slam Rook against Erebus and, quite predictably, got badly owned. After 20 minutes he asked for a rematch and quit. At this point I got an 'AI has taken over for juankirikoke' message, followed by the victory screen. The game does not appear in the stats though apparently no desync occured. Here's a screenshot:
Looking at his stats and the number of times that '1' appears as the number of players in the games he hosted, I conclude that he uses the host bug exploit very often (though it doesn't always work). Note also that he does not appear to have a single loss before Aug 7, 2009, which is when the second patch was released.
And zxzxza, I don't think that Frogboy would deliberately force a desync. In fact, I think we're lucky that he plays this game and finds it fun because it means that he hasn't given up on it yet, despite the community and disappointing sales.
i was assuming it was a joke. you know, humor....
I proudly gave him his first lost He was quite terrible. He made starting gold high so he could buy a Hungarlings Crown for Regulus..
Most amusing incident for me, I joined a random game and decided to play as Lord Erebus. My team mates were Regulus and a Rook. I quickly managed to get a kill (i.e. Within the first 10 minutes ) and hold off a lane by myself while the Regulus and Rook swapped lanes. After a while the convo between us got going quite well and we started to predict each others moves after realising what builds we had each focused on.
It got to the point that whenever one of us was in trouble we would all teleport over and beat up the attacking demigod or force them to retreat. We came into the middle (cataract) and were attacked by all 3 demigods. With several mines, a boulder roll, hammer slam and several bites we defeated 2 of them.
I think it was either at the point where we started using the Rooks towers to teleport around or maybe slightly later that sum1 started to cry PREMADE!
Every time we knocked down a tower or defeated sum1 this Premade cry would arise. I continously denied it but it took about 10 minutes for the guy to finally realise I was telling the truth.
Basically Just because a team works well together as a team doesnt mean they are premade. It just means they work well as a team.
Personally I have never had any problems with premades (but my 35% loss rate would disagree )
...
That said I really should have left when I heard Morpheas768 and Ivorgor chatting as friends ^^
Oh and also.
That thing about LOTR was classic
Never heard of it. Iv'e heard of sarcasm....
As for the post, it may be a j/k, IDK, i didnt at first see it that way...but after reading it again you may be right.
