DEMIGOD TOURNAMENT
Format: Bracket style tournament, SINGLE elimination.
When: Starts May 21
Prize: Absolutely nothing except the joy of playing matches against skilled people.
2v2 Or 3v3
Submit your team in this format if you are interested:

* denotes contact person for your team
Accepting 2v2 or 3v3 submissions. Any player can be on multiple teams, but only 1 team for each format.
RULES
Matchups are 1 game.
Single Elimination: you lose you go home.
Conquest & Default settings
Matches will be scheduled for 3 days. (For example, if bracket/matchups go up wednesday night, you have, thurs, fri and sat. Results must be in by the end of saturday night) If all matches for the round are completed, next round will be scheduled ahead of time.
Each round will be played on a map.
Map rotation for 2v2 is: Cataract / Prison
Map rotation for 3v3 is: Cataract / Leviathan / Exile
"Home" team will ready up first.
Team contacts will schedule their match with each other. Prefered playing time is EST 6:30pm-1am. But match time up to team contacts.
Screenshot of results screen will serve as proof of win if there are any disputes.
Your team has the right for 1 restart of the match on disconnect or crash, as long as: a- you have proof of crash/disconnect (screenshot) b- you were not losing the game. (if you are winning and the other team drops take a screenshot and you can argue that you were already winning)
I will be final word on any disputes. But there shouldn't really be any.

We may not be able to play hurra torpedo due to Warskull being banned.

I am willing to play on Game Ranger to accomodate Warskull
but that's assuming they beat Guild Clan
I talked to Frogster last night and he seemd to have changed his stance somewhat based on the information I provided - but I don't know how or when this will conclude. No news from Warskull yet.
I want to assume the best and keep scheduling with "The Guild" and do our best to show up with the original team.

Neither one of us, myself or Dosar, received a pm. Either you're lieing or it really didn't send. I can speculate as to which one it really was.
Hey I didn't recieve any PMs from you and I'm the (*) contact person for the 2v2 so I'm guessing that there is something wrong the PMs? So I'll just say it here, the last couple of days have been very busy for me so I couldn't play at all or even msg you. And today (Friday May 22) I have to go to work in about an hour 4pm-Midnight EST then the following morning 8am-4pm so I won't be able to play today also. So we'll have to setup a match for Saturday or Sunday.
Oh and I apologize to the rest for the 2v2 bracket if we are the last one's going and everyone else is waiting for us to get the game done.

I thought it was 1 game per 1-2 days per team. I have some teamates that are going to be out of town, need to finish this within the week or it will draw out even longer.
And why do some teams get free passes?

some people just cant schedule matches fast enough, it will definitely run past this week
some teams get bye's because thats the way you do brackets and tournaments. its the only way it works out when you dont have a nice number like 8, 16 or 32.

GG to Baalz and Psisolider who beat myself and aodtbonee tonight. Very good match and their comeback victory really taught us something about our own play style and some things we're gonna steal from them.

It was an extremely good game Nasareth. My heart was racing. Never before have I fought such an invincible Oak. Its extremely unusual for an opponent to have me running scared. I'd say you are certainly not the only ones who learned a thing or two in that match. After evaluating my own decisions I find they were flawed in that game but in the end we managed to scrape out the win but it definitly could have gone either way until those final moments.
Heh, my patented strategy of "run the hell away every time the big scary guy with the axe shows up". Our conversation went something like:
"Gah, they keep effing killing us!"
"Ah, but we're faster than them, how can we leverage that?"
Very good game guys, we won with a hail mary from an inevitable loss.
