Ok, the idea for this is, to gather together arguments for why demigod is imbalanced. I'd like to restrict it to people who think it is imbalanced for a couple of pages, maybe longer if the discussion gets good. For a couple of reasons, one the issue turns into derisive flaming too quickly, or a close approximation thereof. Two-I think an opportunity to look at each other's ideas first, and be critical within a friendly conversation, prior to a larger debate that I think needs to happen. Three-an opportunity to make your thoughts cogent and clear for later discussion.
That's my plan...we'll see if it works.
What I'd like is for people to post what they think is imbalanced in the game, and for the like minded to discuss it. I do think it probably has balance problems, but I don't want to condemn it just yet, it hasn't been out too long, and there are technical issues that have a similar effect. I've had spells go unresponsive and have cost me (or an ally) a life, a kill, what have you (for example).
So post, I'm going to post what I think is a problem in a later post in this thread, but more than anything I want to get the discussion going.

The game keeps telling me that I'm godlike. I think this is unfair and waaaay OP and perhaps to nerf it they should make me play with my feet.

Seriously, if you think erebus didn't need a tone down you're dellusional at best. I can easily chase people past several towers and escape relatively unscathed. I know bad players, and I can push erebus past the threshold to capitlize on their shitty decisions way more than any other hero. Why he's classified as a general with the speed/damage/survivability he has is beyond me.

with erebus's bite nerfed, nothing else about the demigods stands out to me as overpowered. some abilities do seem too weak.
- QoT offensive spells, especially uproot, are not good. it feels like half of this hero's ability tree is very underdeveloped
- i never see UB's weapon damage buff used and can't say i would ever get it early or mid-game.
- more synergy should be given to sedna and erebus to encourage use of their minion abilities more frequently. oak and QoT synergize nicely with their minions by gaining health or damage from them.
- sedna's minions are flat out bad
some items are too good:
- look into ashkandor and the way it synergizes with other critical strike items
- heart of life is bugged and returns too much HP/MP and shouldn't work under some conditions (through DoTs
