I recorded a game with Frogboy (Brad Wardell - CEO of Stardock) last night, and figured I'd put it up for you folks to check out. We had a two versus two match shortly after the latest beta patch was released, and the game was surprisingly good.
It is 43 minutes in length, and in high definition. I have a direct download link up right now with it in 720P HD, however the file size is 1.8GB (yes, GB). If you would like to direct download the video via right-click save as, visit the following directory:

I believe my web host allows 50 concurrent connections at once, so if you cannot get through, please try again later. I also ask that you please not stream the file, just download it so that you don't take up a connection that someone else can use. I will update this post once the Youtube links are live.
Oh, and I'm not sure if replays work in beta via the methods previously posted on GameReplays.org, but I've included the .rep file if you'd rather watch that.
You can also watch the game via Youtube:

u want feedback ? ur item build sucks wtf u gonna do with an armor that give minion stats seriously ? get urself some mana so ur rdy to spam towers n creep and get more experience and u never bought items hello potions? hello tps? oh and heart of life is good when u have more than 3k of each hp/mana -.- im guessing ur new whats ur spec to rcord this?
well everyone else said what i wanted to say so... whats ur spec to record such a good quality video? and with what program fraps ?
wnmnkh - Just curious, how would the totem have helped? There were not any regulus (mines) / erebus (shroud) players. Consumables were limited by the low gold income unfortunately.
Des - this game did not represent my item build at all. Again, low gold income, this is not what I'm used to. Normally I'm getting kills off (or assists) often even in the early / mid game. Sometimes I'll buy universal gadgets even to snipe early game, since the 650 damage on an already wounded opponent is pretty brutal from level 1-5 or so. I usually keep one of each potion if I don't think I'll get the HoL early. I chose the armor quickly for its HP and Armor bonuses, not for minion benefits. I wanted to be meatier since I was consistently being targetted over Brad, and I'd rely on scooting away with the heart of life to heal when things got too tough.
If I could go back I'd have upgraded gold so I'd have the gold I needed later on for the items I wanted. I had decided to float cash for more expensive items though like the heart, and was always anticipating that we'd get more kills off once Frog levelled up. I just played a 2v2 Panth game where I had the Ashkandor within about 10 minutes and prior to level 14. Again, I cannot predict the future, this game was very unique compared to the ones I normally play.
I'm new in the sense that I did not play the beta, but I consider myself to be a solid TB player in retail. It took a lot of time to put this video together, and I did so mainly because I figured the community would like to see Brad play. I didn't really put this up to have my tactics and financial decisions torn to pieces, especially considering that this is not how my games play out normally.
Regarding recording - I used Fraps with a Core i7 920, 6GB DDR3, and Geforce GTX 280 custom build. I was in windowed mode at a non-standard res, but it still processed / encoded well enough to retain most of a 16:9 / 16:10 shape.
no sli graphic card ? i got a dual core E8500 and 4 GB i wonder if it would make a decent video
Please tell me you got that 920 overclocked.. Is that a d0 stepping?
Nice game.
What did you use to record this video mate?
Mystic, Totem of revelation increases your vision radius passively if you have it in your inventory (+5 vision radius.) And they are dirt cheap that you may spam it on the center of the map, allowing to see which demigod(s) is/are heading to where.
Consumables are very cost effective items that they pay you a lot more than you think. Not only instant effect is much better than buying helmet/armour, but it also allows you to stay on the battle more, allowing you to have more creep killings for both gold and experience points.
Not to mention they are very handy for demigod battles and nice item to surprise enemy demigods who think they got you.
Very impressive comeback. I seriously thought you and Frogboy were goners. Also, very nice with the Ice TB. Most people go fire. My only critism is that you should spend more on citadel upgrades. But you still won, so I guess it doesn't really matter.
On another note, is it just me or does Frogboy seem a bit untalkitive during the game?
Tidus - yes d0, and it's at 3.3ghz even though it is capable of much more. I'd rather ensure the most stability than push it to the limits.
Steel - Fraps set at full res 30fps.
Wmnmkh - I've used them in the past few games, they seem ok but I'm usually aware enough to not need the extra +5 vision. I've been waiting to see what happens when you expose mines though, as in if you can attack them or not.
Jager- Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I'd say most focused players don't have much time to talk, that's why a lot of times people come off very short (or even demanding), even if they're not trying to be. The only times that people should be typing away is when they're at the crystal.
Yeah that's why vent is such a godsend for communicating. Normally only type when i'm at the crystal or walking back to it.
As for the video I found it kinda boring in the sense that with 2v2 you want to see constant action that 3v3 or more provides but with constant 2 v 1 's it hardly happens. Enjoyed it but mostly skipped through half the match. There were errors from both sides that made me go "what were you thinking" but you weren't asking for comments on that so I won't comment.
EDIT: The one thing I have to comment on cause it drove me insane is, STOP USING SMILEY EVERY OTHER MESSAGE.
Oh man I'm watching it right now. I have to say Frogboy is better than most other devs I've played against in other games.
I still sit here, though, screaming at the Torchbearer... STOP OVEREXTENDING!
kittens
This was a fairly good match to watch. Very good play from Frogboy, which for some reason surprises me a little, thought I have no idea why it should
Mystic, no need to be so defensive about your performance. Accept some of the critisism coming your way without deflecting it on the first excuse you come up with eh? Everyone can improve still, plenty of room for it at an early stage of a game's release like this.
Very nice video, i totally recommend people to watch this.
I were amazed at how well Mystic where able to both play and keep an eye on chat. Im so much catched by the game i rarely see the chat, think frogboy have something like that too
Oh and since i saw you Mysic as ice TB i tried it myself, nice with the stun, but i prefer fire tho, feels more powerful
Frogboy definitely knows his stuff in this game, this is the second time I've seen him as Oak where he kicked major butt. In regards to feedback, I've taken some of it to heart no doubt, although I think my main mission was pointing out that this didn't play like my regular games, and I had no way of knowing that I'd be so gold starved.
I am back to a hybrid build though, but only with fireball instead of the health tree. I forgot how handy having a fireball on top of ice is, but the loss of the extra health / mana plus regen makes the TB much more of a glass cannon. I know some might find the health tree bonuses trivial, but it's really like wearing an extra piece of gear.
Anna, I sometimes miss messages too, although at the very least try to keep an ear out for the ping. Sometimes a ping is just as good as typing. Glad you both enjoyed it.
DLing the video now. I do hope you guys utilized trash talk while facing each other down.
