This is a total conversion mod, so the TEC, Advent, and Vasari are no longer playable
The Colonials and Cylons are now playable races

This. The Berzerk is already in-game and fills a role similar to the Gamma Basestar. Still, expect some new things when the update comes out

I'm not sure if these things have been mentioned because i got lazy and couldn't be bothered combing through the entire thread.
I was wondering if you were planning on incorporating the stealth ship built on Galactica into the game, i think it would work well with an anti-phase jump ability considering it took out ressurection's jump drive.
Also i was reading through the specs on the Pegasus Battlestar on another site and it mentioned that it had electronic countermeasure (ECM) generators to ward of missles. Could this be incorprated somehow with a minimal sheild that could be boosted with an ability?

Hello,I downloaded this mod a few days ago and am enjoying it immensely, however it keeps crashing on me. It doesn't matter what is happening in the game it will just crash to desktop with a 'sins of a solar empire has stopped working' message from windows.
I am running Entrenchment v 1.051 as opposed to 1.05, which may be the cause of my problems, i've noticed that there is a sins 1.05 folder where mods go but if i put the file into there it doesnt appear in the list of mods
here are my system specs
Windows 7 Professional 64 bitNvidia GTS 250Core 2 duo 2.66 GHz (E6750)4GB RAM
I have no problems running stock sins of a solar empire entrenchment & diplomacy, or the Stargate Invasion mod for entrenchment.
Also sometimes models are textured entirely with the same colour as the player (blue player with all blue battlestar) and other times they are textured properly, also happens to sins default stuff like trade ports.

Actually, it could just be a passive ability with a decently long range that affects the range and to-hit chances of nearby enemies.
Ok update, i've been playing in dev mode and not been getting any crashes, I have however been getting this message:

Ended up reinstalling Sins from scratch (I have trinity so it wasn't too painful) after trying to play LAN with my brother.The game kept saying that some meshes weren't the same on both machines. Been playing for a while now with no problems
Anyway we can get some screenshots up so we can see some of the new stuff?
The BSG mod for Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption has the Galactica listed as a Columbia class. In the version I have it lists them as Galactica-class I'm not sure if you have changed it but I get seriously get annoyed when I hover over it on EaWFoC its says Columbia-class and when I play SoaSE it says Galactica-class.
EDIT: Quotes aren't working.
Take it up with them, not me. The Battlestar Wiki lists it as a Galactica Type Battlestar and that's what I'm going with. If they want to go with Columbia that's up to them, but I'm certianly not changing it just because that's what they're using. I also direct you to this quote from the Wiki page about the Columbia:

Was wondering if you could use some help with the mod in anyway. I can do some cool stuff with creating main view and info card icons with the right files in hand. Not sure what your plans are on that. Shoot me a PM if your interested and I can tell you what I need.
Also, I'm pretty sure I know how to fix "A point(3069) was found more than once in triangle" if your interested. I get this occasionally with my models and my XSI solution might work for you too.

Has anyone seen the battlestar galactica mod for homeworld 2? I think that they have a lot of good ship ideas in it.
forgot to post this earlier but need to fix scale on basestars they're not bigger than the pegasus they're roughly same size pegasus might be a tad bigger but other than that they're roughly the same size
and also u guys ever goin to change the StarBases? shrink the Colony a lot and add the ragnarok station lol just a minor suggestion just some helpful hints and tips a bit obbsessed with BSG and would like to help with ideas or anything
They've already got big plans on Starbase changes... I can hardly wait...

Yes, I have played it, and yes, they have some pretty awesome stuff. Sadly, HW2 models are hard to get into the right format for Sins.
Blame that on the fact that reliable scale references online for the relative sizes of the all the BSG ships
