Not to be a jerk, but there are a lot of other games with BSG mods. Homeworld 2 has a pretty decent one, Star Wars: Empire at War as at least two, there is Beyond the Red Line for Freespace 2, it's not done yet, but it looks pretty awesome. There is also an actual BSG game for the Xbox360, although it isn't very good. So yeah, there are lots of ways to play BSG
In regards to giving the Berzerk flak: It probably won't happen. I've experimented with giving ships (not just the Berzerk) flak guns in addition to the regular, anti-ship guns. It doesn't work too well. They do all sorts of wierd stuff in regards to targeting priority. If you just leave them to autoattack, they like to chase fighters all over the gravity well instead of engaging ships.
hm what about a smaller version of flakburst from the caps ? of course weaker and on higher cooldown ? at least for the escort class since they are really expensive
i think the dmg from the cylon starbases needs some buff aswell (missle dmg)
the tec ability from the cielo command cruiser would fit also for a cylon ability i think (focus fire thingie)
maybe a smaller version of flakburst for the berzerk escort ? (half radius, half dmg? longer cooldown?)
i kinda dont like playing cylon vs Ai cuz thats so non canon when the colonials rush you with some stupid colonial defenders
If you really wish flak, a solution can be to use the flak burst ability from the Kol battleship...
I don;t know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but since this requires entrenchment, has anyone thought of changing the starbase models to that of Ragnar Station and the Cylon research facility they showed in the finale?
Other than that thought, all I have to say is damn good job guys, really, the mod is a dream come true.
The models are soon to be released. Kyogre12 will have around 35 more models to choose from. If he desires to use them there is enough for a 3rd race + station fixes and addons. But if he uses them dont cry ALL if its not canon BSG.
I dont have season4 so i cant make much from there as i dont have many referances to look at. I only have 1 blurry pic of the Cylon research facility i cant make out any details from it.
I assume by research facility you mean the Colony? I can tell you now that the Colony will not be the starbase. To make it even close to accurate scale would mean it would be the size of the current gravity wells. I've said this before, the Cylon SB will be the Ressurection Hub, and the Colonial will be Ragnar.
As kreeargh said, he is making a bunch more models. There may be a 3rd race based off the original series coming eventually. Either that, or the Cylons+Colonials will be getting a lot more ships.
If you wanted an idea for a third faction, you could do the Eastern Alliance. They had some dealings with the colonials in the classic series... can't remember too much what their vessels looked like, but with an imagination, may make things very interesting.
That is the 3rd faction the Eastern Alliance There was only 1 ship seen from that faction in the Tos series i remember so the rest is non canon designs. Since this is basicly a NEW era mod the EA faction will have new tech to make it more powerfull and a worthy fight not like it was in TOS.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, they're still a little bit under construction, so if you experience any problems with them, they should go away soonish
Kyogre, would it be possible to change the Raptor models? The Construction Raptor uses the Battle Raptor model, which just looks weird, and the Battle Raptor model would work much better as a bomber than the regular Raptor.
The problems with swaping them is that the battle raptor/construction raptor is that 1. it's too big and 2. it needs to be hardpointed. The size thing I can fix, since I finally got the mesh resizer working, but I need the original, non-mesh version of the model so I can hardpoint it, which I don't have.
Also, in v0.95 the bomber is kind of the battle raptor. It's the regular raptor with missile pods attached to it.
Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes, for some reason I didn't think of the resurrection hub. Still, you guys are doing a great job and I look forward to future releases.

I have done 1 and 2 however i cant see Options -> Mods in the game.
Anyone who knows what i have done wrong?
And i am 100 % sure its the right directiry i have copied it to.
I'm going to take a quick stab at this...
Just as you launch the game, you see Single Player, Multi Player, Ironclad Online, Options, Download Updates, and Quit... click options, if you see Tutorial, New Game, Load Game... you need to go back a screen.
... and not in the actual game either when you can build ships...

Which version are you using? The latest version of this mod requires version 1.041 of Entrenchment.
Would it be possible to have an alternate mod to make this capital ship game only? I think it could be fun with just battlestars and basestars without the other ships. Don't know how hard it would be to code so I'm asking.
Caps only doesn't work if you want to play against the AI. Removing everything else is easy, but the AI won't have any idea what to do.
Maybe duplicate all cap to frigates and cruiser, this way we will have only cap ship, and AI will know what to do

So you downloaded the mod, unpacked it, and placed the "Sot13T v0.95 Planets" folder inside the "Mods-Entrenchment v1.041" folder? You must have Entrenchment, and have it patched up to v.1.041, then enable it by running Etrenchment, not regular sins, then going into options, mods, then hilighting the mod, then enable.
If you did all of that, you have everything patched... then try redownloading the mod. Maybe you have something corrupted when you tried to download it.
