I was looking at getting either the Witcher Enhanced Edition or Mass Effect for the PC but I'm in the UK. I can't get either of these on Steam and Impulse wants little shy of £30(!) for Witcher EE which is a bit rich considering I thought it was an old game I would be able to get on the cheap.
So far the best price for Mass Effect I have found is a digital download from Gamers Gate for £14.95 and the Witcher not so much luck.
I've tried using a proxy server to try and convince Steam I'm in the USA as neither are available on Steam in the UK but they seem to have plugged that loop hole.
Anyone got either of these games cheaply in the UK recently?
Mass effect is for 15€ on GG for me. oh wait...you britains didnt wanted the €...

The base version of the Witcher sure. However the EE came out September 16th 2008. Given the difference between editions plus a free upgrade for any one that originaly bought the Witcher, I can understand keeping the price the same.
Since older versions of the Witcher get a free upgrade to EE, you should try to find a base version. Checking the UK version of Amazon gets £15.52
