What about a demigod that looks like anubis ( dog headed human ) that looks evil and very tall? He could have an ability like Sedena but opposite, the death aura.
A demigod that has no defined shape, but a black mass of liquid with few peices of armor or bones. His minions could look exactlly like him so hes hard to target quickly.
I agree with an egyptian-esque demigod. It fits perfectly. All of the other Demigods are fairly Greek and Norse in nature... so I think it is only fitting that the new Demigod be egyptian themed. That would be totally kick ass.
Yes, you and the OP get it. The current gods are greek and norse in nature, so an egyptian themed demigod is awesome. If they want to do more fantasy or tech based demigods, do that in a dlc long down the road. The theme of gods as models for demigods should continue forward.
No traditional knight, wizards, dwarves, elves, or orcs please. This is so overdone and would distract from the unique charm of this game.
EXACTLY. Man, I really hope they add an Egyptian demigod first, and like you said, all of the more "traditional" stuff later. Another interesting "demigod" I had in my mind was just a simple man from the future... who stumbled upon the Demigod era in a time machine, bringing his vastly superior technology to the realm... all of the locals thought his technological devices were magic... and thus they worpshipped him as a demigod... he then gets attacked out of fear for his power by local bringands... utilizing his technology to defend himself.. he succeeds... and as the gods above watch, he gets invited to the pantheon. What do you think of that idea?
Mixed feelings. I obviously want traditional gods added first. Then I would like to see different types of dlc. One traditional pack, one sci-fi pack, and one fun pack.
Traditional Pack:4 demigods such as Elf Wizard, Dwarf Knight, Evil Sorceress, Ork, Goblin, etc. 2 maps such as castle map, forest or island map, and dungeon map.
Sci-fi Pack:4 demigods such as Steam Punk Inventor, Time Travelor, Cyborg, Alien, etc. 2 maps such as moon base and utopia/garden of eden.
Fun Pack:This one is just fun think Werewolves, Pirates, etc.
To be honest, I highly doubt any of those are gonna make it into Demigod unfortunately. More than likely (and from what Frogboy has hinted at in his Demigod ideas post) it will be more traditional Demigods. Which is fine with me, really the only one that I fully believe deserves to be in this game is an egyptian demigod, all the other ideas being thrown around don't really mesh with the game well (including mine) as cool as some of them might be. I also have a feeling that they are only going to add 4 new demigods, making a total of 12. New maps are defintiely needed and would be a welcome edition, but I read somewhere they cost a lot of money to make because they are fully rendered in 3d. So I don't think we should be expecting many new maps... they are also are not easily moddable unfortunately.
Yah i dont really like the idea of anythinb but traditional, scifi doesnt really cut it in this game.
