Hello my fellow demigods, this is a guide aimed at the demigod Sedna and in specific the healing side of the story.
Skills:
(*) This is the point where you can either keep following the skill build described above or you have the choice of taking Counter healing (which of course makes all the other skills come a level later). I usually take this skill as soon as the opposing team gets priests or in some cases when I'm up against a priest heavy general.
The skill build is based on strong insta heals for yourself and allies and a good personal HP regen rate and some regen for your allies with Healing wind. For most single demigods it will be very hard to push you off the flag you are holding and if players from the opposing team are not that well known with sedna they will often overextend to get the final few hits on you only to find out it was for nothing when they die and see you fill your HP bar with 1 click of a button.
Items:
Optionally you can take items like Banded armor (550g), Hauberk of life (1750g) and Unbreakable boots (1500g). These will further increase your HP regen and HP/Mana pool.
Keep into consideration that it's not a race to Heart of life in terms of gold, in many cases it's a lot more important to upgrade your citadel or when pushed out of your lane teleporting back to the shop to buy some more teleport scrolls and mana pots. I have ended games without buying Heart of life and just using mana potions, spending all my money on citadel upgrades, however this usually happens when the opposition is being steamrolled by my allies.
Favor item:
This item fits sedna like a custom made glove. The +280 mana and +4 mana per second are very useful in early game and in combination with the mana regen from the scaled helm and the occasional mana potion it will be hard to run out of mana the first couple of levels.
The best part about this item is the short range teleport it offers with the added 100 damage on entry, this can be both a lifesaver and killer. Teleporting away from danger or teleporting to fleeing opponents for that 100 damage plus a possible autoattack or pounce. Also getting behind enemy lines for that portal cap/lock and getting out again without too much damage can be a game turner.
Conclusion:
In conclusion i would like to thank you for reading this guide and hope that some constructive criticism will follow so i can improve this build. My native tongue is not English so I'm sorry for any spelling mistakes. I was planning on doing another section covering the play style of this build but i think this is something that should come with experience as in making this build, I have done so trough trial and error.
Great Buikld i will only say, that since you are not getting yetis you should go for inner grace instead of healing wind, cause i think inner grace is better considering you don use a lot of minions or are nto supporting other demigods.
Thanks for the comment, I was under the impression that healing wind also increases your own HP regen rate. If this is not the case i will have to rethink some things about the build. I will test this as soon as i get the chance.
Before i started using this exact skill build i always took Inner grace as my level 2 skill because of the 5% movement speed possibly getting you out of some sticky situations. But after a while i realized that in early game, running away from your lane is not good at all so went with the higher HP regen for extra staying power. (this ofcourse only goes if Healing wind actually increases your personal HP regen)
Yeah of course healing wind increases your own regen, i said it exactly because of the movement speed bonus of inner grace, but you might be right, but i still prefer the movement speed bonus when im doing solo without yetis.
Edit: Ninja'd.
In that case i think during the time between lvl 2 and 3 the extra 2 hp a second is more usefull, but since the diffrence is so little both options are viable. Keep in mind tho that for escaping purposes you have the cloak.
I'm not totally sure about this, if healing wind also increases the regen of the creep waves this further increases your staying power. And ofcourse the regen rate of your laning partner which often can save you some mana by not having to use heal on them.
This entire build is ment to support the demigod carrying your team and to have a lot of staying power to keep a lock on crucial map locations or being able to solo a lane against most demigods.
Good guide, but in my opinion Innergrace is less important than Magnificent presence. Reduced CD aura kick ass.
For speed, get the boots for 1000g. And health, usually you're fine with healing wind + heal + summonded Monk minnions.
Sounds good, i will give it a shot and see how it plays.
