Can I mark a position on the map with a ping as in SupCom? I havent seen this feature documented anywhere, is it implemented?

It's not accurate I don't think. It was like pinging a mouse pointer away from where I was pointing.
I'd be more intersted in a hotkey to make all units except my DG invisible for a moment. Especially when I'm playing a 3v3 with one teammate and two opponenets playing the same DG as me, I can't find myself sometimes...

You ping on the main map, not the minimap.
What is needed is pinging on the gameplay area, not the minimap. Need to be able to amrk something people see on the game field with an arrow on the edge of the screen pointing to it when it's not in view.
I don't care for the minimap pinging at all. I want savage2 type pings.

The glowing eam of yellow light marking that guy as target..
Savage2 has green light piller pings for making "move here" on the ground. If you can't see them it makes an arrow on the edge of your screen. Then you have "attack this unit" pings for clicking on someone that has a piller of light shining on them.
Demigod NEEDS them. It wouldn't be hard at all to implement. It's justa particle effect and sound effect that only allies can view.. the arrow thing on edge of screen would be a bit more work, but still, basically simple stuff that'll greatly improve the ui.
Wholeheartedly agree, also, it would be nice if there was an attack here ping that the ai would notice and would encourage them to go there.
Yup, we dont have VoIP (and I dont miss it) but we could certainly use a better ping system to make team communication easier.
