Which is The Best race?

OK, i expect to pick up a LOT of flak for this, BUT i will freely admit that i prefer the TEC to the other races (I rarely play as Vasaari and i have never even finished a game as Advent)

I favour the TEC because i like the look and feel of their ships, i think their capital ships are the best and i really love the strong economy you can build up quite easily (especially with the Trade Facilities on the Argonev, 6.5 credits per second each, great!), the strong economy and the reduce ship build time reseach allows you to rapidly and cheaply replace losses, and the ships themselves are great.

also...there is just something...satisfying...about winning games as TEC. as if you'd saved the human race from annihilation.

BUT, what race is your favourite, and most importantly, WHY???

Every race is so awesome and fun to play with it. That's why I love so much Sins of a solar Empire! And that shows what a good work have done the team of Ironclad Games! Big congratulations for them!

But of course I have my favorite one, and that is ADVENT! What I like in them is:

Capital ships - they have so good capital ships, that TEC rivalry compared to them looks as old Russian cars vs modern and powerful west cars. Simply Advent's capital ships posses one of the best abilities and they work wonderful mixed together!
Culture
Best defense
Best harmony and team-work between the different ships
The philosophy of the spiritual evolution and unity
Ships and structures design

I just don't like their difficulty in the early game and the super-weapon, but there have to be a balance.

vassari are best

if you use their best abilities properly they are unstopable

their cannon and mobilizing abilities are supreme => combine this with stripp... way to evil!

i have to agree with space angel as the vasari loyalist you really have no need for any planets so why should your enemies

This was a mid-late game screen i took and everyone was hating me because of the thorough job i was doing on the planets

I want a mixed faction.

I would take the Radiance, the Halcyon, the Discord, the Illuminator, the Garda, the Orgov, the Marza, the Akkan, Skirmisher, the Jikara, the Jarun Migrator, the Antorak, the Enforcer, Iconus, the Karrastra, the Serevun, and the Sulsurak.

Probably have mixed same-classes in there, but you get the drift.

The opening sequence of Rebellion suggests the possibility of a mixed faction later... I'm guessing when the x64 Sins2 is released.

I would think that is something a pirate race would do..... who knows maybe soon the pirates will be a playable race with mixed tech from all the races.

I haven't played Advent or Vasari yet, because of apathy (woo!) and because I like the TEC a crap ton. With a great economy, cool ships (both functionally and aesthetically), strong-ass defenses and an overall awesomeness that comes from a seeming draw from me towards human factions, I find the TEC the best. However, I also like the sound of the Vasari, since their mechanics and ships (from what I've gathered from the somewhat cryptic information I can find ) appeal to me more than those of the Advent. Also, the Advent stuff looks way too weird for me.
