well you can read, what we wrote.
Basically, Zock and me have the opinion, that GPGnet is working better than Impulse/Demigod-System. This was all we had said in this chat.
Then Frogboy, who I would have thought to be a qualified employee of Stardock, just insulted us, and few seconds later, we both were banned from chat and still are.
Is this how you cannot even say your opinion in a chat? this is really.. rather ridiculous to me. I really am thinking about, if I still want to buy and support this game, after my demo key runs out.
Arguments of GPGnet being better in current state than impulse are plenty. I can list them, if you want.
Still.. i think banning us for saying something criticising... is a way too much.
Thank you for your time.
Ok, so you're sitting around in chat insulting the developers for a while, and eventually someone shows up to call you out about it. Frogboy then asked you why you thought he didnt use GPG.net and you replied that it was "cos you did want something that fails even more." I see you kept it up after that too, but your chat picture doesnt show much else past a single snippy comment.
Doesnt seem like a big deal to me. Do you really think the developer should take your abuse in his own chat room? You still have an account here, so it's not like you're banned from the game. Where's the problem?
Frogboy asked "why they should use gpgnet" and this kid goes and said "cos you want something that fail even more".
Boot.
I like GPG and Stardock because it doesn't feel like there is a gag order with their employees or red tape. Activision had this policy in place (I used to be an employee..) and I could not tell you I worked there, which games I was working on or why things were. Having an open policy at stardock and gpg is the better way to go. it involved the community and lends for a much better game than not including the people who are going to play them in the first place. Frogboy and the rest of the gang have my outmost respect and even then, demigod is really a very nice game to play. So that said, stop antagonizing stardock/gpg's employees and help them make a better game.
It's beginning to feel like this wasn't the community response he expected
Be happy he didn't ban you from Demigod. I seem to recall him telling a story about how someone ticked him off enough that he refunded the user's money and banned him from the game (an older game, not Demigod). Maybe he banned him from buying any Stardock products. Wish I could remember the details; it was a good story.

Frogboy always gets mad at me for being better at games than him. ;_;
after him calling us idiots without any reason, true. and maybe this wasnt correct either. I admit that. But I see, most people in this forum are not capable of a serious discussion.
That seems like a very short leash. And just seems to be some Admins on a power trip
Do I understand correctly from the screenshots that Frogboy is implying that Impulse reactor is based on GPGnet ?
BTW, the following article was one year old http://draginol.impulsedriven.com/article/307238/Stardock_Gas_Powered_Games_Ironclad_Games_Gaming_Nirvana
and seems to imply that Stardock, GPG and Ironclad are sharing experience for building an unified multiplayer architecture.
Problem with people like you is that you do not know when to stop. Not everything deserves or can be given an answer or has to be up for discussion, but you just push it to much, try using intelligent words till you get one. Not everything has to be constantly discussed when it has been over and over again. We do not come on the forums to try to pretend to be smarter than others.
There is also not point in discussing when you go stating your oppinions as a fact. Because it is not a discussion anymore. You are simply stating things and saying they are truth and that others can't be right. Constantly refreshing the page and replying to every post that doesn't agree with you.
And what if they have really based Impulse reactor on GPGnet?
How come you didn't print the whole log of what you typed?
How do you expect to go blasting someones company and not expect a comeback? Why don't you go and write netcode for a game, come back and tell us how simple it is?
STFU n00b. So you got the butthurt over not being able to defend your position against someone with more knowledge of what's going on behind the scenes than you do. Get over it.
i know i don't expect to be able to angrily criticize merchants' products with impunity *shrug*. i just do it
Frogboy has called me mean names too

I have seen worse...the guys over at S2Games can be brutal...not just calling someone an idiot, but down right cursing them out lol.
I forget the owners name (Maliken I think) but I have seen him on occassion rip into players for acting stupid.
haha, classsic. Frogboy >>>>>>> all
Frogboy rules.
Hey at least you got a reaction. Lot more then you would get form most companies. Now you didn't like the reaction, but hey watch out what you wish for eh?
As my friend (Mooglepies) just said to me..."Frogboy is like House."
I think it's a perfect comparison.
It is their room. They can ban whomever they want for whatever reason.
Frogboy is kind of like House MD for CEOs.
Kryo: "But if we utilise a vaccine of GPGnet to counteract the poison of the pirate-parasites and port forwarding problems in one go."
Frogboy: "YOU IDIOT." *Proceeds to kick ass and take names.
oh really because if that's true he should come into this thread and call you an idiot, because that really is stupid.
Unprofesional in the extreme. Hire some competent PR people you have a disaster on your hands. As an aside impulse is complete crap compared to something like Steam. It is subpar and unless you greatly improve all aspects it will become a negative in purchasing your products.
