I'm interested in possibly getting Demigod (after trying the forthcoming demo, of course), but I have to admit I'm offended by the Queen of Thorns as pictured on this website. IMO, she is far beyond the "partial" nudity the game is rated for. That's like saying you only ate "part" of a pie, when all that's left is one tiny crumb.
Anyhow, I'd like to know: how much of this game can be played (both SP and MP) without having to see the Queen of Thorns?
well i dont have the game, but from what i know ill answer as best i can. The game does not have a campaign mode just skirmishes in single player then the online mode. as far as single player mode goes i think you'd be able to play as much as you want without seeing the queen of thorns. As far as playing online goes (which is what the game should be played on), it depends on the people you play. Since it is online, the only times you would see the queen of thorns is if the people you are playing with choose to use her
Well, the only place you really see it would be the demigod selection game. Ingame you'd hardly notice anything as you're well zoomed out. and she's occasionally hiding in the plant bulb.
Her actualy character is tiny on screen and she has a form where she can't be seen at all. (any player good with her will be in closed form 90% of the time)
lol don't take this the wrong way but...relax pal. You make it sound like this game is a porno... sure they made her sexual but that was the point. She's the temptress type, think of her as the "ivy" from batman it just wouldn't be the same if she was wearing a jacket and baggy pants.
Yah the giant QoT and her assets you see posted everywhere are marketing. Ingame she looks like 4 beetles carrying a flower. At the center of the flower is a tiny lil semi-nude female figure, but you have to zoom in way too close to play to get properly offended. ^^

well, i have the game and i play since the first beta, you won't be able to avoid playing with/against the QoT, since there are 8 demigods (more will be added, but they won't increase the total to 600).
However when you play you do not want to have the came on the ground but 10/20 meters high so you can see a good portion of the battle field. So if the nudity of the QoT bothers you so much, you won't see it anyway at this height.
Okay, that makes me feel a lot better! Can't wait for that demo!! Think it'll have limited MP?
EDIT: It sounds like I can choose who I want to play against, both in SP and MP. Is this true?

if you play a single player tournament you will play against QoT (or with her) every match in a single player skirmish game you can pick and choose which DGs you face, as for online it is purely chance that QoT will play or not but as others have said just stay zoomed out and u cant see a thing anyway especially as she is in the flower
I thought she was an octopus the first time I played, because she's actually in a flower with vines, and you have to zoom all the way in to discover it's a person.

For a while I thought about not getting the game because of the QoT myself, but thankfully when you're actually playing you can't see her well enough for it to matter. Honestly, I'm still kinda disapointed that they pulled something like that though.

My suggestion is that until you are mature enough, taking part in the aforementioned activities will pretty much douse you in the sexuality that you so despise.

Censorship sucks. I don't see why they should have to cover up anything on her. It doesn't matter to me what shes dressed or not dressed in. It's about the artists concept, if he want's her to have her nipples sitting there and vag then that's his artistic idea and it should be left as he or she wants it. Once you've seen one breast you've seen them all. If someone's buying the game for zomg boobies well, they've got to be retarded since theres all sorts of places to get free boobs.
The choice should be on the consumer not the artist. Let them make what they want and if you don't want to see it don't buy it. Simple as that.
