My player name (Popsmeared) is what I originally set up when I downloaded Demigod. During the 0 Day Hoopla I then changed it to Popsmear. I log in the multiplayer with Popsmear. My account on here is Popsmear. However when I am in a game it defaults back to "Popsmeared".
It also does not save a single game I have played other than the first one before I changed my name.

This is effecting my achievements, favor points and everything. I know everything will be reset for Epoch 1 but is this going to fix my name issue? What can I do to gget this taken care of.

well how about the problem with it saying "wrong username/password" when i know it to be correct when logging into multiplayer. when i click to retrieve password it sends me to impulse, where i cant even find a PW, and it says im registered under one email then when i goto make a new name with current email, says im registered under that one. so far no luck getting it to even reject my IP or anything. i cant even get into multiplayer. and i have registered the game.

What about an issue where logging in does nothing, the bottom left of the screen says 'Logged in as' without any name there at all, and when you chat your name shows up as 'Guest 107' or something?
Try deleting the file 'Game.prefs' which is located here:YOUR USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod
Then close Impulse and run the following file:http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg
Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password. Then launch Demigod and try to log into multiplayer.

It can take up to 24 hours after the change is made for the database to go through and refresh it.
Where exactly can you change your name? I've been looking, but can't find it. Help out a poor noob.
Log into the following site where you will be able to change your username.http://www.impulsedriven.net/When you sign in, click 'Account' near the top of the screen. On the page that comes up, select 'Login'. From here you will be able to change your username.
I changed my nickname back but the messages are keep coming from the previous nickname!!!!
