I like this game, I like Stardock, but I may quit soon if this *poo* doesn't get fixed. What *poo* you may wonder? When I play Regulus and I get an enemy down to 400 health, and I rightclick to attack them while they run away, my guy sits there and sucks his *hotdog*. *WTFudge* is this?
IT RUINS THE GAME!
Simple as that. One kill early on could possibly change the entire fight, and when that *poo* keeps happening why play? Why even try to attack them if they can run away and I can try and attack but nothing?

This bug has pissed me off horribly.
This also happen to the generals and minions as well, in the general case it's really broken the game since all your minions stop following and start attacking nearby target instead leaving the lone generals to attack and get killed. And seriously the attack move ,or aggressive move or whatever you want to call it, IS TOTALLY BROKEN!!. In case of range demigod like regulus or TB, you move close to the point you assign attack move then attack, then move then attack, until you reach the point. With the melee demigods you just attack what in the line to the target point. This is TOTALLY BROKEN FOR GENERALS WITH MINIONS as well. With minion it just does random stuffs, sometimes just move to target no attacking at all, most of the time your general just move to target alone and minions start attacking nearby target.
For your information, I'm sure that i saw many people posting this since beta, can't believe it still exists. This really make my time with Generals really the worst frustrating experience ever in demigods. Seem like there're just too many things to fix for the game now, I should leave the game for half a year or so then comeback and play when it's completely done.

Victim of many lost kills (and a few deaths) here due to this bug, mostly with the UB.
As above posters have said, it's mostly on/around corners and rounded areas of the map and such, but has happened in random spots too.
This happens all the time when I'm Erebus chasing down an enemy Very annoying, happens frequently.
Happens to me too. A lot . Not just with a simple attack command, but also with special abilities/spells/whatever. I use the ability, click on the enemy, I get no negative response from the UI, yet my Character doesn't do anything.
Yes, please fix it. Its known since BETA after all.

if you ask me, online should be fixed, then this. who cares about game modes or balance if no one wants to play? yea, people can learn to deal with it, but even those small moments where you have to reissue move can lose a kill
Agreed, the very basic of the gameplay should be fixed first. In this case it's the accuray of the control. Imagine if you bought a car and when you turn the wheel, your car sometimes not turning. That ruin everything, even if that car is the fastest car in the world. And yeah i'll keep bumping this thread for a week or until it get fix.

Played a single player skirmish on hard last night with Oak. So far, (for me) he's been the worst of all the DGs. He'll totally attack the DG that I right click on...like once...then he loses it and goes after anything closer to him.
ITT Oak is one unruly mofo.
UB tends to get stuck, ON NOTHING, pretty often although he looks like he's still trying to move. And you're totally right about Regulus doing absolutely nothing.
Maybe he's having a nostalgic moment about his wings?
Yesterday, I was about ready to pull my hair out, as Sedna would pounce and nearly kill someone, then proceed to do a 180 to attack a minion or something rather then continue to auto attack the pounce target. Trying to pounce, move, cancel move into attack can be frusterating against people, especially if there is any lag going on. DGs need to continue to auto attack the target of an ability, at least (or especially) in melee.
yeahhhhhhhh its only happened with UB for me, but it happens almost every game
I'm beginning to wonder if they can fix it. I've been playing since the early beta and this has been a well known issue that has yet to even be remotely resolved. I have a bad feeling it's just part of the game mechanics and therefor is unfixable short of GPG reprogramming the entire targeting routine (which they aren't likely to do).
In which case crank up the refund rates.
i hope the can. last night i gave an attack command, all was well, but then regulus stopped attacking just because the other regulus ran out of range
I seen it also with QoT and the fire/ice dude (sorry char name escapes me) It feels alot like a pathing issue, but thats just my gut instinct.
Sedna suffers from a similar bug. She won't heal! You have to move her to "unbug" her to get her to heal again. Very annoying when you rush up to someone to heal them and it doesn't fire.
This bug has been in beta for many months. It's quite annoying and I also got used to it that I know how to get around it. It sucks to watch your enemy get away while your demigod just stands there.
Please fix!!
ANOTHER FUCKING GAME RUINED
two regulus vs tb and erubus. tb down to 600 health, he starts to run. both of us are faster(swift anklets and one has boots). we issue attack commands, and reguli stop cause he moves out of range for a sec. the we have to start up and now he got that little jump and he's by towers when we get to him and one of us dies, he gets to 60 ish health, then grabs the pot from dead, and i die
i shouldn't have to adjust by forcing to make dumb move commands. if i rightclick target, my guy should attack and follow
We can only hope it will be fixed after the connection issue.
This happens to me alot also.
Also I will sometimes have to click heal up to 3 times before it will actually cast, and they aren't out of range or anything and the game isn't even lagging. That is HUGE in alot of matchs and by that time the person will likely be dead.
