So, an excellent player and I were doing a 3v3 with Itsmevic on our team. He was quickly beaten up in a 2v1 after only building disciples against a TEC opponent and starting off with two civic labs, quitting the game after about 20 mins. (Somehow, I knew something like that was gonna happen.) Instead, he should have built illuminators and run his cap and his fleet away to the middle of the map where he might have been able to help our team or at least occupy the opponents for a while.
After a long drawn out fight where I and my teammate had excellent game play, clearly demonstrating the ability to roll any two of the other guys on the map, we ended up losing since it was 3v2 against three decent players. I'm blaming this loss on Itsmevic who needs to learn how the Team game is played and what to do when things aren't going well for you early on.
I won't come out and say I am itsmevic's and rubbee's greatest fan ever, but I have played with them both.
From what I have seen their styles are different. Saurabh I do not know. But playing style X with name A and style Y with name B would be hard, especially since both play Vassari so much. It isn't as if they have a different style for each race, this would require a different one for each race that they follow depending on who is logged in.
Generally what I have noticed rubbee likes to be more econ and itsmevic likes to be more aggressive and build up his fleet.
Are you REALLY sure of this claim that they are making that all 3 are the same person?
FYI - this happened to me a few nights ago. I JUST got an egg out in time. I ended up towards the end of the game being top 5 for fleet and eco by the end and was running around sucking the other team's feeder's planets and putting up starbases etc...
I didn't win the game for us by myself but me staying in meant I was able to draw away other resources/kill their infra etc...
It's plain and simple: no matter how bad it's going for you, you can still help your team win, as long as you have a single planet, fleet, cap or colonizer still alive. You can delay, harass, annoy and distract. Leaving just because you lost a fight or don't have the upper hand or the enemy fleet isn't blowing up in a fancy lightshow (though yours is) and thus leaving just sucks for your team. I wholeheartedly agree with Hack here.
This all i have to say regarding the names of itsmevic and RubeeIs. IF you really think they are different people, howcome rubee doesn't have a forums name to defend himself? Its pretty simple, because you can only have one forums name per computer, and he already has itsmevic.
Saurabh has his own forum name. If that's true then it cant be saurabh

I dont think people have realizs this but u can make more than one forum name here the only way to check is there member nomber
He's trying to estalbish rules which can be standardized. I liek rules because they make sense. I dont like how this thread was started because it was arbitrary but it does bring up a point. All my wins are because I owned a guy and he quit. They were small games. In a 3v3 he should have called. Thats that.
I realize you are a senior poster and that you are a contributer to the community, but be constructive. Please do.
I contribute when necessary. itsmevic trolls for no reason. I've responded with logic before, but have just been pushed aside or been trash talked and I have given up with him. It's better just to ignore what he says and move the thread on to a new topic. Seriously.
Ive seen itsmevic and Rubee in the same game once, so ... unless he has 2 pcs, they might not be 1 person.
So what is this black list douchebaggery, I need a good laugh
Edit: nvm, just missed it upon my first skim through
Bullshit, they suck overall and probably don't have the economy you do.
Very friendly words which will encourage everyone to try out multiplayer
On a more serious note: being inexperienced does lead to smaller fleets/weaker economy, yes. But that doesn't mean that they can't contribute anything to the game. What Hack refers to is not an example of bad gameplay (i.e. economy and fleetbuilding) but bad tactics, which he explicitely advised against. So it's not a matter of experience or routine in macro-/micro-management but plain stubbornness and stupidity. The critical point is: newbies are very welcome. They won't be invited to play skilled pug games, of course, but nontheless I wouldn't mind playing with them as long as the teams are balanced out.
But: newbies who think they know better or don't want to listen to advice and improve themselves might as well continue playing singleplayer where all of their awesome strategies work against the skillful AI. Being welcomed or not is not a matter of skill but of attitude.
I have no idea what point you are making here... Are you supporting or opposing the statements you quoted???
Thanks for the suporting words Azrak - you summed it up well. I have nothing against new players UNTIL they refuse to work as a team and listen/learn. At this point they are no longer a newb and become a NOOB...
There is a common misconception that skilled players can make up for new players shortcomings in this game, thereby balancing a team. 2 competent players vs 1 skilled and 1 new player will win as the competent player will win against the newb quickly and the skilled won't be able to win as quick due to the competent player knowing how to slow them down until help arrives...
