VirirdShaman here I would just like to pass down a tip that was passed down to me by Cerulean_Shaman who got this tip passed down to him by Saigex.Capture Lock is something people usually overlook though in the hands of someone who knows the mechanics of the game this nifty item can cause serious problems for the other team. Though some people may be asking just exactly does this item do? Well I'll tell you. Capture Lock prohibits a flag from being captured by anyone on the map for 45 seconds. Funny enough 45 seconds is all you need to cause havoc on the other side.Basically what you do is purchase two to three capture locks, two to three scrolls of teleporting and make your way down to the enemies portal flag. If your playing Erebus like I do just Bat Swarm pass the two towers right onto the flag to begin capturing it. Kill any creeps that might come out of the portal while you take it for some extra experience and gold. Once the flag is captured use a capture lock on it this will prohibit the other team from taking the flag back for 45 seconds losing out on a entire wave for the duration. After you captured the flag and placed the lock use a scroll of teleporting to teleport to the closet flag on your side on the other side of the map. Head to the second portal flag and repeat what you did to the first one. This will lock out the team from any creeps for a couple of seconds which gives your own creeps time to push alongside you.Doing this caused my team to win in a recent 3v3. Though after a while the Oak we were going against starting using the same tacitic since it was working.
Here is a screenshot to show exactly how it is done. The image has been squished using the insert image option on the forums since the original size was 1024x768.

neat stuff. good tip. thanks for sharing.
This is even better when you have Giants.
I could see 2 people doing this to both spawns on Cataract being REALLY REALLY annoying, since they can perma lock both flags (spell lasts 45 seconds, cooldown is 45 seconds).
It's a game ender most of the time if the other time isn't on top of their game. At the very least it forces someone from their team to waste time recapping, which gives you time to push.
For added fun and flavor, tell your team to get warp scrolls and warp in on any demigods trying to recap it for easy ganks. Then you can put a new lock on it again and get ready to bait again.
