I love My color themes. I think the college themes and the NBA themes are the best. Why doesn't Stardock push to to expand the number of college schools they carry as themes. They should at least be carrying all the major conferences and their schools. No Oklahoma Sooners? No USC or UCLA? I'm not much of a hockey fan and I don't know that we are much of an NHL nation. But we love our NFL and MLB. I'm surprised they can't get on board with those two organizations. The themes are high quality and would provide great marketing for those two leagues. Stardock is pushing sales. Creating Football,Baseball and more college school themes could benefit everyone.
Just curious if anyone has a reasonable explanation. I've just heard the excuse about licensing. That wasn't much of an explanation considering they have quite a few of the Big 12 schools but not all of them. And if it's licensing,they're carrying the Texas Longhorns which is probably one of the most protected brands in the Big 12. I just haven't been able to get much of an answer from them when I've inquired in the past. I'd like to see more and wonder what everyone else would have to say on the matter.
I know I'd drop more money for the themes.

One other thing that I failed to mention is the free marketing these themes provide for Stardock. A lot of people and I mean a lot, have never heard of stardock or windowblinds. Rabid fans,and there are a lot,don't know that it's possible to theme a computer to your favorite school much less the ease with which it can be done and the minimal cost. My colors accomplish's so much for both the schools,fans and stardock that it would be foolish for something like a Mascott being licensed getting in the way. People come over to my house and marvel at my MU desktop. Then I show them how easy it is to switch it up to Texas,Gonzaga,WSU etc...and they go absolutely crazy. They all want the product.
I think Stardock should really push to get it out there. And if you know Florida Gators fans like I do,you'd understand why. There wouldn't be a Gator fan alive caught without owning the Stardock Gator theme. It's great stuff. Thats what it is. I'd really be surprised if I walked into any athletic office of any school USA and didn't see Stardock themes on all the computers....if they knew about the product.
I have known a number of Aggies and T-sips that have bought their schools themes. The Harley themes are wicked cool too.
