Hi! everyone, I have a simple question, what was the first PC game that you have played and loved?
For me it was Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty.
It was way back in 1993 (cant believe its been already 16 years) on my IBM 486 with all 4MB of ram. Since that time I have played over a 100 PC games, but I was wondering what was other people's gaming debut. Feel free to elaborate on the subject (what year, at home, at a friend, how much you paid).
My first game ever was Manic Miner on ZX Spectrum.
I think the first game I'd played on a computer was probably Oregon Trail on a TRS-80 (school)
First game I purchased was Dungeon Escape for the TRS-80 after I bought a TRS-80 Model I w/ Cassette tape
PC Game? Probably Empire. The PC was a shitty game machine for a long, long time. There's a reason why Atari/Commodore/Apple had a good chunk of the home PC market up into the late 80's
This on the Commodore64.
Brings back fond childhood memories
My first PC game was Overload, and my 2nd was MOO. After all this time, I still like space games the best.
Ultima 6!
I'd had an amiga up until then
