1) Sins! Can't get enough of it!

3) Empire: Total War PAWNS!
1. Demigod - Have had nothing but great times with the beta, balance issues aside.
2. Duke Nukem Forever - C'mon man, git 'r done!
3. Diablo 3 - been playing Blizzard games since Warcraft 2 - go ahead and flame me, but their games are fun!
1. Modern Warfare: 2 - CoD4 is the best multiplayer FPS I've ever played. The multiplayer more than makes up for the short single player mode. I'm hoping MW:2 will be even better.
2. Starcraft 2 - Starcraft is the best RTS ever made in my mind. Did you know it has a single player mode in addition to multiplayer? Starcraft 2 is looking like its keeping the feel of the original while improving upon the formula that made the game so fun to play in the first place. Blizzard is also making the game largely data driven, which should mean it'll be easily modded.
3. Elemental: War of Magic Beta or Dragon Age: Origins - I needs my fantasy fix! I'd even trade one of Annatar's kidneys for beta access to Elemental! Its way past due for a good Might and Magic style game.
I really enjoy the way Bioware weaves storylines into their games and it looks like Dragon Age: Origins will be no different. The mask reveal in KOTOR was epic. Hopefully DA:O will hold me over until Mass Effect 2.
Anywho those are my picks. I'd also like to repeat:

probably Dragon Age:Origins, Divinity 2:Ego Draconis, and I'm not sure about the third. Maybe D3 or Alan Wake.
Sins, Dragon Age: Origins, Jumpgate Evolution (do MMOs count?).
I'm actually really looking forward to Jumpgate, it might finally be a good space-themed MMO that's a bit lighter than EVE (great in its own right, but not quite the type of game you jump into and just shoot crap for a little bit).
There would be more competition to the list if it wasn't restricted to this year only. Diablo 3, Elemental, Mass Effect 2 being the next 3 contenders.
BF 1943 sounds horrible to me
Low player limit, a few maps (most from 1942) and no unlocks. Its meant for consoles as DLC and I don't see why its coming to PC... or being made at all
I'll have to look into Jumpgate that Anny mentioned. Ever since I quit WoW I've been itching for another MMO (and I've tried EvE, I hate it )
For me it would probably Sins, Garry's mod, and TF2 (or Demigod... I'd flip a coin if I had to decide )

3.) Not sure, I have heard some good things about Dragon Age: Origins, but if it's published by EA then I'm not going to buy it (unless they use something more sensible like GOO for their DRM). Maybe I'll go with CoD:MW2.
1. GalCiv2. If it has to be a specific title, Dark Avatar.
2. Chess. The old board game against real people, that is.
3. Almost anything on the WII with my grand nieces and grand nephews.
1- X-Com:UFO Defense; in a dosbox, tactical gameplay so tight & immersive i'd still kick weirdly imaginative Aliens off the Earth again and again.
2- cEvo; open-source version that bares some ressemblance to Civ2 or Civ3, but goes waaaaaayyyy beyond strategy in terms of non-simulation & deterministic *perfection* since all AIs for it are provided by external modular Client/Server code & some real programmers individually. THAT way nobody can claim having a better or worst Algorithm than even commercial games for many reasons such as unlimited potential. Let's see if you are really smart by compiling a dll worth playing against; right now, Seti030 can beat the crap out of a few more... including the occasional challenge of Civ-S or Crystal.

I've almost exclusively played Sins on the PC for the last year.
Just the Gal Civ 2 Ultimate for those quiet nights when Sins is not happening (Australian nights <> US/Europe prime time)
So those two are on the list.
Not sure what #3 would be - was thinking about TW:Empire, but have been put off with how poorly the demo ran on my PC (Q6600, 8GB, 3870X2, Vista Ultimate 64). Plus all the bugs that people are reporting...

Fine... new games Dragon age origins... (EA dont screw over Bioware)..., Battlefield 1943 (they should scrap the developement of the free BF the copy off team fortress and just make BF3), andddd..... Empire total war but I need to get my new pc first.
