1- You need Google Earth to participate.
2- The location must belong to your own past, work, vacation... absolutely no OBVIOUS personal details.
2a- Or as stated from May additional rules ; Where do you wish to go in the future, for vacations, Historical places, Museums, Wonders... for a quick visit. Anything for any reasons. Hints & Locations unlimited.
3- To earn the right of submitting the next clue for yourself, you MUST identify the buildings_city_address (etc) of the currently unknown place to the person who linked the image. Once confirmed, you win the right for #4 below.
4- You must provide "easy or not" hints for your own. I'd highly recommend Time Zones, minimum.
5- Altitude must not exceed 1km or below 250m. (Mine is at 303 meters)
6- Don't forget to hide the coordinates from us, bottom left!
Here's the first;
I worked on the 15th floor of that skyscraper as a financial advisor from May 75 to October 77. The red arrow points to my office window.
-5GMT.
Where is it? Street & number.
I'm going to give you this one so confirmed
however ther river is Klamath River not Link thats the name of one of the falls, I was hoping people would get confused with crater lake.
One thing is certain, WE deserve our Karma Point here... without the geothermal hint i wouldn't have ever found this city!
Here's a strange but challenging "set", probably;
Building; We call it the gigantic U.F.O... but it's a cinema complex. I'll be right there sometimes in May to watch the upcoming Star Trek film by JJ Abrams. Strange name too.
Institutional; My ex-wife worked there in a specific carreer domain. In what general area?
Shopping Malls & Commerces; Huge, indicated by the tiny yellow bags. Name it.
Street; In November '04, CBC Greatest Canadian context was won through popular phone/web voting by Tommy Douglas. This street is named after the runner up - tell me his name what he became famous for.
Tourist Attraction; This "tower" is a proportional replica of a rocket that serves as a promotional element for a Space Camp for kids. Name the place and which rocket.
Highway Number; at the bottom.
Urban area? Island.
Not in Newfoundland or PEI either. A *MUCH* smaller island.
# will allow you to drive to TWO International Airports, one is far North the other slightly southwest of it.
I know that place, its hard when you dont know what to look for,
Here's a few tips:
Country starts with a C, Province starts with a Q, City with a L, HWY 15
Okay.... one answer is right, five more to go.
Famous Players Cinema
Law
Centropolis Complexe
Terry Fox, He became famous for the Marathon of Hope, a cross-Canada run to raise money for cancer research, which Fox ran with one prosthetic leg. He is considered one of Canada's greatest heroes of the 20th century and is celebrated internationally every September as people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world's largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research.
cosmodome, space shuttle "endeavor"

Partially, but close enough!
The Colossus is owned by Famous Players, true!
Arianne is a satellite launcher rocket, real ones are deployed from Kouru in the French_Guyana.
So confirmed... You've got the next!
Ok. Here's a hard(er) one. Hints available upon request..... if I feel like it. Before he came to the States, a friend of mine from school lived here:
Interesting, this looks to be in a "Tropical forest" region and some of these houses have a backyard pool!
Outside the USA makes it a lot harder but i don't think there's that many countries with roads such as what is shown bottom left.
May take awhile without at least a GMT reference.
No GMT reference yet, but I will tell you that it is not in our side of the world (Noth, South, & Central America).
Sooooo... any other hint for the upcoming weekend?
Just in case i find a few hours of zooming in at a Country or Continent!
Considering i'd have to determine which pixel the above represents out of 25,920,000(7200x3600) on 3mins equirectangular maps of the entire Earth surface. I can guess, but we're not *THAT* patient.
Latitude or Longitude?
No, but I will tell you that if my friend had been caught with cocaine, heroin, or marijuana, he would in all liklihood been hanged.
Not enough, that makes at least 10+ different countries in Asia or Africa.
Mount Pleasant Dr, Singapore.
Want the exact street number for that particular house?
Of course. Not gonna make it EASY. If there IS one, that is..... it shows up on a search for the location, by my version at least doesn't have it easily listed... I'll check back when I learn if it's even possible.
Actually, considering that I couldn't find the house number on the web and I knew the number, I'm going to let you go with just the street. Confirmed as 27 Mount Pleasant Drive, Singapore, Singapore, and awaiting next hunt.
That house number wasn't available here either!
Now, i think it's time for a twist of basic principles for this thread.
We got some of the "personal" stuff out of the way... here are the new rules for the upcoming hunts;
-- Where do you wish to go in the future, for vacations, etc.
-- Historical places, Museums, Wonders... for a quick visit.
-- Anything for any reasons. Hints & Locations unlimited.
-- Still 250m to 1km altitude gaps and insert any "symbolic" tags you think might help participants or not!
Example; You'd snap a Google image of the Gizeh plateau in Egypt and ask who's buried in the bigger Pyramid, when the construction happened, etc.
Next hunt image, probably tomorrow - i need time to think it over.
Something weird happened there...
Where, what, when & by Who?
Southern hemisphere?
Indonesia area have not ben able to figure the island
Further East...
