so, I've been attempting to register my sins of a solar empire, and I keep getting denied when I try to enter my serial number
I've tried to change the zeros to "O's" and everything, but nothing is working, anyone know how to resolve this issue, or just a way for me to circumvent it?
Joaquin83: Could you be more specific? What is happening/not happening? Are you getting any errors, and if so what are they? What are your computer's specs?
This Joaquin83 Again I downLoad The Sins Of Solar Empire Bundle and the game did not work!.And I hope i can DownLoad the game again free!.Because i paid on my visa card Last Time!.
Unfortunately, saying "the game did not work" is not enough information be able to help fix whatever is happening. PLEASE be more detailed, so I can have a better chance of helping you.
Hey, So I thought I would let you guys know that I am having the same problem as the OP. When I try to register my retail-bought sins of a solar empire on impulse, I get a ref: 204 error, saying that it isnt recognizing my serial number or email address. I have double and triple checked my game's code, and I know that impulse is recognizing it correctly because when I type it in, "Sins of a Solar Empire" appears on the registration page. I dont know what the problem is, but I bought entrenchment and diplomacy and I really hope I didnt waste those 20 dollars, as It appears as though I cant install those games until my original Sins game is registered. Also, I tried using my email address, both of my brother's email addresses and my parent's email address. None of them worked.
Hi.
Got problem with my key to Sins, it says its invalid. Got it off as promo code from computer magazine website. It was ok, but when I`ve made format and reinstalled the whole impulse it says the key is wrong
There was a magazine that was distributing Sins serials without proper permission and all of those serials were revoked.
Same stupid gay,problem...ive updated this game before, now it wont let me.
Oh btw ive tried my other email address and spams me the same crap.
I can update my Galactic CivsII
If the game has bugs then under EU law the product is defined as "Unmerchantable quality" I cant update,so can I have refund please or do i have to file private prossecution under civil code?
Last time I ever buy STARDOCK PRODUCT!

And that's a ban. Try being more civil if you actually want assistance.
I have a similiar problem. Long time ago I bought Base Sins Retail. Then later I had to get Impulse to patch it. No problem for me. When it came out i bought Entrenchment too. Then... I got a new computer. And had to reinstall Impulse. But in the My Games List there was only Base Sins left. I didn't keep the E-Mail with my Entrechnment code... so i just bought it again... and it worked. Then I bought Diplomacy... and it worked as well. Today now, my harddrive failed. I replaced it and installed Impulse again. Now I have 4 Games in the My Games List.
Entrenchment, Diplomacy, Fort Zombie and Galactic Civ 2. Fort Zombie is okay, I bought that too. BUT. I never registered Gal Civ 2 on my Impulse. I have it, yes. But I never had it on my Impulse. PLUS Where is my Base Sins? I tried to reactive it on my Impulse Account using the one and only Sins Serial I ever had. The one i registered on Impulse Ages ago. But now it says the Key is invalid... what ... is ... happening?
HakwinsJo, your best bet will be to email us at support@stardock.com and include any email addresses you may have used with us previously so we can merge your accounts together.
I had a similar problem with SoaSE Trinity, and I found a workaround. Anyone still experiencing the problem should at least try this, it might help:
Problem: You've tried to register your valid serial over impulse and it didn't work?
Solution: Enter your game the standard way, go to "Ironclad Online" and "Create Account"
You will be prompted to enter your serial key, go ahead....oh, and nevermind the fact that some bug might turn the last character of your key into *space*, accept it anyway.
Congratulations, your account has been created and you have been sent an e-mail with a activation link that connects your stardock and impulse identity.
Hope it works for you, or anyone reading this topic in the future. (i myself found it on google as the first link)
ive
I bought Sins of the Solar Empire Trinity a few days ago and was getting the invalid registration code.
Support sent me this which did work to get Impulse loaded and the game registared:
You may download Impulse here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe . Once Impulse is installed it will give you the option to create a Stardock.net account if you haven't already. If you already have an account, but forgot the password, Impulse also will give you the option to retrieve your account information. Once you've logged in, and Impulse finishes any additional updates needed, you can now go under the appropriate tab in Impulse and select your product and click 'Install' to install it. If you bought your software directly through the Stardock or Impulse store, the registrations will be added automatically into Impulse. If you have a retail bought title and need to register, click on the help icon in the upper right of the Impulse interface (the one that looks like a blue circle with a question mark) and select "Register a product with Impulse". Once on the registrations page, in the bottom right, click the 'Add Registration' button. In the Window that appears, enter your serial number (Remember all serials use letters A-F and numbers 0-9. Dashes in the serial number are important and must be included), followed by your e-mail you used to create your Stardock.net account, the product category and the product name (If you serial is recognized, these last 2 will be auto filled). Click 'Add Registration' button and you've registered your product. This will register the software to your account, and get you the latest updates to your product, as well as keep track of the serial number if you ever need to install again.
I did this and still no reply back from them, it been more than 2 days
I tried this and did not work, what else can i try.. It still said invalid registration. also after I signed up it took me straight to the SOSET web site and needed me to put in my registration number, of course it still did not work
I have tryed everything that Stardock has told me to do and nothing is not working i really would love to play this game updated, seems i cannot this blows
Too painful, long winded and your support is useless!
So is the impulse system, your forum and way of going about things. You insult us paying customers and then you expect us to respect and put up with your shit. NOT IN THIS LIFETIME and never, ever going to buy another of your products and have uninstalled the Impulse system and using a hacked copy to be able to play the game I paid for without the ridiculous issues you impose on us!
The hassles and lack of support are just not worth my time or money. I'll just buy a retail box instead.
BTW: Did I mention your impulse system is completely and utterly #@%$@
I have this exact same problem, or at least I think so.
I bought SoaSE Trinity a couple of months ago, got the serial and it worked. I've been playing for quite some time now. However, I live with several siblings who also use the computer, and since I only had impulse on one computer, I had decided to install it on another so that I could play the game on one of the other PCs in the house.
However, upon installing it, the only game it listed under "My Games" was Prometheus, which I had indeed installed sometime after Sins. However, I couldn't find Sins, and when I emailed for the serial to be sent back to me, it only had the serial for Prometheus listed. So I went to the PC which I had originally installed Sins, and checked it, and sure enough, it was still there, registered and all. So I wrote down the serial code and went to "Register Product".
However, when I punched the code in (I was sure to leave out the "-"), it said, and I quote, "The serial number you have entered is not recognized by Impulse. Only serial numbers provided by Stardock will be accepted. Please check your selected product, email address and serial number, then try again (ref: 2)" And so I did, about six times - and each time, I got the same error message. I don't know what to do here.
Typhylo: Send the serial number to support@stardock.com with any email addresses you have, and we'll see if we can set things straight for you. Most of these issues arise from different email addresses being used for the purchase and the account. If you know the email addresses, and have access to both, you can use our merge tool to merge the registrations together to one account.
I am currently having the same problem and have absolutely no idea what is wrong any help would be greatly appreciated.
I did have it registered once before and had it completely updated but my computer crashed and all of my files were wiped clean. I don't know if this has something to do with it since Impulse recognizes my serial number has already been used once or what, but I have been the only user of the game and really want to update it...
Nevermind I just figured out my problem I had two different e-mails merged under one account name and didn't know it.
star Ducks suck omfg so much i buy that game no serial key to play omfg bad company
same problem
