The expanse of the northern pole region lay out before the obsidian palace of the Chaplain-Court. Jannat al'-Adn, as it is known, is nothing like the eden spread across the surface of New Ravion. It's surface, riddled with the signs of volcanic activity, appears flash-frozen as if stopped at the moment of activity. Icy arcs exist in the place of magma surges; dense gases from geysers are ceased in mid air. This cold environment of dying, made in the image of the Emperor, will kill anyone attempting to travel through it's frozen mazes.
Firaeon rested against the barricades in the wake of an open roof. He stared inquisitively at the surrounding lands, before turning to Cere, the Judge Magister of Earth;
Cere said to Firaeon: "This new world, this Messiana, what is it like? Are there cities and forests of pardon, as we are told, or is it shifted to a darker period. Am I welcome there, or will I appear as but an illusion and fall with time. Do they follow our faith, or is their judgement yet to come, brother."
So Firaeon thought about this, and said: "It is surely shifted to chaos, as their gates never opened for many. You will be praised and worshiped there as it's legacy commands. Their Korbanot burns their skin, they will never know their Third Temple, as they say they will. It is lost forever and they will never know it again. If we stay faithless, we will fall and it will exterminate us, and we must yet descend into the Divine Comedy for Heofon."
WARNING: This may not make much sense, but there are loads of references to religion here (It's not finished either).
The Undying.
What? I opposed your warplane plans too. It would be unfair to give someone specifically an exception to a rule.
Have a go with this: http://www.advancewarsnet.com/designmaps/editor.php
could have sworn you had accepted my reasoning behind the initial trillion because over the course of 100 years without resupply they fell down to 2% of maximum.
if you want i can have her go out in a blaze of glory engaging in combat with the stryka clan.
What you do with the ship is your choice via de facto. BTW, it's the Styrka Clan.
Jade Minister
The mysterious political leader of the Gatekeepers, unchallengable ninjitsu master and one of the most intelligent people in the whole galaxy. As a legend, he unified the entire planet of Gateway by himself, liberating a million people from the oppressive factions at the time, yet has a heart of cold jadestone and killed his own son to get to his current position. He is the only ninja believed capable of truly vanishing from visible light without the help of ninjitsu techniques or technology. His real identity is not known.
I've compiled some statistics for each of the races, showing the strengths and weaknesses of each. BTW, some of these races don't exist since the cataclysm.
Aradians
The Aradian people, or more broadly the Aradian Empire, are an ancient nation holding sovereignty over the entire western half of the universe. They were created by the mythical Ucori, the last surviving God Race, with a mysterious purpose known only by those gods and the Aradians themselves. The Ucori watch over their children eternally, intervening only during the very gravest of dangers to their existence.
Strengths
The Aradians are devout servants of their aristocratic leaders and the Ucori. They compensate for their lack of physical ability by wielding divine power, channeled against their enemies through prayer and penance. Their society is held together by a tight bond of trust and loyalty that shows on the battlefield, a factor which is now the fear of their opponents. Their intelligence is also above average, despite not making them adaptable.
Weaknesses
The Aradians are not much without their faith. They lack strength, athleticism and dexterity meaning they can be beaten easily in a fight. This physical handicap also makes them highly unadaptable to a changing situation or environment, in particular landscapes, and they don't thrive even on homeground.
Faeros
The Faeros are, in a sentence, furious balls of fire. They are driven, vengeful and only partially sentient, eager to throw themselves against an opponent at first sight, hoping their resourcefulness and anger will pull them through. They live in the center of stars, a home they will defend to the last reckless instinct.
On the charge, the Faeros are truly unstoppable. They are strong, extremely athletic and highly adaptable, therefore an opponent is unlikely to last a second toe-to-toe. They are very focused around destructiveness and flashy strikes.
The Faeros lack many of the qualities that characterise other races. They are difficult to trust, making Faeros factions rare and small, and they lack intelligence. They are so reckless that they sometimes attack their own kind by mistake. In a long fight, a Faeros is very weak due to lack of dexterity and poor skill with weapons. The whole of a Faeros attack strategy relies on a clumsy yet fatal first move, which sometimes doesn't work leaving the Faeros open to attack and certain death.
Flaming Ninjas
The Flaming Ninjas are a predominantly human elite gathering of warriors from across the galaxy. Members undergo rigorous physical training and weapon specialisation, creating soldiers who are blindly loyal to their leaders, but rather dumb and dependant at heart. They crusade for galactic liberty, staring in the face of unchallengable adversity and somehow emerging victorious. Sometimes considered demigods for their ownership of an entire universe.
Flaming Ninjas are calm and powerful ninjitsu professionals. They would lay down their lives for their leaders at a word. Their training makes them highly athletic and dexterous, perfect assassins capable of killing an average soldier easily. They are probably the closest that humanity will ever come to matching the combatants of the Saiv Empire in terms of physique.
The run-of-the-mill soldier of the Flaming Ninjas is blatantly dumb. They have difficulty with anything other than using a weapon, and while this makes them brilliant soldiers, they cannot operate without a high command and cannot work through a situation independantly. They also have no specific strength to use in times of need.
Humans
The most diverse and adaptable race in the entire known universe, humans are innovative, driven and instinctive. Being the majority, they take a leading role in matters social, political and economic. They tend to be fiercely expansionist, never satisfied with what they already own, bringing both glory and greed with them to distant worlds.
Out of all the races in the known universe, humans are the most adaptable. They call a massive variety of landscapes home, from frozen tundras to scorching deserts, and by one way or another thrive in all of them. Their strength and dexterity, combined with their intelligence, makes them good all-round in terms of combat. They also adapt quickly to an opponent in battle, negating the effectiveness of varied techniques.
Like having few strengths, humans have few weaknesses. Their only real weakness is their loyalty, as they sometimes betray their leaders for personal gain. This can have a bad effect on team cohesion.
I've still got 6 more races to put down. If you have your own races, please post up their stats as numbers, their background, their strengths and their weaknesses and I'll happily add them. Remember that stats must total up as 30.
you might want to post which faction uses which races stats
The Shadow of Intent dropped out of hyperspace just outside of visual range of Alta Hathuras, the Autumn's Glory close behind. Both ships immediately slammed reverse thrust to maximal to avoid ramming a huge, looming ship in front of them.
Tal'anth immediately jumped on the comm link, "This is the Yaarg corp ship Shadow of Intent! Clear this sector immediately or be fired upon!"
The reply came fairly quickly, "Shadow of Intent, this is the Infinite Sacrifice, stand down weapons, this is a military sector, and we are assigned this position."
"My apologies Infinite Sacrifice, I was told not to expect other military ships at Alta. What ships are here?"
"The Ascendant Justice is about two AU west by northwest. She's the only other ship that rivals the Infinite Sacrifice in size. there are ten or so cruisers, and fifty frigates distributed through the militarized zone near Alta. there are also twenty-four destroyers, four at each of the cardinal directions."
"Quite the defensive force. who they expecting to come aknocking?"
"Not a clue. but they wanted us stationed here, and we've been assigned temporary patrol duty. so we're stuck doing rounds while everyone else is out kicking back."
"I hear ya, Sacrifice, Shadow of Intent out."
"Infinite Sacrifice out."
Tal'anth contacted Autumn's Glory, "Glory, this is the Shadow of Intent, how did you weather that decell?"
The Glory replied, "It didn't do any real damage, as far as we can see. The drive might be a bit out of line, but that we can fix once we're in port."
"Alright, Follow us to the planet and we can split when our time comes."
"Roger that, we are on your tail."
the Shadow turned away from the Sacrifice and accelerated towrad the planet at a slow speed. The Autumn's Glory followed suit, sticking so close to the Shadow, that their DRADUS return sometimes showed as one ship. When they near geosync orbit, the Glory broke off and turned toward a supply depot with a final farewell.
The Shadow of Intent established geosynchronous orbit and contacted the local Yaarg Headquarters.
"You have been assigned to accompany the Ascendant Justice on a shakedown run, to let the crew get to know their ship better. You will also be accompanied by four resupply and repair tugs, which are to remain away from any fighting that may occur. the run will begin at 0600 tomorrow. HQ out."
"Roger that, HQ. Shadow of Intent out." Tal'anth glanced around at the bridge crew, who were all giving him questioning stares.
"What? I know nothing more about it than you do."
A few looked away, but the rest remained looking to him.
"Well? let's get the ship prepped for a patrol run. switch crew shifts, too. Don't want it to be too boring."
The crew jumped into action, now focused on their work instead of the task ahead. Tal'anth went "belowdeck" even though he really just went through a doorwaym where he found his quarters, where he crashed for the night to wait until morn.

Illuminati
Illuminati is a term that refers to those gifted mortals with the power to control time. It is thought they were given their power by Timewights so that they could act as substitutes in their absense, but most have now abandoned that purpose and use their powers more generically. Despite their abilities, their physique is debilitated by the energy needed to use them. Naturally, clans and leagues started to develop among them, each empowering it's members and training them in various strategies, the most well-known of these being the intelligent Fluxbreakers, the steadfast LikerGuard and the fearful Valkyries.
Fluxbreakers
One of three well-known Illuminati clans, adaptable and intelligent warriors with an aptitude for deception and diplomacy. They are feared for their pre-emptive espionage and infilitration of rival clans, sometimes tearing a clan apart before they can even fight back, but lack a little in face-to-face combat. They are currently in an underground 'state of war' with their long-time rivals, the Valkyrie and the LikerGuard. Their primarch is the witty yet mysterious Illuminati known as Fluxa.
↑ Fluxa
LikerGuard
A powerful Illuminati clan, infamous in the Styrka Clan criminal underground and second only in strength to the feared Valkyrie Clan. Members are trained to maintain their physique at the expense of self-awareness, making them untouchable face-to-face, yet vulnerable to stealth encounters. They are good allies of the Gatekeepers ever since they spared their Clan from annihilation at the Third Battle of Nodhan. They fiercely oppose the Valkyrie and the Fluxbreakers - the latter especially. Their primarch is the brave and dexterous Illuminati known as Likera.
↑ Likera
Valkyries
A massively powerful Illuminati clan, feared and respected across the galaxy for their loyalty, merciless nature and wide understanding of their divine power. Though they lack a little in adaptivity, they hold the strength of the LikerGuard combined with an extensive knowledge of time power, making their members virtually immortal. Other Illuminati clans are hesitant to fight them and careful not to incur their wrath, lest they be annihilated. Their primarch is Valkyrie himself, mighty and god-like Illuminati who overpowers all else, rivalling even the Timewights.
↑ Valkyrie
Primarchs
The Primarchs are legendary Illuminati that many powerful Illuminati clans claim heritage from. It is common for a clan leadership to transform into a dynasty claiming descendance from the clan Primarch. Primarchs are often cited as the manifestation of the principles of the clan, and though many are probably either dead or disappeared, and though there is little proof of their very existence, some clans would worship their Primarch as a god should they ever be seen.
What does the Divinity stat mean for the races
Divine basically refers to something that is god-like, or made of godly material. Races with high divinity stats can use it for combat, channeling their power against their opponent. Most races are only slightly divine, considering they were all created by God Races, but they are either unaware or too weak to channel it.
Oh did you know that the Ildiran were highly religous strong believers and have telepathy thism network between all of them. The noble class have the highest sensitivity, meaning the leader will have ultimate contol and can talk telpathicly to his subordinate and sometimes talk telepathicly to other races (Hydrogue) especialy when bred with human green priests.
If you propose new stats for them, I'll have a look at it. As you already know, stats must add up to 30.
two (ish) questions for Doombringer:
one, are the V'taren allied/friendly with the Yaarg?
and two, just how willing to share their tech if they are allies?
Thirteen hours later, the Shadow of Intent's engines throttled up, pushing the oversized cruiser toward the edge of the planet's influence. A star grew brighter as they flew toward it, eventually revealing itself to be a knife-edged ship, like two flat obsidian sheets put at a ninety-degree cross with several supporting braces and tapering to a point at both ends.
The Ascendant Justice sat motionless against a starry background, a black void in a field of lights. The Assault Ship's engines pulsed with a soft, light blue glow as the they ticked over. The Shadow of Intent's shadow from the sun fell across the dark hull of the Justice, a darker spike shape with an open loop at the "flat" end of the spike, and the glow of engines at the point.
"Ascendant Justice, this is your escort, Shadow of Intent. We are ready to engage hyperdrive, once we receive the coordinates."
"Shadow of Intent, copy that. The tugs have already rendevoused with us. Relaying coordinates to your navigational computer... now."
"Thank you, Justice. We are ready to jump when you are."
"Roger. Initiating jump in 3...2...1... JUMP!"
The universe disappeared and was replaced by an oscillating field of blue.
On the bridge, Tal'anth asked the nav officer, "what's our ETA?"
"Three and a half days." she replied.
"What? Where are we headed?"
"A point near V'tar, about thirteen AU away."
"This is no shakedown run..."
Trust is very rare in the 48th century, so the chances on this are unlikely.
It's quite obvious this is going to boil down to the progress of a team of protagonists, like last time. All major characters will definately be included, and maybe a few Gatekeeper companions with the Gatekeeper protagonist. Firaeon is integral to the storyline, especially at the end, so he will be part of the team. Likera is de facto allied with the Gatekeepers, so he will join them possibly with Fluxa too.
As for antagonists, Valkyrie and his clan legions will be a major obstacle, probably requiring the intervention of Timewights. The Styrka Clan will also be opposing the protagonists - Okrossbar especially. Other antagonists may also appear as the story progresses.
To promote some action, let's say the LikerGuard and the Fluxbreakers happen to be exchanging broadsides near here.
The regular clan member of either side has the power to blow up a car, while the more powerful members can destroy suburban housing or anything of equivalant mass. The top members can bring down entire city blocks. Most members are armed with 'enchanted' rifles, but superiors are given staffs, swords, throwing knives etc.
4732
In an unprovoked act of aggression, President-general Okrossbar of the Styrka Clan has consecutively invaded the TerraLeca Commonwealth, Ildamon Coreguard and V'taren Cybrate, seizing a large amount of industrial territory and two key planets in the process. The Styrka Clan hopes to continue it's drive into Ildamon territory. Seeing their chance to get revenge on society in general the Gatekeepers have attacked Whyte, seizing both the planet and the territory surrounding it. With it's military in tatters, the TerraLeca Commonwealth calls out for aid from other factions.
Wale and Kaen
Two Saiv cousins aged 653 (32) and 741 (37) respectively, both currently working as elite military commissars of the LikerGuard. Their race known only to themselves (concealed behind black gloves and opaque sunglasses), Wale and Kaen are descended from a Chaplain-Court Judge and an Imperial Inquisitor respectively, and are likely the last of their kind. Their parents and extended family are unknown. They are free spirited travellers, and though they are trusted by the leaders of the LikerGuard, they will probably abandon them at the first profitable opportunity. They recklessly pursue tip-offs, clues, signs etc. that may lead to the discovery of other pureblood members of their race, whenever and wherever they become apparent.
I'm going to write up a scene focused around these two. Yes, it is quite an ironic statement.
come to think of it... that is true. they should be inhuman
I originally planned the Ashi to be a predominantly human splinter faction of the UGA, like the Vetaron Confederacy. If they're going to be inhuman, you should propose some stats for them.
here, these add to thirty, methinks.
strength 3dexterity 6 loyalty 5athleticism 3intelligence 5divinity 2adaptability 6
You can add one more to total it to 30.
fixed it.
Divinity: this is abnormal powers, etc. like telekinesis and pyrokinesis, right?
In short, yes.
The single divinity value on most races simply indicates their descendance from their respective God Races. A divinity stat of 2 would require something more than this, such as ownership of an alternative universe or leadership by a demigod.
Reapers
"Death? Death has just begun for you." - Reaper
Demons born of the blood of Ucori slaughtered during the wars in heaven. Aeons ago, they freely roamed from universe to universe, claiming the lives of mortals to satiate their blood thirst. The Timewights eventually caught up with them, and considering mortals were overpopulating the multiverse, chose to let them go on the condition they would control the population - by claiming mortals when they met their fate. They normally remain invisible to mortals, choosing instead to watch over them, especially when they are in danger of death.
So The Ashi are weak but magical(divinity),able to do stuff with the mind(dextirety),and adaptible like humans ok.
sounds good.
DEXTIRITY WOULD BE LIKE MIND CONTROL AN SUFF RIGHT?bcuz that what dextirety means.
1: mental skill or quickness : adroitness
Sybertronic.
No, dexterity refers to how speedy a race is with their fingers. The term 'dexterities' refers to fingers.
With a divinity stat of two, the Ashi aren't powerful enough to use powers on their own initiative. Their powers are most likely defensive, surfacing only in extreme danger. The Saiv are one stat higher but can also only call upon their powers in dire need, however their powers are both offensive and defensive. Races such as the Aradians have a higher divinity stat, meaning they can call upon powers at will but only during periods of great faith. Races such as the Illuminati (the clans especially) can tap into fearful amounts of power at will, regardless if they're religious or athiest. Divine beings such as Timewights are charged with terrifying amounts of power, but they need it since their other stats are very weak.
