The expanse of the northern pole region lay out before the obsidian palace of the Chaplain-Court. Jannat al'-Adn, as it is known, is nothing like the eden spread across the surface of New Ravion. It's surface, riddled with the signs of volcanic activity, appears flash-frozen as if stopped at the moment of activity. Icy arcs exist in the place of magma surges; dense gases from geysers are ceased in mid air. This cold environment of dying, made in the image of the Emperor, will kill anyone attempting to travel through it's frozen mazes.
Firaeon rested against the barricades in the wake of an open roof. He stared inquisitively at the surrounding lands, before turning to Cere, the Judge Magister of Earth;
Cere said to Firaeon: "This new world, this Messiana, what is it like? Are there cities and forests of pardon, as we are told, or is it shifted to a darker period. Am I welcome there, or will I appear as but an illusion and fall with time. Do they follow our faith, or is their judgement yet to come, brother."
So Firaeon thought about this, and said: "It is surely shifted to chaos, as their gates never opened for many. You will be praised and worshiped there as it's legacy commands. Their Korbanot burns their skin, they will never know their Third Temple, as they say they will. It is lost forever and they will never know it again. If we stay faithless, we will fall and it will exterminate us, and we must yet descend into the Divine Comedy for Heofon."
WARNING: This may not make much sense, but there are loads of references to religion here (It's not finished either).
The Undying.
I was not aware of this, so I stopped typing, cut & pasted it here, and now I start...
*in Universe 2, Cryxis and his crew upon the Battleship Dengora are about to reach the black hole mentioned by the Gaabratska Merchant Pa-Toa.*
Yin: "I hope that Gaabratska Merchant is right about this. If he lured us into a trap, I'll kill him after I'm dead. 'Do not seek revenge upon those who do not seek conflict.' Yeah, unless you're already dead!...are you even listening to me, Cryx?"
Cryxis: "heh....no..."
Yin: "Once we're out of this mess, I'm gonna slap you upside the head!"
Hope...
Heh...That word again. A word that lead a once great civilization - scratch that, many civilizations - to it's inevitable destruction. Hope...is nothing more than a dream. A fluke. A lie....and a bedtime story my father used to tell me before I went to sleep...a time when...things did not look as bleak as it does today.
Many years ago, a war ended between all the civilizations of this galaxy. My father, and his grandfather, single-handedly ended that war, and soon after, galactic peace. If only it were as simple as that, now...
A few years later, the Ildiran discovered a strange artifact: a DarkGate. A trans-galactic, trans-universal device. Massive, dark ring. as if someone made it out of a black hole, which essentialy, it was. We had no idea who built it...untill they came...
I was in my room. 13 at the time. Starting to truly understand the Universe. Then, it happened. The DarkGate...opened.
Thousands, millions...billions of ships...came spewing out of this gate. immediately got to Earth and Theroc. Theroc never had a chance. Destroyed within minutes of this invasion...if you could call having half the UGA fall in a day "An invasion". No craft fired on Earth. Just a ship, the size of the moon, hovered just above. A monolith, great in size, dazzling, glistening, and absorbing the very light of the sun itself. It ate light. One black ship, a small transport, came onto the surface, just outside the capital building. A man with fiery-gold eyes and a long robe came out along with two guards -suprisingly unarmed. They wern't there to secure anything, just to watch the onslaught...
Everyone who carried a weapon was instantly reduced to ash. Everyone else, burned by the man with golden eyes. He reached my father's comm room. He was getting reports from all over: massive ships jumping into the gravity well- and that was it. Each tansmission immediately followed with static. My father told me to hide underneath one of the tables. A silly idea, especially when a man of that power was coming in to kill the inhabitants of the comm room. But there was no other choice, so I hid. He also told me once the people left, to immeniately find the nearest Surface-to-Space vehicle I could find, and escape the gravity well as fast as I could, never to stop. I...saw it in his eyes...desparation to save me, yet somehow it looked as if he had a plan...... we both knew...
...he wasn't going to make it...
...Thats when he showed up. I expected him to burn my father alive or desintigrate him like he did to the others, but...he just stood there. I got a good look at his eyes. Those burning eyes. He was determined, but for what? To kill us? No. That could not be. I saw his soul. It was pure fire: graceful, bright, everlasting, chaotic. His gaze pierced my father's. Both gazes did not stray apart for what seemed like forever. Then, my father...closed his eyes. The burning man pulled out a crystaline sword...
...and drove it into my father's heart...
My father slumped to the floor, and set on fire. I saw him burn, the Man with the Burning eyes watching. His gaze then turned to me...the frightened child. It felt like he was reading my soul. Like...he knew me. I felt my expression on my face turn from terrified...to hatered. This brought a smirk to his face.
"I can see the fire in his soul..."he said.
His subordinate then interrupted: "Firaeon, Sir, shouldn't we get back to the ship and purge this planet?"
".....yes"
...he said that so coldly. His smirk got wider. Firaeon...that name still circles my mind today. The Man with the Burning Gold Eyes...that bastard. He said nothing more, turned and walked away...
Then...everything was set on fire...
I ran out. The transport was just about leaving. The capital was now on fire. Each building, spire, everything like a forest fire. I then remembered what my father said. I remembered the personal transport that I usually took to Luna. I hopped in and ignited the fusion engines. I pushed the throttle to full power, exiting the atmosphere within seconds. The space towers were crashing towards Earth, the large Monolith-ship still looming ominously above Earth. The corse I set zoomed right by the command deck...where I saw him, Firaeon...
His hand was open, pointed at the Earth. My gaze met him a second time as my tansport zoomed across. It was all in slow motion...
...He opened his hand...cupped it as if grabbing a sphere, and crushed the imaginary sphere in his hand...
.....boom. There went Earth....
What was once a pallette of blue and white, was now a large, quickly spinning core with an immense shockwave of vapor, dust, and rock expanding outward. Earth...was gone.
And so was I. I hit the Hyperspace button and set a course to the farthest possible territory from the new enemy: The Tau'ri Nation.
I never stopped. I continued on, never stoping for any reason. For three months, I was in hyperspace, running, trying to make sense of what happened. I cried. for two weeks, I cried. I cried untill my tear ducts ran dry. Then I just cried blood. I have never cried since...
Subordinate: "Sir, we are about to enter the event horizon in three minutes
Cryxis: "hu-wha- oh! yes...um...prepare the crew for hyperspace. Charge jump drives, strap everyone down to their seats!"
Subordinate: "aye-aye, sir!!"
Once I reached the Tau'ri Homeworld, I learned their language, their food. four months later, a Flaming Ninja came with news...
The new enemy were called "the Saiv Empire", and they spanned more territory than the Hydrogue and Ildiran combined, and with four times as much population. The Ildiran emperor fled to his Galaxy, and Grandmaster Samureye was assasinated and has been prevented by some force on being re-encarnated. He was sent to me by Samureye's spirit in order for me to be sent to him to be trained as a Flaming Ninja. Five years in a Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Grandmaster Samureye, and I was released back outside as a high-ranking Flaming Ninja. I was gone for only one year in true time. However, the Saiv Empire captured as much territory as it would take the UGA to conquer in ten years. The UGA was eliminated, and with no home to go to, I became a mercenary, keeping peace in an unstable Northern Galactic Union.
A group of remenant UGA navy and marine forces formed a group called "The Milky Way Liberation Army". This was hardly an army, for they only had one ship: the UGAN Dengora, an Alistor-Class Battleship that was once captained by my father. I stumbled upon them trying to find a marauding space pirate, and they found out I was Cryxis. They asked me to become the leader of the MWLA, and I agreed. We took down the pirate, his men, and the Asteroid they inhabited, which had a SHITLOAD of gold and valuables.
After two years, I got a message from an FN that I was going to get a "Partner". A senior FN that has experience dealing with the Saiv. Yin was no problem, we got along well. At first, she did not like the prospect of having to be a mercenary, and she also had (and still has) a problem about saying quotes of samureye's and applying them to situations. She's not so bad in a fight. After all, she is a Flaming Ninja...
Then we got a job from the NGU, the rememnants of every galactic civilization united in order to survive. They gave us the biggest challenge of our lives: Kill the EmberFive
If we are succesful, we will be paid handsomely, along with half the riches the Saiv brought with them. Along with that, we shall have back all the territories of all the civilizations that the Saiv destroyed. Not going to be an easy job, but we accepted it anyways. I still want revenge against Firaeon, the man with burning eyes, for what he did. And the pay is good...I guess....
So here we are, 30 seconds from chancing a suicide run into a deadly Nebula, full of unstable stars and black holes...
Heh...what a way to start a story...
Subordinate: "We have reached the Event horizon!"
Cryxis: "Hyperspace, NOW!!!!"
*The Dengora is slingshotted into the Nebula....*
to be continued!
I shall copy and paste the previous post (before the new one):
*On the Desert Planet Gaabrat, home of the Gaabratska, a desert civilization within NGU space that revolves heavily on merchantism (also known as the Merchant Allience), A mysterious shadow lurks within the alleyways of Junar-ka, a mud-bricked city upon the surface of the barren wasteland. The shadowy figure walks into an adobe house. A gaabratska merchant emerges...*
Merchant: "Welcome, kind sir, welcome! We...have been expecting you. Our lookouts have been watching you since you got here, mr..."
Noob: "'Noob'...just call me noob..."
Merchant: "Ah-...very well, verrry well...so. I here you need something of value. Before I talk...the goods?"
*Noob opens the he has been carrying. A shower of gold credits shower onto the floor. The Gaabrat is awestruck...*
Noob: "I believe this will suffice...Now, what I want...is information. Information about the Saiv."
Merchant: "What!? Information on-....you're not planning to go past the Imperial line, are you?
Noob: "..."
Merchant: "Ha. Haha! Hahahahahahaha! Do you really want to die? Crossing that line has meant death for both the foolhardy and NGU forces! You cant possibly-"
*Noob throws the Gabrat Merchant against a wall. Guards rush in with guns aimed and readied on the intruder. Simultaneously, noob pulls out his bladerunner and activates it's blade*
Noob: "Information!!"
Merchant: ".....you really are determined to cross that line? hmmm.....guards! Shu-Ach mei shluboya! Weapons down!"
*the guards do as such Noob puts away the Laser blade/Laser gun, not letting go of the Merchant*
"Okay...I'll tell you. There's a nebula on the eastern side of the Imperial Border that is unguarded. It's a large, unoccupied nebula. Completly unstable, full of stars and many black holes. Only a few ships made it through alive, they were small craft belonging to the Saiv Empire. Citezen ships, probably just a bunch of kids racing, judging by reports. It is a very dangerous and unstable place, but it's still possible for a small craft to make it through, if you're skilled enough..."
Noob: "What about a large ship, say, a battleship-sized trade ship?"
"......Now you're just speaking craziness! T-there's no way-"
"You lie. I can tell. Tell me how to get through it. NOW!!"
"Okay okay! I would usually have the customer pay much more for so much information, especially for this high-end stuff, but I like you. Even though you got a freaking death wish...'sigh'...alright.
There is a path that runs straight through there that the Empire has yet to notice. It's called "The Hardon Run". It's an are with the least gravitational interference. Go into hyperspace immediately before you reach the event horizon of blackhole K-7292. Once you've jumped, and you have to time it perfectly or else you'll run into a star or black hole, exit hyperspace and turn your craft 122* to the right and 42* downwards relative to the MWP (Milky Way Plane) , ignoring the pretty, blinding lights before you, and re-enter hyperspace. Wait exactly, and I mean EXACTLY, 3 minutes and 46.2456432 seconds and jump out, and I MEAN that! Make sure you have your shields and blast shields up, because you're going to stop right in front of a yellow-white star. After that, it's all a matter of escaping the gravity well, and any Saiv forces that may be there."
"Thank you, kind Merchant."
*Noob pours more gold credits on the floor*
Pa-Toa: "No no, kind sir! Thank you very much! and please, call me Pa-Toa!"
*Noob walks outside, where a transport and a woman with black hair and shurikens on her belt stood.*
Woman: "So, Cryx. Did the dirty merchant get what he wanted? And how much did you give the Gaabratska?"
Cryxis: "Wait...oh ha ha.....get in, Yin"
Yin: " 'Greed does not bring happines, only the wrath of the gods' That Gaabratska may pay the ultimate price soon..."
Cryxis: "I swear, those sayings of GrandMaster Samureye are going to get on my nerves one of these days..."
Yin: "...If it didn't already, you would not be complaining right now, would you?"
Cryxis: 'grunt'
* The ship takes off, leaving the dusty adobe city and the wasteland planet it inhabited. A miracle anything was able to live here, let alone be the birthplace of the Gaabratska...*
At the moment that the Emperor created the Saiv race, he cleansed half the eastern half of the universe of all other races (humanity was created after this together with a handful of other races, including the Ildiran), and cursed that half of the universe to support only the Saiv species (again, not applying to certain races). At their peak, they owned the entire eastern half of the universe by right of the Emperor. To reverse the destruction of the races and to restore their empires is to oppose the Emperor himself, which is suicidal in every sense, as he is effectively omnipotent.
I'm only going to be role-playing the major Saiv characters e.g. Emperor, EmberFive, Demiel, Inquisitors etc. who will appear later in the story.
Magdiel, Colonel-Militant of the 32nd Armada of the Royal Fleet of the Saiv Empire, observed carefully the hyperspace fluctuation monitor on his control panel. A single waplane with a UGA signature was highlighted in orange; a few hours ago, his staff had simply discounted it as a mere scouting vessel, but what made it interesting was the fact that it had now passed the neutral zone, heading for the Edom system; near the Judah system and the Saiv naval base it contained. The Edom system was his home, and he tensed his claws at the thought of an attack, no matter how minor.
Subordinate: "I have a live transmission from the EmberFive, m'lord. They say it's confidential."
*The subordinate presented the comms device. Magdiel took it and placed the earpiece in his right ear.*
Magdiel: "...... aye, Of the Burning Worlds. It shall be done without fail... I understand."
*He removed the comms device and returned it to his subordinate. Magdiel raises his right hand and signals the fighter command to scramble.*
Magdiel: "The Unspeakable Fire commands the immediate capture of the crew of the scouting vessel in the Dis nebula. It is to be commandered to New Ravion and the Chaplain-Court, at-"
Subordinate: "M'lord, we have a confirmed ship dropping out of hyperspace!"
Magdiel: "Scramble our fighter capacity, prepare the flak cannons. Aim for the engines and weapons, to disable them. Their capture and survival is paramount, High Admiral!"
High Admiral: "Yes, m'lord."
*After the Dengora get on the other side of the nebula, nearly running into the star mentioned by Pa-Toa, They jump to the nearest star, Edom, where a Saiv ambush lied in wait...*
Cryxis: "Woah...didn't see that coming...."
Yin: "I told you to send a scout out before we jumped!!"
Subordinate: "Sir! Fighters incoming! Hundereds of them!"
Cryxis: "shit...Ron, ECM their fighters, launch all of ours! Flak cannons: Open fire!"
*Every fighter stops dead, drifting at the speed they were going. Somehow, Saiv Fighters are prone to a high EMP pulse, not sure why. The flaks and fighters mop up half the fighters before the others were back online...*
Rob: "There's still too many of them!"
Cryxis: "Evasive Maneuvers! Jump into hyperspace towards the nearest star!"
*The Dengora takes a beating from both fighters and ships, but they manage to jam the Saiv Imperial ships' sensors and escape without being traced*
Rob: "Sir, we made it! hull took 45% damage. Compartment Alpha reports punctures in the hull and a fire in the main hall of Alpha. Computers are telling us we are heading to the Judah system. ETA: 12 minutes"
Cryxis: "Have Darksaber cloaking up, jam all communications, and repair the hull once we exit hyperspace."
Rob: "Aye, sir!"
The Dengora: My father's ship. She's survived the most battles of any ship that exists today - minus the Saiv. After the MWLA chose me as their leader, I used my funds to give the Dengora a complete overhaul: Darksaber-II cloaking generator, Quantum-X ZP core, high-calibrated Ion beams, Quark beam Mk-II particle cannon, a larger hull, and upgraded fighters. The best technology of the NGU was put into this ship. It rivals that of even a flagship. Some say the souls of some of the greatest people of the Milky Way blessed this ship with some sort of magic, and that the very souls themselves were the hull and shields of the Dengora...
...sometimes even I believe that urban myth....
*Magdiel paces up and down the bridge of his flagship, the Ju-on, with the look of anger on his face. He stopped occasionally at his console to observe the UGA battleship in hyperspace.*
High Admiral: "M'lord, we've finished analysing their jamming frequencies. Once we upload the data to our fleet, we will no longer be suspectible to radar jamming. We're still working on the EMP dilemma."
Magdiel: "I want full immunity to their energy weapons, High Admiral. I want our shields fine-tuned ASAP."
Bridge Commandant: "Colonel! The UGA battleship has just dropped out of hyperspace, in the Judah system!"
Magdiel: "(are they insane?!) High Admiral, order the commandant nearest the enemy to prepare his space station defenses, and to scramble all available ships from the drydocks. I want our fleet hyperspaced to Judah too to support them."
*The Colonel-Militant and his fleet entered hyperspace, leaving the Edom system and arriving 2 seconds later in the Judah system.*
Magdiel: "Mariner Sergeant, gear up your team and prepare to board the UGA battleship. I want 1100 men on that ship now. Colonel-Submilitant, I want our warplane capacity in space. Get it done, in the Fire's name."
*The defenses of a space station near to the Dengora align with the ship and fire. The railguns and gauss cannons quickly overwhelm the shields, then destroy the comms relay to prevent communication. The Dengora returns fire and tears apart the space station, quickly reducing it to shards of metal.*
Subordinate: "M'lord, we just lost a space station!"
Magdiel: "... bring us starboard with the enemy."

So, what should happen next is a close engagement between the Dengora and the Ju-on (starboard means the right side of the ship). As powerful as the Dengora is, the Ju-on will be at least equally as powerful due to it's technological superiority. To make it an honorable fight, in his opinion, Magdiel is going it alone. Expect a close battle!
By now you've probably realised that the figure controlling Magdiel is indeed Firaeon himself. You would not stand a chance, through neither power of weapons nor size of ship, of defeating his one-of-a-kind battleship the Habeus Corpus. But owning everyone without so much as a whisper is boring, so he likes to observe conflict where either side could win rather than take part himself. You may not be able to kill him, but the events to follow may not require fighting him at all...
Pa-Toa walked down the rugged dusty streets of Gaabratskisea in his usual fashion, with a heavy limp in his right leg, forcing him to almost drag the leg across the ground. As he turns a corner, he freezes in shock at a group of people carrying a large portal-like device. They were carrying a DarkGate.
To be continued!
*After setting up probes, Cryxis realizes that he stumbled upon an Imperial shipyard! before he is able to tell Ensign Rob to turn the ship and jump again, Judah defense stations destroy the comm. array with ease. Guass cannons on the Dengora fire back, and being three times as powerful as it's other Allistor-class siblings, makes ease of the stations. However, the entire base is alerted to the presence of the Dengora. Interestingly, only one ship, a large Dreadnought-like ship, moves to challenge the Dengora....*
Cryxis: "All right...if it's a one-on-one fight you want, it's a one-on-one fight you'll get. Open torpedo hatches! Launch Trekk Mk-IV phase torps! Hold all fighters in the hanger bay!"
*The Dengora keeps it's port position, firing guass cannons and Ion cannons from long range. several Mk-IV torpedos swarm out from the two six-tube launchers embedded on the slanted surface of the ship. The torps change their trajectory, aming at the incoming ship, found to be named the Ju-on. They then, for a split second, Jump in and out of space, dodging the point-defense weapon's fire, and getting within meters of the enemy shield. The impact looks severe, however looks can be deceiving. Intel reports that the Ju-on's shields held, losing only 55% of their power. Any other ordinary ship's shields would fall to zero, with the hull taking a fair amount of damage. However, this was no ordinary ship, Cryxis thought. The Dengora's hull was taking damage, but due to it's reinforced hull, injected with auto-repairing Nanobots, The hull was holding. The best of what the NGU could make...versus an ordinary Imperial Dreadnought. A dead standstill. Shots were exchanged and maneuvers made, but both Captians decided this was a battle of Endurance. To see if anyone could stand up to a Saiv Dreadnought....
The Saiv built impressive ships, extremly advanced and extremly strong, resilient. Probably the only downfall was that it took so long - at least in human time - to build a single ship. They were that meticulous in their engineering. The perfect ships...no wonder they were able to overwhealm all Allied forces.
Eventually It ended with a tie. Both ships badly damaged, and thir power low, they each turned away. THe Saiv Captain did not order the other ships to capture the Dengora. Insted, he told them to return to their posts, and ignore them. The Saiv Captain proved to Cryxis that he was no match against the entire Imperial Navy...*
TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!
*The Ju-on, having taken heavy damage from the firefight, withdraws and later declares a temporary respite to the Dengora. The Ju-on uses this time to repair it's hull and gives Magdiel time to rethink his approach.*
High Admiral: "The UGA battleship is preparing to hyperspace out of the system, m'lord."
Magdiel: "I do not plan on returning to New Ravion with nought but the shame of defeat - jam their hyperspace path immediately."
Bridge Commandant: "...their ship has been jammed."
Magdiel: "I want my boarding party sent sooner. Bridge Commandant, order MS (Mariner Sergeant) Micah to ready his squad again. We attack now before they're ready."
Bridge Commandant: "Micah has recieved the order, m'lord"
*The Ju-on swiftly moves into boarding range of the Dengora, and the boarding party led by Micah immediately gates into the engine room. 1100 Saiv marines pour into the narrow corridor and kill an initial 8 UGA crewmen. UGA marines from the rest of the ship quickly arrive to engage the threat, and soon each side is pinned down from laser fire behine cargo containers and junction corners.*
Micah: (under heavy laser fire) "You, you and you, follow me into melee! You and you, watch our backs!"
*Micah and three other Saiv marines run out from their junction corner and charge headfast into the opposing UGA marines. One Saiv marine is mortally wounded from a laser burn, but Micah and two others reach the next junction and tear into the UGA marines with their swords and claws. The UGA soldiers, though professionally trained, are no match for the biologically superior Saiv, who grind them with metal and metallic bone into gore.*
Micah: "To the armory!"
To be continued...
Rob: "Sir. The Saiv Marines are moving towards the armory!"
Yin: "We've tested their ships, now we shall test their soldiers..."
Cryxis: "Right. Suit up, and follow me, Yin. The rest of you hold the bridge for as long as you can!"
Bridge crew: "Aye-aye, sir!!"
Cryxis: "let's do this!" *activates his bladerunner*
*With lightning speed, Yin and Cryxis sprint towards the Armory to support the UGA marines pinned down by Imperial forces. Other marine groups around the ship are at a stalemate between the Imperials. THe only way to clear them out is to activate the turret defense system manually from the armory, since the bridge comm. relay was destroyed. They finally rech the Armory, where two Saiv Commanders are tearing into the body of another UGA marine. Cryxis is the first to rush into battle, only to be met by Marine gunfire. Cryxis flips the bladerunner and starts firing pulses at the group of marines, killing two of them. Yin throws four guided shuriken, each entering and exiting 2 Impeial bodies, bypassing both PSD's and Body armor. the shurikens then return to Yin, who runs up and takes out the other two remaining marines. Cryxis proceeds to the armory, where the two marines are about to attack the remaining three....*
Cryxis: "STOP!"
*One UGA marine is killed by one of the Imperial's claws.*
Commando 1: "Well, well, well. Captain Cryxis Shnizel of the UGAN Dengora. You've been causing quite a fuss within our territory. Not a single one of our marines have been able to leave a scratch on you, I see..."
Commando 2: "We're going to change that. We're going to do the same thing our leader did to your fa-"
*The bladerunner is impaled into the second marine's stomach*
Cryxis: "You've got a pretty big mouth for an Imperial..."
Commando 1: "He did always have a problem of runnig his mouth off. Now then, let's see what you can do!"
*The second Commando falls limp on the floor. The first commando, Miach, pulls out his blade and clashes with Cryxis' bladerunner...*
Miach: "Our blades can withstand high heat. Your laser blade is nothing but cold steel to my sword. Suprise!"
*Cryxis is scratched by the Saiv's claw. Cryxis dodges the second hit by millimeters...*
Miach: "We also are born with claws of our own. As strong as steel"
Cryxis: "You talk as if you Saiv are Immortal..."
Miach: "We are close enough!"
*Cryxis blocks the third attack with his arm. The Saiv are strong, but not immensley. The two exchange sword blows, punches, and kicks. Cryxis connects a blow to Miach's head, but he just shakes it off, and smiles. Cryxis dodges another claw stab, and they continue with the sword exhange. Yin stands by, watching the battle commence. Cryxis tries to roundhouse Miach again, but is met with only air. Miach claws at Cryxis, but is stopped by his hand, which grasps his wrist tightly. Cryxis jabs at the arm, disabling Miach's left hand. All he has now is a sword. Insted, Miach re-sheaths his sword and pulls out his pistol, which he fires at Cryxis. Cryxis dodges all but one blast, which skims his right shoulder. Cryxis elbows Miach and knocks away the pistol. Miach is shot point blank in the stomach by s pulse from Cryxis' bladerunner. Miach kneels, grasping his stomach...*
Cryxis: "Yin. Activate the internal turret defense grid. Immortals, huh?"
Miach: "You think....you are?...You think...you will survive...?...what's got you going...?...We are...the Saiv...We are...superior in every...way possible....you will lose...Cryxis...You are facing the largest...strongest...most technologically...advanced...civilization...in the entire universe...You won't stand a chance..."
Cryxis: "I will destroy the Saiv. I will avenge my father, and I WILL kill Firaeon..."
Miach: "...what makes you...think you can...?
Cryxis: "Determination."
*The last thing Miach sees is the faint hint of gold in Cryxis' eyes. Miach is shot in the head by Cryxis using his own pistol. With the turret defense activated, the Saiv marines are almost completly wiped out. Of the 1100 who invaded the ship, only 67 made it back, 325 were imprisoned, and the rest were killed by either UGA marines or the ITDS.*
Cryxis: "Cryxis to bridge: Open a comm-link to the Saiv Admiral. We're going to have a little negotiation...."
To be continued!!!
Micah, not Miach.
*Magdiel slouches in his chair with embarressment at his defeat. Regrettably, he decides to open the comms channel to the Dengora. The face of Cryxis appears on a large holographic monitor before him.*
Magdiel: "Talk is time AND lives, Cryxis. I am here to support the assault on Maal, which as we speak is failing for us. I can summon my armada at any time and crush you - give me a reason not to crush you and let you live."
Cryxis: "You forget one thing... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"
Magdiel: "I'm not going to look, you fool."
Cryxis: "Well, no, but we're already in hyperspace. Bye!"
Magdiel: "... shit."
Cryxis: (still on-screen) "I want to negotiate terms of your immediate and total withdrawal from the Milky Way. You cannot simply invade because we're not of the same religion or culture."
Magdiel: "I fight a war above and beyond you and your primitive races. The realm of gods is not your realm, lest you be trampled underfoot. No, this galaxy is merely a stepping stone to recover our lost hemegony. And when we have finished with this half of the universe, we will destroy the Aradians and fulfill the ambitions of our forerunners."
Cryxis: "What makes you think you are gods? May you shiver in your pride and ignorance, Magdiel, for you are just a mortal man."
Magdiel: "Our god, the almighty Emperor; you are nothing to him. You will be brought to ruin and never rise again."
*The Dengora suddenly experiences unusual hyperdrive problems and drops out into the Judah system again.
Bridge Commandant: "M'lord, we have recieved a transmission from the Chaplain-Court palace on New Ravion. Jael of the Eternal Oceans has used his power to pull the UGA ship out of hyperspace, and Cere of the Invincible Stone is to lead a fleet of cruisers to assist us."
Magdiel: "Now, heretics, you will face the full might of the Saiv Empire!"- - Transmission End - -
+++++
*In the hallowed halls of the Helatan state palace, a tall individual walks with a contained urgency and yet proud stature. Firaeon is cloaked in red robes and saisteel metal shoulder pads, both , with a sword at his left side and a gun at the other, and determined 'eagle eyes' on his face as he walks forwards. Jael and Cere had left Helatan with a fair portion of the Chaplain-Court army to combat the UGA battleship incident in the Judah system, and Demiel and Entatan (Judge Magister of Aether) left to fight a spontaneous battle against the Aradians in the Dis system, leaving just Judge Magisters Firaeon and Vivea at the palace.*
*Vivea is leaning against the barricades of the balcony above.*
Firaeon: "Vivea, Demiel and Entatan left a few moments ago. You can come down now."
*Vivea turns to Firaeon, then rushes quickly down a staircase to meet him.*
Vivea: "How's that Magdiel of yours doing, Firaeon?"
Firaeon: "Ha! The auspicious fool yet lives to fight another day. He has lost again, but I do not worry - I have ordered the 11th Armada into reserve."
*Firaeon looks around himself, and becomes confident that they are alone. In privacy, he takes Vivea by the arm and kisses her - an act that would have them expelled from the EmberFive.*
Firaeon: "I love you. You are the echo of my heart."
Vivea: "As you are of mine... ... we should get moving - we cannot trust Cere, Jael, and their forces to kill Cryxis. Have you hijacked the cameras?"
Firaeon: "Yes, they should repeat the scenes showing us walking about. The Cynder and the Galecroft are fully cloaked and ready for space."
"Shit!"
*With the Dengora still in the Judah System, Cryxis realizes that escape is not an option..."
Rob: "sir...there's...no way we're making it, are we?"
Cryxis: "....maybe..."
*Cryxis thinks long about his next move. How were they able to pull his ship out of hyperspace and have him still in the Judah system? They could stand and fight, but there were too many. Not even the Antimatter warheads could destroy enought for them to stand a chance. Not only that, but they were getting support from not one, but two of the Chaplain-court. One ship with 4500 personel...versus an entire legion. Fighting with his ship was not an option, nor was escaping with his ship no option...or was it?*
Cryxis: "wait...THAT"S IT!"
*Cryxis looka around his ship...his family's ship. The Dengora. He was not going to lose this ship. He was not about to let his men die...not yet...*
Cryxis: "I want all commanders in my meeting room, ASAP!"
*An hour later, the Dengora hyperspaces to the Ju-on, as well as the cruiser armada. The Dengora launches a single trasport. Immediately, the Ju-on is hailed..."
Cryxis: "Do not shoot! Please!"
Magdiel: "Cryxis...Why should we trust you?"
Cryxis: "Because we wish to negotiate. We know that you goal is to capture me. You want me and my crew. We're out of options. We...surrender..."
Magdiel: "What if this is a trap?"
Cryxis: "look, I'll even lower the Dengora's shields. I'm offering my life, my crew, and my ship. In return, I wish for my crew to be unharmed"
I hope this works...
Magdiel: "Ha! HAHA! So you've come to your senses? Very well. We are opening our main docking bay. You may land..."
Cryxis: I shouldn't make this look obvious..."Now, how can I know you'll keep your end of the bargain?"
Magdiel: "How can I trust that you will yours?"
Cryxis: "...touche', sir"
*The transport lands in the main hangar of the Ju-on. Imperial Marines swarm the ship*
Magdiel: "My marines shall swarm your ship, in case you are using a trojan horse."
Cryxis: "We thought about that, but your ship has too many for our own marines to overwhealm..."
*Marines enter the transport, making sure there is no one except Cryxis...*
Magdiel: "Now that we have you, everyone else is expendable. We have no need for your crew..."
*on the comm screen, Marines swarm Cryxis, each one pointing their rifle at them. But ssmething was not right about the marines. They did not look Imperial. A smirk spread wide on Cryxis' face*
Cryxis: "Oh yeah, by the way, these people are my own men. This is a pre-recording..."
*Outside, the Dengora turns away from the Ju-on*
Cryxis: "Cya!"
Magdiel: "WHA-!"
Marine: "SIR!!! AN ANTIMATTER WARHEAD WAS IN THAT TRANSPORT!"
Magdiel: "...Motherfuc-"
*The Ju-on is ripped apart, obliterated, in a great anti-matter reaction, resulting in an explosion 50 times that of a conventional Nuke. The EMP from the explosion scrambles every cruiser's targeting systems within range of the blast except for the UGA ship. The Dengora enters Hyperspace, escaping the Judah system. With the command out of commision, no one was able to stop the Dengora from fleeing the system*
It was a simple trick. Plant one of our antimatter warheads onto a transport and dock it into their flagship. Easy enough. The hard part was to make a perfect pre-recording that anticipated what the High Admiral was going to say. Insted, Cryxis thought of many things someone would say in that situation to him, and had a recording of him for each. It just so happened that the High Admiral said all the right things. No matter what, as long as thee transport got into the hanger, they were home free. He studied the way the High admiral, as well as the Commando leading the marines talked. Cocky, proud of their Saiv Herritage. Just like the Earth Empire of stories past. The Antimatter warhead was one of only six that the Dengora carried with her. A small one, able to fit on the relatively small transport. a special casing reduced it's radiation signatures significantly. It all went as planned
Cryxis: "Now everyone, please listen to what I have to say..."
"We all knew the risk of coming on this mission. We were going to eventually run into hardships. This mission is imperetive to the fate of not just to humanity, but to the very existence of all species of the NGU. This is a heavy burden. That is why I say if anyone wishes to back out now, now is the time"
...
Soldier: "NO SIR! We will not back down so long as the fate of humanity hangs in the balance!"
Soldier: "We took an oath, thet which we still carry today"
Soldiers: "Never give in to the enemy!"
All: "Our sacrifice will mean the life of many more will be spared. Our Valor will mean that our spirit, even at the bitter end, never gave in. Our honor will mean that many others will support us in our cause. Our Courage will inspire those around us to take up arms against a common enemy. Our commitment will force us to never break; never falter.
"These are our core values: Honor, Sacrifice, Corage, Valor, Commitment. This is why we fight; This is how we survive!
OORAH!"
Rob: "Sir, we're not backing out yet. We are with you all the way."
Yin: "'A commander is only as strong as his men' If that is true, then you are the most powerful person in the universe right now, Cryxis, and we need you now more than ever. We are all behind you, one-hundered percent..."
Cryxis: "...alright. If there are no objections, we shall continue on, stopping only when necessary. No Imperial Legion shall stop the Dengora and her crew! OORAH!"
All: "OORAH!"
*Three days later, they stop at an old abandoned Asteroid. Sensors do not pick up any Imperial ships, even cloaked. Regardless, probed well disguised as small rocks are sprad about the Asteroid belt of this unknown star system. No ships detected at all, however a small ice planet seems to have life on it."
Cryxis: "We're stopping to recharge the ZP core and the Antimatter chambers. Hide bedind the old abandoned asteroid mine. I want this asteroid cleard of any personell, sensor-proffed, and garrisoned as our forward base. Did you get that, Percy?"
Percy: "Yes, sir. Orders have been sent out."
Cryxis: "Harell, I want round the clock monitoring of all sensors. If a single ship, hostile or otherwise enters an area of a million miles ofour position, I want this ship cloaked and me notified."
Harrel: "Yes sir."
Cryxis: "We may have lost the Imperials, but we still are in Saiv space. Meanwhile, Yin, I want you, me, CDR Joch and Rommel to take a cloaked transport down to the surface of that Ice planet. Understood?"
Yin: "Calm yourself, Cryxis. there are no Imperials here in this sector. Keep a calm mind, do not let anxiety stress you out."
Cryxis :"You're right...'sigh'...contact me when you are ready..."
Yin: "Yes, sir..."
*With the threat of the Imperials temporarily gone, Cryxis and his scouting party get ready to scout the nearby Ice planet. Meanwhile, on Graabat, The figure, darkgate in hand, talks to Pa-Toa...*
Pa-Toa: "...AH! I remember that guy! He called himself 'Noob'. A funny name"
????: "Do you know where he went?"
Pa-Toa: "AH-AH! My policy.....? No money...no informaTIAA-!!"
*Pa-Toa is flung to the wall by an unknown force. The shadowy figure, hand extended at Pa, walking slowly towards the Gaabratska. His voice, now deeper, distorted, pierced the marchant's mind...*
????: "Where...is...Cryxis!?"
Samurye, flying through the netherworlds of semi-death, pondred the situation. The Saiv were powerful indeed. Their ships were so strong, they might as well have been made of diamond.... With that, Samurye remembered a story from the Ildiran Saga of Seven Suns: A tale of the gas-giant dwelling Hydrogues. Armed with this memory, he immediately began traveling to the nearest gas giant. Hope was not totally gone. At least not yet.
Samurye.
Darth Caedus flying in hyperspace in the Shana Rhei a Teljekon Caedus Class Vagabond Annihilator Dreadnaught, moving towards Judah System chasing after his apprintice that got slightly sidetracked in his mission and is pretty sure that he was on Crysix ship Dengora, hiding aboard it. Caedus's ship is almost out of hyperspace and in the Judah system.
Caedus: What the hell just exploded here, *whatching the blinding blue and white explosion infront of the Rhei*
Tactical Officer: An antimatter missile just recently exploded and the remains of a massive dreadnaught. Looks like Saiv, sir.
Caedus: Thats deffinately Crysix. I see there is hyperspace trail signature that just left, looks like the Dengora.
Tactical Officer: Yes it is, sir a Incomming ship looks like a carrier with fighters boiling out.
Caedus: Prepare the emp, antimatter missiles and the flak gunns. Then jump with the transgate right beside them
*The carrier charging toward the Shana Rhei with there fighter squadrons.*
Carrier Commander: I want that ugly ship destoyed now, disable it with all are charges..... what the where did it go?
Carrier Officer: Don't now, I have no hyperspace traces and the ship is deffinately not clocked.
Both: What the f....................... dead silence
*The Shana Rhei appears right beside the carrier fireing the emp, disabling the carrier and the fighters. Then launched two antimatter missiles at it while the flack guns blazing the helples fighters. The carrier is destroyed quickly and fighters took a while.*
Caedus: That was a job well done, I would say. I assume hyperspace traveling is still jammed.
Tactical Officer: Yes Sir it is, there are several space stations in the area, I suggest destroying atleast two and immediately fleeing towards Crysix to avoid andy more conflict.
Caedus: Ah. hm Ok, that is not my type of way to do things. Remind me later to promote you to senior tactical Officer. Once the station are destroyed use our transgates to get out of the hyperspace disabling range then activate the hyperdrive to follow Crysix, I know he is going to need our help.
*While the two space stations were destroyed they trans-jumped out then activated the hyperdrive to follow Crysix*
Caedus hears some thoughts from Samurye that hope is not lost and the Hydrogues will be able to aide us. Then send a telecommunication back saying that we need more than that, since that thought of the hydrogues and the name of my empire's flagship heirloom, the Shana Rhei. The Shana Rhei are a powerful consuming race of darkness. We were nearly destroyed by them except the Faeros aided us and that flagship that is over 7,000 years old. They I might be able to convince them to aide us.
*Three days later in an asteroid field believing this is where they stoped to restore the Dengora*
Senior Tactical Officer: Sir we have arrived, I have detected a dreadnaught, a cloaked transport headding towards a small ice planet with some life pressence. There is also and abandonded mining facility.
Caedus: That is Crysix. Act casual. fly normal and move around towards the backside of the mine. Also send out out special coded message.
Senior Tactical Officer: Thats all Sir?
Caedus: Call for a cloaked transport with some of out elite commandos and send them to the planet. And be prepared for some tractor beam work to,
Senior Tactical Officer: Yes sir, will do and why do we need tractor beams for?
Caedus: You will See.
***This is for those who don't know what it is, this ship is like the normal Caedus Annihilator Dreadnaught, except this was our Empire's heirloom from over 7,000 years old. For a while we abandonded it because of it extreme inhumane powers. I researched in our Saga books and found that it was located within an ice planet and revived the ship to it original power. The Teljekon Caedus Class Vagabond Annihilator Dreadnaught, is a ship with organic matter in it. It can repair itself like nanites, except it repairs very fast, it also able asorb the damage more since it is more fleshy and bouncy. You can blast a hole dead center of it and can repair it within an hour, except the fact we are probably all dead in it though. It has it own sentient/ai mind that would make fight on forever until somone deactives it or it is utterly destroyed.***
*Jael, Cere and their fleet arrive at the Judah system, but in vain - the Dengora has left the system. They instead stare upon the many floating fragments of the Ju-on. Magdiel's fleet, however, remains mostly intact.*
Jael: "Once again, we arrive in the aftermath of Firaeon's careless games. If he had stepped in at all, this catastrophe could have been avoided."
Cere: "Magdiel was a great warrior, but Firaeon is a good friend. Let us hope we are not forced to make a choice between our lions and our donkeys."
Jael: "I have recieved word that the 11th Armada, under High Admiral Zechariah, is to arrive here under Firaeon's orders."
Cere: "Call them off - they should be supporting Demiel and Entatan, not supporting the 32nd..."
Jael: "I, on the other hand, will be taking command of the 4th fleet we came here with to hunt the UGA battleship down. The 32nd Armada is yours, Cere."
Cere: "Very good."
*The Endurance, Cere's flagship, suddenly comes under fire. In the distance, an Ildiran ship decloaks.*
Jael: "This is a fool indeed. I will deal with this - prepare your fleet for hyperspace, Cere, and get on the NGU's trail."
*Cere orders his fleet into hyperspace, and quickly leaves the system. Jael remains with the Chaplain-Court fleet, now coming under heavy fire from the Ildiran dreadnought.*
Jael: "Judge Deborah, gather a shock force and board that vessel immediately!"
Deborah: "This stain shall be removed from your sight, Master."
*Firaeon and Vivea barely leave the atmosphere of New Ravion before they are engaged by Inquisitorial ships. They both activate their hyperdrives and escape.*
Vivea: "That was close!"
Firaeon: "Alright, I have a live feed from my long range scanner. Cryxis and the UGA are in the Akko system, outside of our borders."
Vivea: "I don't think they'll last long. I've called in the 78th fleet to assist us."
Firaeon: "Hang on... I have a global broadcast from Demiel. Something is happening in the Ravion system, and we are to return immediately."
*Firaeon and Vivea detect the signal's source to be a beacon on a dead world in the Ravion system. They quickly hyperspace to the location, where they are escorted to a landing zone by 5 fighter craft. Suddenly, in the distant New Ravion, a population zone is destroyed by a plasmanuclear blast, and a large number of ships take off from New Ravion and attack the skydocks surrounding the city. The two Judge Magisters soon arrive on the surface, where they are greeted by Entatan and a collection of minor Judges.*
Firaeon: "What's going on? I saw the Star City come under attack."
Entatan: "We are equally as shocked. Just minutes ago, we had reports that armed Saiv gunmen had literally appeared from beneath the ground, attacking nearby military personnel and raiding hangars for ships."
Vivea: "Do you have the situation under control or should we step in ourselves?"
Entatan: "Demiel has ordered that the EmberFive regroup here until the Royal Navy can arrive and stabilise the situation. For our men, it's like anarchy up there - people have started rioting as the Defense Force is unable to prevent gunmen from slaughtering civilians, under bombardment as they are from stolen ships and stormed defense satellites. In space, the few ships we have available are being torn apart by heavy ground-to-space attack."
Firaeon: "Then what are we doing here?"
Entatan: "Something strange is occuring near this location. Some kind of portal device has activated, creating an energy burst which we picked up. Reports are sketchy, but we know it's not a DarkGate. Demiel, Cere and Jael are going to arrive soon, and when they do, we are to travel to the portal by atmospheric craft."
*20 minutes later, Demiel, Cere, Jael and their forces reach Entatan's location. Their ships dispatch large numbers of atmospheric craft which the party promptly board. They are quickly taken north of their position, but land just south of a black dot on the horizon.*
Vivea: "Pilot, why have we landed? The LZ is just north of here."
Pilot: "Command has ordered us to land because rebel forces are approaching our location. I am sorry, m'lords and ladies, but we must use ground vehicles from here on."
*The party drive north for 2 minutes, before arriving at a strange, angular portal made of metal of obsidian black. Demiel is seen leaving his transport to the left of Firaeon, Vivea and Entatan. He promptly orders a group of soldiers to form procession lines parallel to one another and adjacent to the portal, while Demiel moves a metre away from the portal, faces it, kneels and entices the others to do the same.*
Firaeon: "Entatan, what's he doing?"
Entatan: "Demiel simply told me when I left his fleet: 'My purpose is fulfilled. My oath is done.' He's whispering those words now."
*The portal energy begins fluctuating wildly, emerging from the portal as harmless lighting bolts. But it soon become violent; the energy started coming out in arcs which vaporised the surrounding soldiers, and Firaeon was forced to cover his face as an arc clipped his right shoulder. Then a horizontal arc flew at him, and struck him with full force...*
...it all went dark...
*In the Milky Way galaxy, Grand Judge Magister Demiel has ordered Admiral elect Jehoahaz and the 53rd fleet to engage the NGU forces in the Akko system. He cloaks his fleet and places in the gravity well of Nabatiye, an ice planet, waiting in ambush for the Ilidran ship approaching.*
*Meanwhile, on the Ice planet surface, Cryxis (Note: it is not Crysix, Cryxis (Krics-iss)), Yin, and the two Marine commanders place a planetary scanner on the ground. The surface is in a constant blizzard for the first part of the year. The second part brings some warmth and calm winds. The axis is tilted at a 12 degree angle, not much variation in season. The life forms detected are two miles from their position, and - interestingly - 20 miles below...*
Joch: "It's going to be hard to reach the life forms, captain. 2 miles southeast, 21 miles down."
Cryxis: "There must be a cave system running down towards the life forms. We need to get to that large mesa. That's likely where the cave system starts."
*They hear static on the radio*
????: "Esh....yx...elon..c..Can..hear...e?"
Cryxis: "Eschelon, we can't hear you. Boost trasmission to 450."
Eschelon: "We're..till get...ng bad recep...Blizzard jammin...ansmission."
Rommel: "There's no way any signal can get through the blizzard, sir. we're going to have to find a better place for reception."
Yin: "Forget it. We need to get moving..."
*The group of four make their way to the Ice mesa, Not one of them talks. THe howling of the blizzard changes pitch from time to time, almost as if the wind was talking to them. Joch then interrupts the howling of the blizzard.*
Joch: "Sir. You may want to see this"
Cryxis: "what?"
Joch: "The sensors have scanned the mesa for any caves and...
Cryxis: "and what?"
Joch: "Look for yourself..."
*Cryxis is given the softscreen Joch was carrying. It had a 3D cross-section of the Ice block ahead of them. The Ice was white, but the mesa was colored in gray, like a cigar embedded in the Ice...*
Rommel: "A colony ship..."
Joch: "It must have crashed here years ago"
Cryxis: "How long ago?"
Joch: "Maybe two, three years ago, even pre-war?"
Cryxis: "So those life-forms..."
Yin: "...are survivors."
Cryxis: "This scouting mission just got a lot more complicated. Let's hurry. If their transmitter still works, we can boost our signal and call for a lander to pick them up."
Rommel: "But sir, what if the Saiv Imperialists find the Dengora? Those people have lasted living in there for years..."
Cryxis "Yeah, waiting for help. And what if Imperialists find them? They'll be executed! We cannot leave them behind."
Rommel: "'sigh' fine. But we gotta make this quick, sir"
Cryxis: "Alright. let's go!"
*Cryxis, Yin, and the other two make their way to the buried colony ship, where they hope to find survivors...*
_Note!_please do not assult the ship untill Cryxis is able to get a signal to the Dengora
TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!!!
Imperials, not Imperialists. There's a difference.
*Firaeon lies unconscious on the dusty ground. He remains in this state for 3 hours, before waking to see a battlefield around him, in which the cloaked soldiers of the Chaplain-Court surround and defend an aerospace transport against attacking rebels. The portal metres away from him has collapsed and Demiel lies dead in front of it. Cere helps him to his feet.*
Cere: "Please, Firaeon, board the transport quickly! We cannot hold them off much longer."
*Cere is charged by a rebel, which he promtly dispatches with the rifle in his left hand.*
Firaeon: "What's... going on... where are the others?"
Cere: "New Ravion's gone to shit. Rebels overwhelmed our remaining forces and captured most of the population zones, while Vivea, Jael, Entatan and the remaining Chaplain-Court forces are under siege at our palace. The Navy ships we recalled were destroyed by the rebels. Now, get on board."
*Firaeon and Cere rush to the transport, and the Chaplain-Court soldiers retreat slowly out of their defensive ring. When they're all on board, the transport takes off. The Chaplain-Court ships defending the space above the transport also slowly retreat. After 40 minutes of hard fighting, they finally arrive and dock at the Chaplain-Court palace in the northern pole region of New Ravion. Firaeon and Cere are met by the rest of the EmberFive and a handful of minor Judges.*
Cere: "Firaeon, I do not have much time, as we must help our forces, but I have to tell you this. On the dead world, Demiel managed to contain the energy arcs, whereafter the portal suddenly opened. The Emperor himself walked through the portal, together with the 4 prophesised warriors our tomes describe. His voice was hypnotic and difficult to understand, but we know he declared Demiel a heretic, and then killed him. Shortly after this, an unknown Saiv fleet arrived and unleashed even more hostiles onto New Ravion's surface, cloaked in dark clothing with energised swords, seemingly allied with the rebels. A single individual among them rose and challenged the Emperor to one-on-one combat, and much of the city is now engulfed in black flames through the power of the two. Now, there is little time; we must fight beside our soldiers. 어둡기를!"
As the Ildiran vessel approaches, the Saiv 53rd fleet prepares for a surprise assault. When the ship comes within weapon range, the Saiv open fire. At the same time, the transmissions from the Dengora are picked up by sensitive Saiv recievers. A portion of the fleet moves to intercept. as the battle rages on, Crxis, Yin, and the 2 commandos remain oblivious to the chaos up above. As more ships move to annihalate the Dengora, the leading ship of the Saiv fleet vanishes in an explosion of blue light. The Saiv ships turn to see 11 massive diamond coated warships, crackling with energy. Before they can react, the Saiv ships are reduced to atoms. A fierce battle commences, diamond Warglobes versus Saiv dreadnoughts. Finally, the Saiv ships are destroyed, leaving nothing, not even space junk, in their wake. The diamond warglobes then turn their attention to the Dengora, more lightning crackling around them. The NGU personel onboard the Dengora brace for the flash of light that will annihalate them, like it did to the Saiv fleet. But the attack never comes. Instead, a calm female voice comes over the comm: "This is Hydrogue ambassador Nira suluth'nuk. Do not be afraid, nobel soldiers of the NGU. My fleet will protect you."
*As the rescue on the Ice planet, dubbed Ginthra, progresses, the battle within the asteroid field dies down.*
Rob: "Hydrogue? You mean the Hydrogue of legend that helped Noobis end the war five years ago?
Nira: Correct. We are the same Hydrogue of that time. we were informed by a fellow ally of what has happened to this system. We must speak with the son of Noobis. He is the only one that can stop what is to come.
Rob: "Communications to the surface of Ginthra are impossible. You will have to wait untill then. Thank you for helping us with the Saiv fleet. Are more coming"
Nira: No. For something has happened that will detemine the fate of all life in the Universe. That is why I must speak with Cryxis...
*Meanwhile, on the Surface of Ginthra...*
Joch: "Christ, that's a long way down!" *his voice echoing*
Yin: "If I remember, this center transit section of the ship leads to both sides of the ship. We can use our tow cables to repe down into the bow of the ship."
Cryxis: "Make sure your cables are wrapped tight and correctly hooked onto the bar. This beam seems sturdy enough to withstand our weight. If your cable is about to give, shoot your emergency cable."
*The group starts repelling down the large shaft...*
Rommel: "how are we going to get anyone down there up here?"
Yin: "We'll use the monorail as an elevator. It is well connected to the rail, and it has enough power to pull 100,000 pounds at a 90 degree angle."
Joch: "It's like it was built in case the entire ship was flipped over..."
Rommel: "Gee, I wonder why these people wanted to colonize this snowba-!
*Rommel's cable gives out a little*
Rommel: "Jesus Christ! Deploying emergency cable!"
*Rommel's cable gives away and starts falling. His emergency cable hits a rusty pipe*
Cryxis: "Rommel! Hold on there! Don't move!"
Rommel: "Sorry, sir. No can do..."
*The pipe breaks. Rommel plummets to the floor far below*
Cryxis: "ROMMEL!! Damn it!"
Joch: "God damn you, Rommel!...damn you..."
*For another six hours, the three continue repelling down, stoping only to reset the cables on a lower point. They eventually reach the bottom. Strangely, it's warm down there. Rommel, of course, is down there as well*
Joch: "Rommel..."
Cryxis: "Let's continue on! We'll come back for Rommel's body. Right now, we need to find the survivors."
Joch: "Yes...sir..."
*The three leave the limp body there and head into a side chamber, where they hope to find the survivors...*
_Note_The Dengora and Hydrogue will not be attacked by Saiv forces untill next time...
TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!!
It's significant that this planet has the name Nabatiye.
*On New Ravion, the battle continues to rage between the Contravention (rebels) with the Second Shade (unidentified fleet) and the Chaplain-Court. The power unleashed in the private duel between Sav Sabiel (Saiv Emperor) and Ἀποκάλυψις (leader of the Second Shade), leaves much of the city burning in black flames of freezing cold.*
Ἀποκάλυψις: "This glory is ours! I will fulfill our purpose, as you have failed to do!!"
*Ἀποκάλυψις unleashes an energy blast of absolute death at Sav Sabiel, sending him crashing backwards and creating a catastrophic crater in the ground. Sav Sabiel ascends from the ground and charges Ἀποκάλυψις, smashing the mighty Blade of Loss into his right side. The energy booms outwards, and Ἀποκάλυψις is thrown spinning into the fluctuating energies of the surrounding DarkStorm.*
Sav Sabiel: "I will suffer no false creed in a darkening truth!! You shall be obliterated into a trillion shards of chaos!"
*Sav Sabiel summons a mighty eye of a storm, through which black lightning of pure extinguishment shoots to the surface and smites Ἀποκάλυψις. Both are thrown outwards by the force of the explosion it creates. Ἀποκάλυψις becomes unconscious and lies back facing the ground. Sav Sabiel treads slowly to his body, ready to deliver the killing blow.*
Ἀποκάλυψις: "YOU... WILL... DIE!!!"
*With his last breath, Ἀποκάλυψις picks up his sword of eternal redemption and drives it clean through Sav Sabiel's chest. The Saiv Emperor steps back in agony once Ἀποκάλυψις pulls out his blade; the energies of the DarkStorm around him spiral into his open wound, causing his body to collapse in on itself. His body quickly shrinks to a tiny orb of sheer nothingness - impossible to comprehend through mortal perception.*
*In the palace of the Chaplain-Court, the true soldiers of the Saiv Empire have retreated to the main hall, where they barricade the entrance. Firaeon and Vivea are preparing to staff their warplanes, in order to rescue holdouts trapped elsewhere in the palace.*
Vivea: "Are you ready?"
Firaeon: "I just need to calibrate the Cynder for atmospheric flight... ... there, done."
*Firaeon puts his hand on the side of the Cynder, but hesitates just before he leaps in.*
Vivea: "... let's go, Firaeon! We don't have any time to waste."
Firaeon: "..."
Vivea: "What are you waiting for? We have to go now!"
Firaeon: "... ... come away with me."
Vivea: "What?!"
Firaeon: "Come away with me, Vivea, please. This whole thing is a lie - the Contravention are the real power in the Saiv Empire, not us. We are just puppets on strings... we must help the NGU, or they shall be destroyed by the Omen, and so will we."
*Vivea remains silent at this offer.*
Firaeon: "Please, I love you."
Vivea: "... yes... I want to be free to wander the stars with you."
Firaeon: "Once we bind the Omen again, we will be free. I promise."
*Suddenly, Contravention forces break through to the hangar. They manage to destroy the Galecroft, but they were not quick enough to stop Firaeon and Vivea from lifting off in the Cynder.
*In the wake of the ruins that Sav Sabiel and Ἀποκάλυψις have left before them, Sav Sabiel is now nothing more than a tiny orb of oblivion. For a moment, all is silent, but then the orb explodes with massive amounts of energy, causing the Ravion star to explode in a supernova, engulfing the city and destroying it. Meanwhile, on Old Ravion, the shock from the blast frees the Omen from his chain bonds. The Omen, with a human body of golden energy and jade armor. The unstoppable force, destined to destroy all of reality. Bound only by the power of the Ucori themselves, but now free.*
*The destruction of all leading authorities on New Ravion caused chaos throughout the Empire. With the military in pieces, Admiral Aleksandr Kolchak ascends to command of the entire military structure. He travels to the Irkutsk system to consolidate his power, where he is met by a minor Judge who escaped the disaster in the Ravion system and a handful of Chaplain-Court ships.*
Chaplain-Court soldier: "May I present to you, Judge Othniel Ben Kenaz of the Chaplain-Court 1st Judicial Bureau, first and mightiest of his order."
*Othniel approaches Aleksandr and Aleksandr promptly offers to shake his hand. Othniel remains still, simply staring at him and breathing heavily through his iron mask. However, he eventually moves to Aleksandr's desk, where he slams down a parchment document, and then speaks with an authoritive voice.*
Othniel: "Aleksandr, you have been charged with the unauthorised assumption of command of military forces, forbidden under article 1962 paragraph 1 subesction 16 of the Declaration of Law. How do you plead?"
Aleksandr: "I am not guilty in any way! I am the only hope for us now."
Othniel: "With the powers blessed unto me by Emperor and Empire, you are sentenced to death by sword."
*Othniel draws out his blade, and in a flash, severs Aleksandr in two - from head to waist. The two halves collapse on the ground.*
Othniel: "I want his blasphemous form removed from my flawless sight and burned. Truly, as there is no other authority, I will take command of our armies."
I just can't resist explaining things further to you. Sorry.
One of the most important aspects of this fiction is the demonstration of power of certain beings over other beings. There are three mainstream god races, the predecessors of each of three races in this universe, that existed before the current universe was created in the Big Bang;
The Omen and the Silver Child are two examples of apocalyptic forces. To select it's victims, the Omen casts stone tablets out into space, and wherever one lands the Omen will come. The Silver Child, on the other hand, wanders the depths of space randomly and kills anyone that it encounters. By 'victims' I tend to mean planets, but the same principles of selective destruction apply to any object in space which bears life - even a single individual. Both of these forces are elemental, so they cannot be stopped or destroyed except by divine intervention, which is unlikely. Fortunately (excluding the Omen at this point) both are bound by unbreakable chains on the surface of Old Ravion and beneath the surface of Nabatiye respectively.
both are bound by unbreakable chains on the surface of Old Ravion and beneath the surface of Nabatiye respectively.
CARP!!!!
* Within the crashed colony ship, the remaining three of the Expedition team finally reach the surce of life. A small junkyard city, alit with fire from burning feul tanks...*
Yin: "My god...and they've been able to live here for so long...."
*the group is approached by a group of humans*
????: "Thank god! We have waited for so long!"
Cryxis: "Who are you?"
Kiron: "My name is Kiron Alberson. I am the leader of this group of survivors. This colony vessel was fleeing the Invasion of the new enemy when our ship was attacked. The ship fell to the surface and was embedded in Ice. We tried to get a signal, but the blizzard caused too much information. We estimate that we've been buried for two years."
Joch: "Three, actually"
Kiron: "One of our portable food processors for colonization of infertile planets were left in tact. We've been living on that for all this time. Any later, it may have failed, and we all would have died...."
Cryxis: "How many people?"
Kiron: "two hundered thirty two. Not many prople were able to survive the crash, much less the cold outside."
Yin: "That's enough to fill an entire lander. Let's get everyone to the shuttle in the mid-section."
Kiron: "Yes, we've converted it into an elevator. Since there was no signal, and no one was willing to stand on guard, we did not leave anyone up there to stand watch."
Joch: "Can we fit everyone?"
Kiron: "It'll be tough, but I think we can make it work...."
*The survivors as well as Cryxis and the others take the shuttle-now-elevator up and make it to the surface, not forgeting the fallen comrade's body. They use the comm. relay on the back of the ship to make a strong enough signal to pierce the now calming blizzard...*
Cryxis: "Scouting party to Eschelon, Scouting party to Eschelon, come in..."
*Eschelon answers back, a minute amount of static within the relay*
Eschelon: "Cryxis! Than..od I can hear yo...!"
Cryxis: "There's a bit of static, but I can understand you."
Eschelon: "Listen! alot has...appened since you hit planetside. We need you on...Dengora, now!"
Cryxis: "We need a Lander, first. We've got two hundered survivors down here freezing their asses off, I'm going to have to wait for that first."
Eschelon: "ay....ir!"
Caedus: Apprintice, I am putting you in command of the Shana Rei while I got on a transport with some commandoes down to the surface of Nabatiye to help Cryxis.
Apprentice: Yes master, I will do the best and beyond my ability.
Caedus: Good, Now Kelbin, the Senior Tactical Officer will always be here to help you. Oh don't forget to fire the electric chain missile at capital ships and fire the scythe at anything smaller and aim between the bridge and engine to destroy both. Only if the Saiv come.
Kelbin: Aye Sir.
Caedus: Now I need that transport ready and I need three commandoes, Harkow, Levit, and Roak.
Commandoes: Aye sir, we will be at the transport in docking station SR-27-t.
Caedus: Excellent
*The transport glydes easily down toward the surface of Nabatiye even with the blizzard buffiting the transport.*
Caedus: That must be Cryxis transport, we will travel farther toward the actual location and scan for all tunnel location and structures.
Harkow: Aye sir, we should see the visible are in about four minutes. Sir you should come look at this.
Caedus: What is it?
Harkow: Look at this part of the tactical screen, there is a colony ship that crash landed some time ago.
Caedus: Looks like about three to four years ago, wonder why the oringal people did not rescue them but it is impressive that they built these tunnels. Land near it and we will take our portable levitating platform down the shaft.
--------------------
Roak: Caedus sir, I am getting a transmission signal from the colony ship.
Caedus: what does it say?
Roak: Basicly Cryxis found two hundred and twenty or so survivors and he neads a Lander to haul them up.
Caedus: Harkow and Levit go back to the transport and bring it closer and get a tunnel pipe to the entrance of the colony ship. Me and Roak are going in to talk to Cryxis to tell him to cancel his lander because we got one.
Commandoes: Yes sir!
------------------------
Cryxis: Who goes there, I know someone is there in the shadow.
?????: Your senses are well trained but almost there by Master Samurye.
Cryxis: Caedus! You followed me?
Caedus: Well sort of, I followed you because by apprentice some how ended up aboard the Dengora, also to make sure you don't get yourself killed, when I finally caught up to your ship, you were on this planet and found some lifes sign. A lot has happened when you were down here.
Cryxis: Eschelon told me something major happened up there. Do you have a large transport with you because I radioed for one already.
Caedus: Yep just by chance we brought down a drop ship, it could hold about three thousand commandoes. I came here to specificly to call of you lander. My other two commandoes are bringing the dropship closer with an insulated tube to the colony ship.
Cryxis: Eschelon, do you read me.
Eschelon: Aye sir.
Cryxis. We won't need a lander anymore, Caedus had a dropship right here, but send a shuttle to Caedus' ship.
Eschelon: Will do sir.
Caedus: Everyone follow me to dropship.
----
*Every colonist got onboard, along with there belonging comfortably and were given a small healthy meal until the dropship get back to the Shana Rei, to a better meal in the mess hall.*
Don't worry, the Silver Child is bound by unbreakable chains. You might run into him, but he's not going anywhere. Plus, the Omen will not be coming here unless we recieve a stone tablet from him.
I haven't updated the cartography side of this, so I'll go ahead and do so.
This is the state of the Milky Way galaxy as of the year 3035. To consolidate his power, Othniel has trained each of his Chaplain-Court soldiers to become lesser judges or 'Watchmen', and they now possess some of the qualites seen in a regular Judge. The newly formed 'League of Watchmen' use political bullying to bring many critical planets back from the brink of social collapse, thus forming the Othniel Consortium. The Othniel Consortium does not have a state army, and the League isn't large enough to be a state army, so Othniel is forced to rely on the individual militaries of each planet which are too diverse to bring under a single banner. Othniel has transformed his base of operations on Techoyan into the capital of the Consortium, where the twin suns of the star system create a twilight effect and golden colouration in the sky, much like the former New Ravion.
Note: The planet Kyreich is the prime planet of the Judah system. Both Kyriech and Nabatiye are classed as abandoned, indicated by their light grey colouration (not to be confused with the Faeros Remnants, who use a dark grey colouration).
Meanwhile, in the distant Saiv Empire, factions begin appearing spontaneously and the Saiv race quickly enter their dark ages. Fear and death abounds, and there is no sign of a return to the status quo ante. Firaeon and Vivea have long since left the galaxies formerly under Imperial control, and their current location is unknown. The Omen continues to reck havoc upon the helpless citizens of the Empire in the unusual absense of the two remaining Judge Magisters.
*Cryxis, Caedus, and The Hydrogue Sentient Nira update on the situation on the Saiv.*
Cryxis: "...This doesn't make sense. You are telling me that the Saiv Government...Collapsed?"
Nira: Correct.
Cryxis: "And that something caused it"
Nira: Yes. An abomination called "The Omen" caused it. It was created by the gods as a failed attemp to make a better human. It insted was incomplete, created without emotion. Now, it is causing chaos within the Main Saiv Galaxy.
Cryxis: "I think I get it...talk about karma. Now what about you, old friend. Why have the Ildiran Return after so many years from abandoning us?"
Caedus: "We did not abandon you! It takes time to build a force large enough to destroy a civilization that takes up half of the eastern universe. We have enough forces to drive out the Saiv forces and retake out territory-"
Cryxis: "Caedus...you and my father were friends. But I must ask you to stand back on this matter. This is between the NGU and the Saiv."
Caedus: "They took our territory, as well."
Cryxis: "But the NGU is in control of this galaxy, now. You fled long ago, You stood behind while the UGA perished and the rest of the galaxy almost anihilated!"
Caedus: "Believe me, I tried! We tried! We...couldn't build fast enough...we're sorry. I'm sorry about your father...I really am..."
Cryxis: "...Alright. The Ildiran may retake their territory, but the rest of the territory belongs to the Milky Way Intergalactic Federation. I was guaranteed the remaining territory by the NGU. I understand you want your territory, which it is. But this galaxy is MWIF territory. I shall ask of the NGU to Aid in the assult of the remaining Saiv territory, renamed the Othinel Consortum. The ARA and Ashi have agreed on this matter, and have not broken their word that any territory taken will be MWIF territory."
Caedus: "....I...I have no objections."
Cryxis: "then it is settled. The Ildiran receive their territory, and the MWIF shall take all remaining territory. You may aid us in our fight, if you promise to take only what you need."
*the two shake hands*
Nira: Now we must find a way to assult the Saiv's remaining territory...
Cryxis: "I shall return to the NGU, where I shall formulate a plan with the NGU to assult the Othinel..."
Caedus: "You remind me so much like your father...."
*Cryxis orders his ship to hyperspace to the main NGU headquarters, Vetar, of the ARA...*
*A note of info: When I left because basicly I did not have enough forces in my homeworld territory to prevent them from taking, endind in the retreat to the Orion Galaxy where battleing some othere cicilization that becoming a bit tougher every minute. Finally I was able to conquer them and able to concentrate on my homeworld, I was able to set up a small undetectable base at a volcanic planet called Obsidia in the Namino System, just east of Nabatiye. This is where we found our anchient semi organic dreadnaught from over 6,000 years ago.*
Caedus: ...That basicly what happened, found my specialty ship and setup a base, I probaly take Nabatiye as another base to help me along. I think I may have a Plan. Right now I have factories trying to reproduce that specialty ship that is my flagship, it has some nasty suprises for capital ships, it will cripple them severly.
Cryxis: I think I get what your are saying about the plan, and am fine now with why your gone. So Nira what do you think of the plan?
Nira: That will work of course with some modifications, Caedus may ask you about what that weapon is, I may of heard of it from a long time ago before the UGS, since that ship is anchient.
*Cryxis leaves on the shuttle to his flagship.*
Caedus: Yes that ship is anchient and is still in perfect condition, the weapon is this, wishper..................................
Nira: Oh I remember that ship quite well.
Caedus: Thank you for understanding me, now I must go. Kelbin take the Shana Rhei back to Obsidia so whe can prepare for war efforts.
Caedus: Farwell to you all, and may the gods bless you with courage.
------------------------------
*The Shana Rhei jumps in just outside of Obsidia's planetary rings, notices a Saiv fleet consisting of two cruisers and thirteen frigates, but noting that there is a lot of wrekage, Caedus does a scan and sees that one of his firgates destroyed.*
Caedus: Looks like your doing very well commander and it looks like some more ships came from the Orion Galaxy. Do you mind if I join in the slaughter party.
Volknei: No problem at all and love to see the capabilties of your ship, I have not seen it used before.
Caedus: Ok, Kelbin, full speed to be within two kilometers of the nearest enemy cruiser and full shields.
Kelbin: Will do with pleasure.
*The Shana Rhei full speed get there in time with no damage.*
Caedus: FIRE!!
*Two harpoon missiles with chain cable attatched rush to close the gap, they plunge deep into the hull. Electric glowing spark glow the chain, soon the cruiser is covered with it and mini explosions, the weapon fir dies, the communications die, then the lifeform sensors detect nothing. In a coupple minutes the engines explode and the Saiv cruiser is floating dead. The battle was over in a little as twenty minutes.*
Caedus: Commander we will need to build some reinforcements, weapon platforms and such things when we move on and also some construction cruiser will need to built when we get to our destination.
Volknei: Will do, eningeers you herd what the emperor said get to it.
