I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but is this mod for sins 1.16, and not for Entrenchment.
I was under the assumption from the top post, it was for entrenchment. I cannot get it to work in Entrenchment, put it in the mods entrenchment 1.02 folder, and when I enable it, locks it up. I take it out and put it in the mods 1.16 folder, it works fine in reg Sins. Is there another link for the Entrenchment version?
The version that is up for download now is 0.03c. That version is available for sins 1.16. The version for Entrentchment is 0.03e. That is the one that is currently in works. You have a previous unsupported version of the mod.

BTW, the models I seen so far are very nicely done.
the latest count of downloads of SoA_2_0.03c.rar (the sins 1.15-1.16 version) is 1,019

Are there any plans to incorporate sins plus (or whatever its known as now) or some version with all the different planet types?
yes there is plans to incorporate more planet types etc however the way sins works now you can enable 2 mods at once tho i have not tried this yet
and mooster half of entrenchment is done its just a lot of us have a lot of RL stuff going on atm stress working away / shim working / me-- working (and may have no internet for a while in a month or so) / cobbs - his pc blew up

Loki check the fed civilian tech tree again. When some research prereq's are done you still cant build some stuff.
Repair platforms cant be built even though they have been researched.
excelsior upgrade sometimes spawns lakotas without destroying the existing excelsior which means free ships. look at the starbase constructor for a new way to do the lakota refit.
I may have said it already, but ... nice work!! played the 0.03c version and it's already pretty impressive. nice models, well done interface, title music and ship balance so far seems promising. can't wait to see what you do with the entrenchment stuff. take your time and thx for the effort.

WMD's aren't technically cannon. They aren't needed either though if they're there then well done for finding realistic ones. Also what are you guys basing the Klingon starbase on, as I've only ever really seen them in ST armada and that isn't exactly cannon lol. The running of two different mods together is also a very definate reallity. It works with all the other mods I've tried lol. Again thatnks for all of your hard work SoA Team and I hope to see SoA 2 0.03e soon!!

mm not sure what you mean ? just had a nice 4hour game lol on the latest version of the mod (+ the borg too) with 2 of my friends (bug hunting)
as far as i am aware everyone could build everything once it had been researched espc the fed repair bay i did update that this morning tho not sure if you have that latest version as for the excel not disappearing is this happening a lot or like 1 in 10?
i know what you mean about the starbase constructor but that does not work as that requires the ship to be a starbase so unless someone knows how to make starbases enter "phase lanes" to travel to another planet it cant be done that way i will change some of the delay timers tho see if that stops it
anyway after this epic 4 hour game before the borg did win (aka i was playing them ofc) there was one hell of an epic battle 50+ klink and federation ships full capitals both factions vs the borg unicomplex !
btw shimmer did a fantastic job on the movement not one single ship stopped or reversed etc when attacking any borg station or starbase

Ill see if i can get some pics of the entrenchment beta posted. Right now i have an issue with the ship/weapon speeds. I know shimmer has been busting his ass on this, but right now ships can outrun torpedoes. Its funny as hell to watch 100+ torpedoes chasing a vorcha.

Thank you Harpo. Im glad people still enjoy the old release, but it is unnecessary to update the number of downloads for 0.03c. Since it is just there for people to enjoy the mod until we get the entrenchment version done.
I managed to get one decent screenshot. It doesnt really show off the dynamic movement but you can imagine from the positions of the ships. I dont have fraps so i cant record a movie yet. If other testers want to upload screens i have no issue as long as they arent "too" revealing
Good day just updated my beta test copy at around five and been testin away!! I found just a few bugs to report.
1. Player federation , "tech tree advanced civic design doesnt work will not light up and all research pre-reqs meet.

Hey all. I periodically check the forum to check and see if there is an update. I am glad they are still posting in the forums so that we can see their process as they go (wish we could have that on STO). I am just as impatient as the others but I just keep it inside because I know they are doing it out of their free time and I don't have much of that lately either so I can sympathize. Just be patient.. I wish I could do effects really well so I could give a better photon torpedo for the mod. It just seems strobe like to me. But that is not even on the drawing board I bet and it is my own opinion but other than that I think that things are progressing steadily. Thanks for the update guys
Ships look a little fast for supposedly titanic warships. Maybe slowing them down a bit (course I haven't seen what changes you've made to Grav well sizes). Other than that, EPIC.
