Hi there , coudl you help me please. Im having trouble with runing the game. I have downloaded the game from the link that mooster reply 219 posted and placed the game in my entrenchment mod folder. I go to run entrenchment and it does, I head to the mod area and enable the mod and apply changes. The never anables my game just stops resoponding. i do have other entrenchemtn mod installed and they run fine. I also checked that no other mods where enabled before enableing this mod. Any insite any one?

To late for that mate, they have all their testers.
By vanilla sins he means original sins, not the expansion.

I would guess several weeks. Not much being done this week with several people off line. But believe me we are not just slacking off on this lol. We still have several bugs to minimize/eradicate, and some balancing that needs to be somewhat finished, and we might be finishing a first release klingon tech tree also.

No. They are currently working on .04, which will be for Entrenchment.
mali, have you tried again? the link works for me after a refresh, so my guess is that filefront is sufferings traffic load or web attack.
I can also upload to game fanatics if you want me to.

SoA2 0.03c is kind of pointless to get unless you are running the older 1.15 patch of regular sins. It doesnt work with 1.16, or entrenchment. I have deleted the mod from ModDB (nor will i host it there again). Other links should be deleted as well. There is no point in hosting a mod that doesnt work.
Just wait a while, and we will have this done for Entrenchment 1.02 ASAP. We didnt expect it to take this long with the conversion, because we have real life things going on, and there is no developer exe for entrenchment 1.02. If there was we would have been done already. For now we have been doing it the old school way. Trial, and error. The school of hard knocks.
We arent bothering to make the mod work for regular sins anymore. Entrenchment has much more to offer SoA 2 than regular sins. Despite all the trouble we are having with the conversion.
The mod will stay in the 0.03xx series until i can return from my work trip, and make some models. Once the meshes are done for all of the factions stations, civilian craft, and fighters. Plus all factions research trees done THEN, and only then we can move on to 0.04.
I need MODELERS, and i need TEXTURE ARTISTS BADLY. If you think you are up to the task, and want to help with the mod by making some models. Then talk to Darkshimmer. You see the quality we have now. This is what i expect from any potential modeler.
I wont be able to do much of anything else for the mod until the end of the summer. Work takes up too much of my time.

I'm using your ST:SOA 2 for the origional Sins. I'm not sure If I can do this, but I would like to put the Terran Empire into it as a new race. It's going to have fewer ships that the Fed, but use Romulan ships too. But I don't know how to make a new race, can someone help me, If i can do this?
You just need to duplicate everything with the new entity files for the side and update the various places that need updated. To do that, you just have to learn how to mod it. If I were less lazy I'd know what that entails, but there should be information posted detailing it.
I have no problem with people doing their own thing with the mod like changing stats, or adding stuff. As long as it is for their personal use only.
What i do not want to see is someone using SoA 2 as a foundation for some idiotic mod. Like using the mods foundation adding a few (badly modeled) ships, or changing some stats (to make uberships), and releasing it as "look what i made. aint it cool?!".
In other words Knock yourself out learning how to mod using our foundation... Just dont release your mod if it has anything from SoA 2 in it. Be original with your mods.
I would like to see other eras modded like TMP or ENT era. I chose TNG era because it has the largest variety of ships.
What i also would like to see is for starfleet battles fans to get together, and create a "federation, and empire" mod. Starfleet Battles is a totally alternate universe from trek canon, but it is still quite good.
Those that can make 0.03c work for 1.16 im glad you pulled it off. perhaps you can share with us what you did, because we are concentraiting on entrenchment. So people still can enjoy the mod while we get the entrenchment version together.
