I've only gotten a couple of games, and I'm leaving for a 10 day vacation, but roughly so far:
I love Torchbearer - the skill synergies he brings aren't perfect but they represent a sweet sweet trend that I hope pops up in all the DGs
I love map variety - so nice
I love name and password save
I love seeing the potential for 4 v 4, even though I haven't actually been able to play one
I like being able to see the NAT traversal, even if I can't do anything about it if it fails, it's nice to have the info
Some things to work on, which devs are mostly already aware of -
Connectivity and the poison pill especially still cause frustration - I saw 196 players ingame last night. That will shrink to 10-20 pretty quickly if this doesn't get fixed, and that means you are getting alot less useful feedback from us...

Latency seems worse in some cases
Game speed seems slightly slower than in 2D. My limited experience is giving me games that last 30-40 minutes instead of 15-30...

Latency does seem worst with more in game disconnects.
Game speed does seem slower but I thought this was map related.
how do you find the total number of players (196 players) online?
More maps and more players are a big plus. beta2d map was starting to get boring with mostly just 2v2, mostly the same pros online.
This Pantheon doesn't work for me, unless I'm not waiting long enough for it to connect and with the custom game I only see one or two games at any one time.

I'm quite new to this forum as I read it for few month but never said much.... so hello there.
So, I've been through Beta 2 (and played something like two dozens of games), I I was somewhat hoping that thing would become more fun than there were... And with this new beta I think it indeed did !
The introduction video is quite nice, even if I have some difficulties to understand what is said (but i'm not a native speaker so...), and the deepnes of the voice is really cool
Anyway,The first (and really most important ) thing is the account name and password saving (and still being hidden ! marvellous)... maybe what would be great would be an auto-matic logon, especialy if the game is ran via Impulse...
Then the connectivity... for having managed to do a few tounament games with quite some people, conectivity has been quite improve and that's a good point... In beta 2, I had quite often some micro-lags when playing with other players, and this has totaly vanished so far. Thus a game is now much more imersiv...
And then there are more maps and quite a lot of demi gods... the new 'infernal' map is quite cool to play.. and that's it...
Now about the pantheon.. well it has still to be improve.. and I hope we'll get a new better working version of this third beta quite soon.. I stayed litterraly more than twice the time I finaly played waiting for players, connections... there are thse quinds of problems:
- Not being introduced in a game
- Nat transversal not being started
- Game launching, but it stays blocked in the loading screen (more than 5 minutes I meen)
Apart for the better reliability, I would be nice to have a little bit more of infomaton on what is going on, and more importantly if for any reason the thing is stuck it would be nice to hace a "backdoor" to use to cancel connection (in the loading freez case for example, I'm forced to end the game with the task manager as neither "Esc" nor "Alt+F4 works")
The fact that the map and the victory condition is random is a good thing... it forces us to vary a bit what we do... but maybe It would be nice to have an option to set préféences map both of them (a bit like what was on GPG.net for SupCom)... but even if this appears i think it sould keep some king of randomness, otherwise w'ell end up doing constantly the same things...
On balancing, I didn't see as big 'exploit' as in beta 2, so some thing have been fixed I suppose.. but I presume their is still more to do... I only played Regulus, And I won quite easily my matchs.. despite the fact that I'm not an expert at all. Maybe he need to get a bit less power... (or maybe I only played esay games..)
Achievements.. sometimes they seem to work (skirmish).. but in pantheon mode I always started with only 150 favors point and the achievement I earned were apparently never saved (on they appeared in the achivement thing, but a while latter they were not there.. probably after restarting the game on a loading crash)
A funny thing, is that victory appears as defeats on the pantheon web site.. that's quite strange... or maybe it's me who didn't understand everything...
Another thing, when playing the tournament with 'computer' it is not obvious at all that some guys are computers... (well with tan and loocking at pings.. but...) mlaybe it would be great to make it a little bit more obsvious...
When replacing players (that departed for any reason), maybe it would be better if the computer that takes the carater should be a "nightmare" one... as other one are quite useless... I here hope that the average player would be better than a nightmare comp... Also when their is no more "real" player on a team, the defeat should pronoced imediately as the rest of the game would not be fun and a crtain victory for the teams taht still have humans...
Well there it is for my little feeback and sugestions... overall i'm very pleased with the outcome of this beta, and thus if one is reading this and wonders if he should join in, I would certainly say that he will ge fun stuff to play with this beta !
