generally speaking, unless a passworded game is hosted, or if there is something specific in the game title like 'skilled only', all are welcome to join the game. This means you cannot control the player pool that joins. To have a fair match, we try to even out the skill level of the players so that the match will be as fair as possible. To do this there is a standard called 'PUG'.
However there is also nothing wrong in challenging certain players and arranging a match with them, as long as it is done in advance.
I guess there is also nothing wrong with doing a 'China vs'. It would be like how it was when there were various 'clan vs' matches, although all that is long dead now. But again, as long as it is arranged in advance, not in a game where there is wide spectrum of skill level.
So yes Zuoan, as far as I'm concerned I'd have no problems with your challenge, as long as you can get the other 4 players and a convenient time for all to play.
Or if you just want to 1v1 me I'm down for that too.

First, 1000 posts in this thread now! I was going to quote post #1000 and offer one karma point but the post itself was hardly about the game. So, humph.
Now this is a great idea! I have played two games vs Team China, and Team China lost both times. Both the games were very fun, esprit de corps! We should try to set up some more team games, with TeamChina, TeamDT, TeamUnaffiliated(Auqia,JJ,PlayerSlayer,Doci,IamLikingTheseOdds!), and TeamNoob. Who has the best way to schedule these?
There's only 3 main things I play for now. 1) to have fun, 2) improve my skill and 3) sometimes to teach.
I don't care so much about winning as I used to do anymore. Rankings, reputation etc don't matter. You are actually 3 people: the one you think you are, the one others think you are, and the One you really are. This is why I don't care who I cap against, and don't care what team I end up with.
But sure, I'll be happy to see you next week ZuoAn. I haven't played with you or your team mates in a long time. Last time I recall, we won though so it will be interesting.

I agree with the sentiments of PlayerSlayer, I wouldn't mind a China vs. Skilled match if we could get it organized and have enough skilled to put up a good fight. Perhaps the language barrier is the issue, but Zoan was literally crashing my lobby two days ago insisting on doing china vs. when we had 4 noobs in the lobby.

Today we played 2x china vs ICO and it was obvious games were stacked in lobby. We had 3 skilled who could compare to chinas players in skill and 2 medicore ico players.
Anyway He is a tard or at least he was in lobby afterwards

If you look at the replay, I am not in that game.
The one I vaguely remember I think had Azure star, Anhpp and another player (maybe Osan) vs me, slackah and Huymac or Jakemac, which our team ended up winning.
At first I thought you were challenging me and several other players like Auqia, Nayru etc in one of your previous posts. But it looks like you must be confusing me with Starplayer or Newplayer who your team defeated in that game.

Who do you consider not skilled in your team? D.angel and Gab? Gab supposedly is a smurf that is good. I see him getting picked first or 2nd in alot of skilled games. I do agree that in my opinion our team is better in skill comparatively if KP didn't drop. But having KP dropped like 30mins into game on 1st set, and 5mins on 2nd set, I'll say its pretty even.
And like i mentioned in my previous post, some of the China players belong to Tier 0 at least but I see alot of players refusing to accept it.
And furthermore , KP dropped in both games. In the 2nd game , KP dropped 5mins into the game which basically mean 4v5 in the 2nd set.

Yes Kp dropped in second game like 5 min into the game so it was 4v5 since we killed ai very soon and yet we were still struggling to beat them. In the end we were winning but that winning push ended up with higgy and Gabriel dropping.
I do not know Gabriels skill but while KP was in game he was squeezed to hw and fighting for his own roid.
As for D angels skill he is skilled but not skilled enough for a match chinas players. Watch reply if you have it.... He let higgy be doubled early on and yet he was doing nothing but sitting on that vulcan. He was also bombing same planet 3x to about 400 health when he pulled his cap out for no reason and let same planet regenerate.....

Well me and KP aren't at your level as well so it can be said pretty fair if you consider the other 3 players tier 1 level.
I haven't been impressed with Gabriel&Dresden the couple times I've played with him. He doesn't communicate, and quits early and often if he doesn't think the game is going his way. D.Angel is a nice guy but like myself I'd say not quite at the top china players level.
I think it's fair to say a lot of us have not been impressed with the quality of players lately.
Yes you are not but you both are better than d angel and /forgot his name/ the guy that was playing (versus dark blue I think you) He should lock you in and finish you off when he had that 10 ogrows and missile barrage. Instead he suicided everything. He also knew my marza was coming to help and yet he decided not to wait for it.....
Anyway it is water under the bridge.... Truth is You chinas are all very good players with few 2 in that game who can cope with any player on ico with exception of Auqia (He is class of his own).
I wont call which tier you are because for me it is not really that important. Heck I was considered skilled back in diplomacy and I only came on the list few months ago. And to give insult to the thing I am way too high where i should be therefore everyone wants to pick me firs in most PUG
Lol greg you crack me up man. I had him contained and down to his hw and I asked you what I needed to kill his sb. I built exactly what you called for and it didn't work lol. The fleet wasn't even expensive, it was cobalts and corvettes lol plus 10 orgovs. You said your marza was coming after that battle had happened so thats irrelevant. Also mb doesn't kill sb's lol, and by the time I had mb his sb was max upgraded. I also had him contained the whole game and killed his titan that he was fed. I also fed other teammates for titans lol. I also remember a point where you suicided your whole fleet. All in all that game losing had had nothing to do with what I did, sure I probably could have done better but I didn;t do bad so don't blame me. You can post the replay if you'd like, I don't have saves on or else I would. Also we would have won that game if higgy and dresden hadn't dropped, but they would have won if kp didn't. As for my play in the first game I could have stalemated loong star at the least if I had not got early civ labs and vulc tech+some other civ techs. If i had gone straight for the moon through the vulc and spammed more cobalts like he did I'd have been fine. But seeing as i didn't and he killed my hw I can take the fault for that, yeah I fucked up. But even then I relocated and feed you and efe a solid amount. Also I'm not going to blame anyone because there were a number of other factors why we lost, I just can;t stand your shit greg. Blaming other people everytime. Instead of bitching and complaing maybe in game you should tell others what would be a good course of action instead of trying to rip on them lol. As for players skill I am better than both Akaihane and KP. As for this list I'm better than almost all the players in tier 2. I can't say for some as I haven't played with them though. You asked me what kils lvl 2 hull upg sb and 10 ogrows does. What you failed to mention was support fleet of corvettes he had who absolutely rape ogrows.... but are easily destroyed by MB.
Yes I lost my fleet to help higgy by attacking Zuo after anhpp got his titan to my hw and I did not want to feed it and pulling him back to defend his factory planet and being trapped behind PJs....
As for your skill. There was same game china vs ICO a monh or so back with you and D angel in team. We lost 2 games and then I hosted 3rd one and replaced you 2 with "upgrades" and they lost 3rd one.
I am not blaming you or D angel. What I said is that teams were not even and you 2 were weakest link on our team. And I said it multiple times back in lobby before we started each of the games that teams are stacked and we will loose but I will still play it.
Reality is you are not bad but you are not on par with china players. Heck you lost your war in first game in like 15 min or so ....

I didn't have mb yet when I attacked, also I pinged and I assume people look when something is pinged. As for the 2 games a month ago, maybe you should fucking pay attention. Game 1 I was eco and fed fine and was fleeting to help the edge guy (higgy or hiroge) because they fucked up and lost their fleet. Also nayru and angel failed to play around wail since it was allowed and lost their fleets to it. Game 2 I was edge with one of the good chinese. I was stalemated with him while expanding, nothing wrong there. Also nayru and angel lost fleet to wail from not playing around it again. Also you didn't replace angel in the 3rd game, you kicked me for howler, who I can't say I'm better than or not as I haven't played with him in awhile. As for our 2 most recent games I'd say I was second most skilled on our team both times atm, sure some would be better if they played more often. As for the chinese team I am better than KP and aka, I'm sure they'd even agree. As for the others I haven't played with them enough to know. Also I'm not saying I'm great but I'm certainly better than most. I know you don't like me anyway because I bitch you out when you quit a lobby after it was pugged because you don't like teams, if you won't cap the pug than you have no right to be bitching about teams. there are plently of high level players that I play with all the time that know I'm way better than you make me out to be lmfao.

What I do know is this....there's where people are on the "list"....and then there's when they actually get picked while in skilled games...
I could discuss which people I've beaten and when I've been pugged....but no one gives a shit, including myself...once you are on ICO, no one gives a rat's ass what "tier" How says you are or what one person thinks of you...
Radio in his childishness bans me from all his games and complains to people about how bad I am and blah blah blah...still doesn't prevent me from finding 5s nor does it prevent me from getting picked in skilled games...it just isn't worth your time to try and impress every damn player on ICO or defend everything you do....enough players will respect you for your performance, no need to talk about it.....
Hell, if I had to explain to Jake why I'm not completely retarded, I'd be on ICO 24/7....
How did his best to make a nice list....some of the more vocal/needy people complained about where they are, maybe they got moved, maybe they didn't...in the end, it doesn't really affect the "community's" perception on a player's skill...
I also think Unity Mass should do chaining damage....

I have beaten every player on ICO except Auqia.
Does that mean I am better than them?
NO.
Auqia gives off huge fear factor imo. There was a game where i was on his team and he actually can eco freely while having an opponent thats not really noob and even X-wing helping after they finished doubled me. It was really funny how Auqia had 0% fleet upkeep all the way till he had like 10 planets and 0 starbase or any base defense for that matter. The person beside him was Mythrael , radioactive mentee and i'm sure he was mentoring him in the game as well. Mythrael just sits on his home and never attack Auqia the whole game until Auqia got his titan and start to fleet up and atk.
Auqia has sixth sense regarding which decision to make at what time. He can "feel" how game progress. And that makes him best.
