Wild Card Tier: I don’t know what goes on in these people’s heads, but they play on Sins enough to be on here. These guys have been playing for so long, you wonder why they don’t quite get it. Sometimes they’re good, sometimes they aren’t. Usually they’re always one trick ponies.
_|~Sire/KoK/King of Kodiaks/LiLZe/Kodiak_King - Tier #3 if he doesn't goof off.
kbroke - Tier #2 if he isn't on drugs or drunk, which is 99.9% of the time.
HuyMac - Tier #2 if he doesn't "Experiment".
Predator (WFU) - Tier #2, but lately he is just plain awful and I would rather pick a noob that know how to listen that to pick this guy.
And Candido's Team Player Edition
When these people are on my team, I feel a victory will soon be added to my statistics, regardless of who is on the other team: Auqia*, HowThe*, Ooloo* (quar)
We really should have a victory but sometimes things can go wrong, especially if one of the aforementioned players is on the opposing team: Krath, Tyr, Doci, DieHard* (greg), Efejao*, Hiroge, Mecha-Lenin, Multiz*
Superior contributors to the team: jbaum*, RedRuby(BlueSaphire)(GreenEmerald)*, Ekko-Tek*, Dumdeedum*, Fallen_One*, DeceptivePanda (StarKiller), Nayru*, Eros(Specter)*, Higgy, jamex, Traxsin, Slavinari, Faernel*, CarpetBomb*, BagsX*, BrainDead
Good solid contributors to the team: Aeonx*, BooPoo*, SerakWarriors, Camaro*, Archa-A*, JakeMac, kbroke*, Ginisfurd, maxy, USNC, gondie, unname, Seleuceia, Dwish, ColdFront(Universe)*, Mavarik, Knewgui, Teun-a-Roonius, KFear, BoomUrDead
Well, it's a teammate: rabidturnip*
I'm pleasantly surprised the MP community is still alive and kicking Got to play a game the other day, I must say I am in terrible shape, it shows. And I probably won't try to change that too hard, but it's always fun to have a game of sose.
Hahaha i can't believe i am still on the list! ( even tho i am at the bottom of MIA) That fact that this is being updated brings me a smile to my face. Also its nice to see friendly faces! Knowing that all old players i use to play with years ago are still conquering the galaxy. But what has really gotten my attention is information about a new sins going on stage! I haven't played Sins since the end of my freshmen year if 09 so guess by now i am horrible! hahaha Anyways i won't be making appearance till Rebellion comes towards the light. hope to see you all soon.
MP is surviving, but on life support.
Whats the average body count on MP now a days?
I think it's usually around 40-60 players online total at any one time during the peak hours.
The player counts are not pretty. It seems lower than ever now. Maybe it's because people started up school again.
The only reasons why I am not on ICO are because my new video card just doesn't want to work right with Sins, and I not very good in the first place. Sins is so under appreciated.
I think that the biggest problem the online community has right now, is that almost everyone wants to play 5v5; but there aren't enough players to have more then 1-2 games of that size running at the same time. Two factors that contribute to the slow but steady attrition of the sins community, is that regulars are likely to log out if they don't think there will be a game available for awhile; and new players, who would otherwise augment the community are likely to get kicked for said regulars. Essentially the lack of games is the main contributor to the lack of games, putting sins in a downward spiral.
I really don't get why so many people almost only want to play 5s. I would think that 1v1s or 2v2s would be pretty popular but I only see a few people who regularly seem to host them. The thing about smaller games is that your importance on the team is greatly increased - whether your team (or you) wins or not is much more dependent on how you play than it is in 5s. For me, at least, having significant control over the game's direction as a whole is an extremely positive factor. The results are significantly more correlated with a judgment of your skill than on how lucky the team picks were.
And people seem to care significantly about winning, obviously, and don't like it when idiots or bad players on their team drag them down. Yet so many people still want to play 5s where an individual has much less control over their side's direction as a whole.
I've heard a couple people say that one of the reasons some people don't often play smaller games is that they take longer due to choke points etc... but I've never noticed that myself. In my games, at least, often the game is decided before the hour mark and there's little point in continuing and the losing player surrenders, or is persuaded to.
Indeed, 5v5 is fun, but there are more ways to play than just 5v5.
There is another problem, I am pretty sure that the majority of players only play singleplayer. Again, singleplayer is great, but it shouldn't be the entire game.
I'm not on line so often is because I started to work again. I work mostly when there is SINS prime time.
Regarding smaller than 4v4 games.
I don't like to play them for the reason that in smaller matches smurfs play even bigger role in making teams uneven.
In 5v5 smurf can get doubled or If he is attacking or raping someone team can come to newbies aid by either feeding or with SB, fleet..... When 1 player is taken out there is bigger chance that team will win or at least put up a good fight than if playing 2s or 3s.
In 2s or 3s team that killed one guy will start calling remaining guys to quit and start new game...... So one team gets noob other gets smurf and if rest of players are of similar skill game will probably finish in 25 - 30 min.
With all variables in picking teams in 5s there is actually better chance that teams will be more evenly matched.
I prefer 5v5 because they are more interesting and you can still help your team win even if you personally got beaten. Sometimes you also get to play a game of economy sim city and have a little more freedom to do various things if you start out in the eco spot. There's also the challenge of figuring out how to help the team if you start out in the suicide spot. You also have the chance to do teamwork and to have 2v1 attacks and to defend against 2v1 attacks. The large team games are just much more interesting and dynamic.
In contrast, in a 1v1 or 2v2 the game is pretty much over as soon as someone loses a major battle. Generally, it doesn't take too long until the players know the outcome of a 1v1 or 2v2. They just aren't very interesting games, IMHO.
Hey guys! Star Player here from college. I hope to still play a few games now and then but I just want to give every one a fair warning that I am not at my normal skill level. I won't rate myself on a scale of 1-10 but whatever you think I was, i'm 2 less points on the scale now! Happy sinning!
star player
I havent played in about 6months, i wont be coming back anytime soon...wife hates this game with a passion because of how long the games are and plus we just moved i got stationed else where and it pretty crapy internet. I just come on every now and then and check the forums, good to see some old faces resurfacing!

Hah my girlfriend complains about this game as well, always asking if i'm playing "human players". Its gotten to the point that if she wants me to do something, she just writes it down and slides it onto my desk while i'm playing.
hi
Still waiting for someone to write something about me.
Write one for yourself imo
Elrosh, despite playing with you, I don't really have a description of how you play because I've been next to you. See if one of your clanmates can write a review.
Is BlackHawk still MIA?
Guys, don't you think one of the TEC pictures in diplomacy looks like SYMBAD THE SAILOR?
I love huymac's description LOL!
You should update this and add the more active/good players..
This is awesome.
Speaking of Huymac, I think kbroke's (yeah, they are like 2 sides of same coin of suckiness) review should be rewritten. It's far too positive. Recently kbroke has been acting up and IMO should be kicked on sight.
