Hi,
I had to remake my XP Profile, I copied everything from the old profile to the new profile. I edited REG to reflect correct profile path for all entries.
I uninstalled and reinstalled most recent SoundPackager via Impulse. When it runs it crashes and the MS information to send shows the following.
EventType : clr20r3 P1 : soundpackager.exe P2 : 1.0.0.0 P3 : 4924a280 P4 : mscorlib P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 4333ab80 P7 : 32f8P8 : 119 P9 : system.io.directorynotfound
I've hunted the Registry and the XML files in SoundPackager and they all point to the CORRECT directories.
Any help will be eagerly awaited...
Cheeers,

Don't worry - I fixed it myself. As an IT Consultant, I should be able to resolve these sorts of issues, hey?
This is how to fix it for all you others out there with XP SP3.
-Remove all soundpacks in YOUR PROFILE\Application Data\stardock\SoundPackager-Delete YOUR PROFILE\Application Data\Stardock\SoundPackager folder.-Run SoundPackager again, it will recreate your expanded contents from your downloaded packages.
Cheers,
WOOT! It works for me! After many reports and complete file remove/reg entries, and sound packages, I also tried to uninstall NOD32 completely and remove the stuff it leaves behind, like reg keys and drivers in system32\drivers, nothing. So the solution was the folder in \Roaming\Stardock\Soundpackager!
PS: I'm on Windows Vista, so the path is C:\Users\"PROFILENAME"\AppData\Roaming\Stardock, there i deleted the SoundPackager folder.
PS: The fastest way to get there is (in both XP and Vista): Start > run > %AppData%\Stardock\
Thanks a lot! Stardock should hire you for support!
Wow... finally found the solution after months of searching and trying everything else that others have reccommended.
You two need to publish this fix to all those looking for a solution to SP issues.
Great big thanks. It finally works again.
Greetings;
Thanx for helping me fix this hair puller. My thought for why it just started to crash each time I tried to run it, was because Impulse recently had an update which I installed. A day or so later after the update, I decided I wanted to play and change stuff. When I clicked on 'run', it would quickly appear and poof was gone in a flash. I didn't have time to check here to see if others have had this problem.
This collection of programs was one of my best choices to purchase because there are so many fun things one can do. It is rare when someone looks at my puter that I am not asked ; "how did you do dat". Most have purcchased soon after. The selling feature is when I show them the forum pertaining to each app and they read just a few from those that help others to solve hair pullers. The folks in the app forums are far nicer than those I have looked for help in other support forums.
May your day be better than your yesterday;
