Mod Features:
This mods main focus is about adding more celestial body types and extending the existing ones. Which means more size and effect variety, new bonuses and abilities. Also some new researches are included but only things that had to do with colonization or avoiding effects from planet/star abilities. Also this mod contains special scenarios some of them taking place in our own solar system.

Overiew of Celestial Body Types:
- Desert 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Ice 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Terran 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Volcanic 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- No Atmosphere 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- GasGiant 2 Sizes (Small, Big) and 2 variants (stable gas and unstable gas) also colonizable via new researches- Homeplanets (Terran, Desert, Ice, Volcanic, PirateBase)- Blackhole (from 7 Sins Mod with new fx)- Deep Space Sector- Nebula- all existing asteriods, stars etc. have now adjusted sizes and gravity wells.- White Pulsar (star with new ability)- Blue Magnetar (star with new ability)- 6 different Companion Stars (for multi systems)- 44 different Celestial Bodies of our Solar System. (14 with a unique texture, thanks to Cybdevil)- special scenario planets, like Consciousness of the UnityAddtional Changes:

Here are some ideas and things that will be included with future releases:- new bonuses and abilities for planets and stars- new planets and stars- New Maps and Updating my maps with events/story (if ever possible)...Known issues:- sometimes the corona effect of the companion stars are shown before you zoomed in or explored the star, The problem exists with all effects that attached to meshes via mesh points. (see the TEC starbase you will see the glow on the top before the body shows up, too)
vanilla Version issues:- only the custom scenarios appear in the map menu, to fix this: Sins treats the mod's Galaxy folder as the Galaxy folder, meaning it ignores the standard one if a mod has one. So the solution is to copy/paste every map you have in the Galaxy folder in your Sins install folder into the mod's Galaxy folder. Ok. Dude im freakin out here. why complicate it so much? Its as easy as 123
1. Copy the galaxyScenarioDef (Not the !GalaxyScenarioDef_Changes)
2. Paste the galaxyScenarioDef file into the galaxy forge 3 folder overwriting the orriginal one.
3. Copy icons to the icon folder and PLAY UR GAME!

As far as i know this works also with paintshop pro. But if you use Gimp i only know there is a way to open it with, but i dont know how.
PS:
If you mean "microsoft paint" it doesnt work with this programm.
It doesnt say if its microsoft. But it opens a jpg file.
You know this planet making thing would be a lot easyer if we could have a button to switch off the UV mapping and use spherical mapping like the gas giants. So what if the polar regions would be a little distorted.
I dont have photoshop i have photosnap.
So it might take a while. I started making terraformed Venus now. But i need a .jpg format planet. anny planet will do. i just need the shape. Then i can start. It wont be verry hard. i made a desert earth a while ago but it was only a map.
This mod sounds amazing! Unfortunatly I use sins 1.05 because it can run 7 Deadly Sins. Can anyone tell me how to convert the new planets to version 1.05?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The problem is the Pulsar ability works only since entrenchment 1.02, cause start cant deal damage before that patch.
But there is a non-entrenchment version of the mod for sins 1.15/1.16 right? What I need to know is how to convert them. Anyway thanks for trying.
So I am running the mod on Entrenchment 1.02 and the planet sizes aren't the larger sizes. Was that aspect of the sol mod that cybdevil did and was never incorperated into this version? or what could be going wrong?
Edit: The sizes don't seem to work on any map other then the demo maps.
Thats right I downgraded the 0.7 version of this mod for vanilla sins. I included into the subfolders of my mod a lot of "..._changes.txt" files, except for the entities. But the Excell sheet may a bit of help what I changed or included to them.
I am not 100% shure how the changes from sins 1.05 to 1.12 changed the modding behavior, cause I started the mod and playing sins with version 1.12 and entrenchment beta.
Hmm first I have to say that I resized all planets again, they have not the sizes that cybdevil gave them. So each planet in this mod (except the gasgiants and suns) comes in 4 sizes (x0.25 moons, x0.6 dwarfs, x1.0 normal and x1.3 huge, the factor is based on a original sins planet), as I descriped it in the Excellsheet. I tried the mod also with the random ingame galaxy creator and it worked.
I dont think the stars are different sizes. but i like it that way because if they where to big it woult take even longer to travet through their grav. well.
Oh and thanks for the earth texture. Im done Mimas now but it looks a little distorted at the crater. And at the area the poles meet the bar.
But im suspecting mimas will be something like half the size of a moon planet annyways.

As for my texturing, im going to make most of the moons. (Titania, Oberon, Mimas, Triton and more. I cant make mesh files so if you know how i can send you the textures when im done but you have to make the mesh files.
Also another idea. See if you can get the Solar Sins planets in there.
OMG.... your mod is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! thx a bunch for those cool scenarios. MAke the whole game much more realistc, ... and all those new stuff..... oh and the Earth and moon.... u took the real pictures!!

No problem. Except of Mimas most of the meshes you mentioned exists but have a default texture, and i have just to convert your jpgs back to dds and reference them in the meshfiles.
I think it is very hard to see them, only the moons and the much langer gasgiants, are resized that much that you can "see" the difference. But if you look into the mesh files you will see the different coords, also in the entity files you see the different movement radius. But indeed the difference of the sizes are not realistic and not that much as Cybdevil did it. It tried to get a balance between realism and gameplay.
Nacey from the "distant stars" mod team is adding the features of this mod to "distant stars". But it will take a while.

As I said in my blog, it will be a planet, that can be colonized. I think allowing them to construct around a star is impossible to mod, and also would take to much resources and time if you want it a bit realistic. So the sphere is an ancient construct, that exists when you start a map and you can discover and colonize it.
ok, i love this mod and as i tried to translate it in french, i had an issue. I found your string file and translate the part you added from english to french. Then, i took my french string from my game directory and copy paste my modifications at the end of my French.str file and then move this new file in the string folder of your CB mod.
And then, string not found ! Do you know what do i have wrong ?
edit : i found a few minutes after making that post : i didn't change the Num strings value ! Now, the mod string runs perfect. If someone is interested by the string file, i can send it to him by mail.
have you increased the count of strings in the first line of your french.str file? This is the error i make if I add new lines
