Mod Features:
This mods main focus is about adding more celestial body types and extending the existing ones. Which means more size and effect variety, new bonuses and abilities. Also some new researches are included but only things that had to do with colonization or avoiding effects from planet/star abilities. Also this mod contains special scenarios some of them taking place in our own solar system.

Overiew of Celestial Body Types:
- Desert 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Ice 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Terran 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- Volcanic 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- No Atmosphere 4 sizes (Moon, Dwarf, Normal and Huge)- GasGiant 2 Sizes (Small, Big) and 2 variants (stable gas and unstable gas) also colonizable via new researches- Homeplanets (Terran, Desert, Ice, Volcanic, PirateBase)- Blackhole (from 7 Sins Mod with new fx)- Deep Space Sector- Nebula- all existing asteriods, stars etc. have now adjusted sizes and gravity wells.- White Pulsar (star with new ability)- Blue Magnetar (star with new ability)- 6 different Companion Stars (for multi systems)- 44 different Celestial Bodies of our Solar System. (14 with a unique texture, thanks to Cybdevil)- special scenario planets, like Consciousness of the UnityAddtional Changes:

Here are some ideas and things that will be included with future releases:- new bonuses and abilities for planets and stars- new planets and stars- New Maps and Updating my maps with events/story (if ever possible)...Known issues:- sometimes the corona effect of the companion stars are shown before you zoomed in or explored the star, The problem exists with all effects that attached to meshes via mesh points. (see the TEC starbase you will see the glow on the top before the body shows up, too)
vanilla Version issues:- only the custom scenarios appear in the map menu, to fix this: Sins treats the mod's Galaxy folder as the Galaxy folder, meaning it ignores the standard one if a mod has one. So the solution is to copy/paste every map you have in the Galaxy folder in your Sins install folder into the mod's Galaxy folder. The only two planet textures I made are for Mercury and for the generic NoAtmosphere Planet.
And I think they look not so good as the others.

All new planets can be used in Galaxy Forge, you just have to put the galaxyDef file and the icons folder into your
GalaxyForge folder.
I just made no special icons for the sol system, but all generic icons are in there.
What happened? is the filefront link broken? i click on it, and it instantly takes me to the filefront home page. its not on the users filefront homepage either.
strange, the beta2.5 link still works,
but if I go to my filefront profile both files don't show up.
I don't know why this happends. Does filefront delete files without any warning?

Most changes are done right now and i am now testing and bugfixing.

Okay, like I asked earlier, any chance of a version for vanilla Sins? The whole inability-to-play-and-mod-vanilla thing has gone away with Entrenchment being installed to its own folder now.

I downloaded this mod and it looks awesom. I love the new scenarios and th elook and feel of it. I have a problem though, soon as I downloaded it and enabled it , it was only a few minutes before the game began to "minimize itself to the task bar. I thought that sounds weird.....sorta sounded like one of those pop up ads klik klik sound an then poof down to task bar. Ok that is strange. So I exited the game after it did that a couple times and started it back up.....np ran ok for bout 15 minutes and then started again. So I disabled the mod and started a game in Entrenchment, ok this part blows,,,,game minimized again to task bar.
Any ideas? Bad instal,,,somehow picked up a virus,,, something I am not thinkging of?... any ideas? Because everything worked before I installed the mod.

sounds like a virus/adware, might be a spy blocker, firewall, or virusscanner trying to get your attention...also might be the OS trying to get you to run an update
if you got steam running and are part of any groups that have an event or got invited to a new group that could do it too
probably alot of other possibilities
(for some reason if i exit the game normally i end up having a "process overload" type effect (closed process are unable to properly close and take up 50% of my cpu each...not just the game processes...but any process i close after i exit the game, i force a game crash to avoid this problem))
Spyware I believe..evidently one of my cousins kids has been allowed to "play" on my computer while I was not around to guard it from the lil crumb snatcher...never needed to pw protect it til now that it is too late :/
I think I have it removed, time will tell.

Now that i works again with the current entrenchment version i will downgrade it for vanilla.
I can't say when it's ready for release cause i got a lot of errors with the vanillaDev.exe right now.
I rechecked my release files with my anti vir program it found nothing.
Its never to late to pw protect your computer, and good to know you killed the virus!
For some reason I am getting a purple tint to all the planets and asteroids, instead of being red marz is purple and foggy looking. I have bloom disabled and the rest of the graphics settings maxed. Anyonelse have this problem?

I am not shure what you mean exactly. But I never noticed a purple fog on all planets.
Now you can download the mod also for Sins 1.15.

Here are two known issues that happen in the vanilla version:
- the main hud menu background is messed up since i used the same texture as for the entrenchment version
- only the custom scenarios appear in the map menu, but i haven't found out what the problem is.
I hope all non-entrenchment players enjoy this mod also.
I have a solution about the maps. Sins treats the mod's Galaxy folder as the Galaxy folder, meaning it ignores the standard one if a mod has one. So the solution is to copy/paste every map you have in the Galaxy folder in your Sins install folder into the mod's Galaxy folder.
but then wont you have 2 copies of all the maps on your harddrive? easier and more efficient to just delete the one in the mods folder :-/, unless i'm misunderstanding something
If both ways work, than everyone can choose which way is the best for himself.
I wrote down a note for the next vanilla release.
So its time to get the pulsar and the black hole to work in entrenchment.
I don't know if it is just me but when I down load this mod foer 1.15 I don't get the Icons that go into Galaxy Forge so that i can create my own maps
Sorry for that i forgot to include the galaxy forge icon folder in the zip file.
If you download the entrenchment version there is the folder included.
For the release i won't forget it !
So its time for an update again.
I finally got the pulsar and the blackhole to work under entrenchment. Version 0.8 is Entrenchment only, cause for the next version (which will be for vanilla too) I still have to change the buffs and abilities. As i want to make some new researches that reduce the effects from pulsars and blackholes. And so I just want to downgrade the stuff once.
Everyone who tried to work with researches and abilities may know this is the most difficult task in sins.

Annatar for his patient help and IC for getting the "DoDamage" instant action to work on stars with the next offical sins patch. I am looking forward to it, then also the pulsar star will work

The 0.7 vanilla version is compatible to 1.16. You just have to copy the maps into the new GalaxyForge folder.
For updating vanilla I have to wait until a new dev.exe is out, because the v1.15 dev exe is incompatible.

Great job on this mod! Having the Sol system planets that Cybdevil was working on was always the ultimate for me. I'm not savvy at moddeling, texturing, etc so I always appreciate the hardwork people like you do in addition to your graciousness in sharing.
Call me obsessed with details, but I find the mainview icons a detraction from a realistic experience. I keep LazySumos minimal mod on hand to unclutter galaxies in the mods I play. One thing that I have not figured out is how to change the rotation of the planets. Currently, they all rotate clockwise, meaning that the sun rises in the west and sets in the east for each planet. Any idea on where this can be changed or is it hardcoded? I've searched the threads and never encountered a solution, let alone, the question.
I want to help you keep your mod going. Though my skills are limited, I do understand the basics of changing and merging files and am willing to learn more.
