What I mean, (and Need) is to basicly resize a Frigate model ship to the size of a Capital ship.
I would also like to actualy modifid the model it self but till now I couldn't find a way to even open it up in my 3D modeler program (I have three of them; 3dWing, Rhinocero and XSI 6.01 mod tool).
If someone could help me with this I really would bee greatful... oh and I'm sorry if a post like this one was already made somewhere, but I could find it and I have search alot (actualy 3h, no kidding...)
Thanks i Advance for what ever help you my previde me with.
oops Sorry for my bad english...
Narik,
If you are using XSI, you will first need to use the ConvertXSI tool to turn the model into the TEXT format that XSI can read. Once that is done, XSI can then open up the model, and you can edit it to your heart's content. The other way to do this is to let me know what you need, and I will see if I can get them to you in OBJ format, which XSI can also read. I was also thinking about doing this, so I may just do it for you, depending on how many you want converted. Let me know which works for you.
DANMAN
I have download the ForgeTools1.1 and within it there's a folder name ReferenceData that have a Mesh folder. Is that the TEXT vesion of the mesh?
If so, I have try open it, by Import, but it didn't work (or I didn't do what I needed to do "noob in modeling"), what most I do.
And thanks for the offer about truning them into .obj, but I'm abit gready, And I'm not really sure wish one I would like to model on you see. So for not giving you trouble, I'll refuse. Thanks alot anyway
