Hi folks
This is a newbie post about the icons that are shown around a planet- the manual explains some of the symbols but I have seen atleast one symbol that it doesnt talk about(It looks like a crown I think, is that the symbol for your home world?). Could someone kindly post a link to what the icons mean, please?
Also, I saw some posts arguing about all lab/all factory strategies but I dont have a clue what they are or how to implement them. I tried searching the site but I couldnt find anything as to how/what exactly needs to be done for those strategies. So if someone could direct me to a link or just post a basic idea of these, I'd appreciate it very much.
That's normal during the colony rush, and normal for the duration of the game for some people. But as you become more used to everything, you'll get better enough that you probably won't need to every single turn.
Thank you for that info,sir. I am hoping I'll learn enough to not need tweaking the sliders/governers every turn, as you said.
Actually both are normal in this type of game - fiddling with sliders every turn, or hardly at all. I suppose in the end it's all in how you want to play the game.
Unless you are asking if you SHOULD be adjusting the sliders every turn. But even then it's up to how you want to play the game. I think it took many of us more than a few games before we got comfortable with how and how often we used the sliders.
Before any of us can give a more detailed reply to such a question, we'd need a lot of info, from your difficulty setting, game version, your map settings, and your objective in the game (i.e. how you want to "win"), etc.
