The Vetaron Confederacy didn't use a rift generator, persay, they instead activated a WMD which unintentionally opened a rift. President Mulikov had the WMD since the start of their war with the UGA and carries it upon his person, so we'd have to be careful in eliminating him, however we could still stop him. This would stop the Riftwalkers coming to our galaxy, yes.
Unless we can open the rift alternatively, no. My alternative to killing him in space is to jump directly into unspace and annihilate the entire Riftwalker Catalydom. This would require finding a stable rift with unspace that facilitates reverse travel. However, it would be a garanteed suicide mission as we've only faced a tiny fraction of their military power in real space, and they've probably learnt how to manipulate and exploit unspace fully by now, so they'd seal off our exit immediately.
The Hydrogues were always here, in the far north of the Milky Way. Up until their attack on the Vetaron Confederacy, they simply hadn't been noticed.
I think we've got bigger fish to fry, Morgan. Unless we stop Lord Avatar 진한 핸드 we'll simply repeat what happened and then go back where we started.

You know Sovereign? it's completely automated. no "data slots". you can talk to it, because its an AI (the REAL kind), but you can't control it. and it would easily block any attempts to hack its system, and then could counter-hack yours. That's the thing about AIs.
You can't control Sovereign, but he(?) can be convinced to help you. if it benefits him. but he takes out any who threaten him. including captain aggressive up there.

Mulikov is believed to have links to the Riftwalkers, so he's still likely to use it.
In that case we do need to be very delicate.
If we simply invade, he'll just set the WMD off, and we'll be back at square one again.
So, we need to invade (to make sure the technology that made this WMD is not reused again, as it is possible they have backup devices), but we should send secret agents to kill Mulikov in his sleep first.
And about Riftwalkers, the Faeros recently received an emergency broadcast from Andromeda. It was about a strange and massive fleet of alien ships that were scouring the Galaxy.
I myself went there, and guess who I saw? Yep, another Riftwalker fleet. Andromeda is getting invaded first. No one quite knows how it happened, but the fact is that it is happening.
It's likely to be a rift, just like our galaxy. The Riftwalkers have a rift in each of 4 galaxies, and they're keeping each in a time loop.
Orodum, you said that Soverign will help us if it beneficial to him. Do you think that he would consider not being defeated, ripped apart, melted down and made into a set of limited edition collectible spoons a benefit? Because, if he dosen't stop his attack, that is exactly what the Riftwalkers will do to him.
Mabey we should steal the WMD and give it to the Hydrogues. They can then set up a mini-rift that will only pull out the Lord Avatar, and then we can kill him. Of course, even a mini-rift would annihalate everyone within a few light years. So, I think we should detonate it inside the DN Voidspace. That way we can kill 3 birds with 1 stone: We can stop the Vetarons, kill the Lord Avatar and destroy the Dark Ninjas!

The Sultanate does not control Sovereign. The Sultanate does not even have any sway with Sovereign. It doesn't have a way to contact Sovereign. It would have, had it had the time to study the ship and to make contact with Sovereign, but El Loco above decided to prick the Dragon's tail. now the Dragon is pissed. and hungry.

That's the price for initiating hostilities against an unknown quantity. if you don't know how strong it is, it's not exactly wise to provoke it.
I was talking about Soverign getting to have his revenge on Darth. I was asking if Soverign would care if we brought Darth back after he had killed him. I can also understand why Darth attacked Soverign. He was afraid that Soverign would attack the southeastern worlds again.

I believe that Noobis "saw fit" to tell all the leaders everything, including the bit about the BMP. And yes, 400 is a reasonable number. After all, in the first part of the D&S show (when I was still fighting Darth) I had quintillions of clone bodies.
Now you have to figure out a way to reach an angry AI out for revenge, with a nigh unstoppable ship, and who doesn't care about anything but the Reapers. and is altogether non-responsive.
Sovereign arrives at the Ilidaran capitol (Earth, I would assume?), and begins bombing. He begins with the fleet in orbit, then nearby orbital defencesafter that, he then moves on to the primary governmental facilities. After atomizing them, he destroys all docked courier ships. Last, but not least, he destorys all missile launch pads inorbit and on the planet surface. Only now does he turn to leave.
