As Ruftwalker forces draw near the capital of the Ashi Sultanate, Maal, The fleets that had been previously held in reserve are unleashed.  The stealth fleets decimate the Riftwalker forces in the opening moments, their antimatter torpedoes and PCMLs ripping through ship after ship.  The PCMLs prove particularly effective, tearing through several ships at once.  They advance by cutting off sections of Riftwalker forces and annihilating them.  The X-303 Armored cruisers and the Halbringer destroyers act as decoys, luring in Riftwalker ships as the Stealth Armada flanks them.  This tactic proves quite effective as the Halbringer shields are powerful enough to form a near impenetrable barrier when combined and the X-303s' Puddle Jumpers sneak into enemy fleets and sabotage engines and weapons.  The size of Riftwalker forces halt the Armada halfway to Teratron.

On the southern front, the shiyard recently built at Eclipse has managed to turn out another Darksaber II assault ship, as well as several Halbringer destroyers and Athena stealth cruisers.  using the same tactic, the southern fleet  makes a considerable dent in Riftwalker advances, pushing them back to the next arm.

*Chancellor Noobis, in desparation, orders the full evacuation of Theroc, as well as asks armistence from the Catalydom. Being a repeat in what happened just years before, the Mwas, or Minister of war and security, being Johnson Shnizel, former chancellor of the UGA, suggested to poole the strongest of the UGA forces and send them to Moleath, in which they will try a last-ditch effort to push back the Riftwalker assult. A new Obsidian-class ship was produced, the Johnson, along with several Receeder-class flagships, and a new, massive Colony flagship that is larger than the Obsidian class - the Heger-class Colony Flagship. As the enemy fleet approaches, Ildiran scientists figure a way to get to Ryverrift and - if the technology actually works - close the rift for good: Wormhole technology.

almost three years of trial & error, technological advancement, and scouting, they found a wormhole that connects to a recent black hole made just outside the rift, about 15 light-years. after they have sent a probe in, they believe they can have an entire fleet "rift" between the two holes and assult Ryverrift. the problem is, the black hole is located within a small pocket of a highly volatile dust clout, 52 light-years from Theroc, within Riftwalker territory. Also, they're not sure if manned ships would be able to handle rifting between two wormholes. Some probes were just ripped apart or just dissapeared.*

I was asking because you I wasn't sure who you meant. I was thinking it might be the same person from the third Free City convention, but I wasn't sure because the Hydrogue leader at the third Free City convention was in fact female.

The inhabitants of New Tokyo initiate the plan that they have been working on since the fake "surrender". They steal information from a Riftwalker ship in drydock, send it to ACO forces, hide in a bunker, and nuke the planet clean of all Riftwalker ships and personell, while silmonaniously annihalating every ship in orbit with more nukes. The Riftwalker fleet focuses on New Tokyo, allowing the ACO a window of opportunity to attack the Rift.

besides, There's a special little surprise already on its way.  it's undetectable, though, so they don't know it's coming.  and, if you recall, the halbringer destroyers can take on several dreadnoughts at once and have the ammo for thousands, and are remote controlled.  drones are wonderful things.

and its called a "diversionary attack".   generally the diversionary forces are sacrificed to draw away enemy forces from elsewhere.

Ashi Sultanate and Syndicate forces push farther into Riftwalker territory, and the Riftwalkers increase their presence on the Sultanate/Syndicate border.

mm... harsh... so, ready for the final assault?

As the Last Alliance forces reach Ryverrift, they are engaged by a Riftwalker fleet of huge porportions.  They are outnumbered severely, but they push forward.  Despite their best efforts they are surrounded and stopped.  A cry for help on all known frequencies is transmitted.  They receive no reply. 

Their hopes dashed, the crews prepare to surrendur.  More ships appear on the tactical display nearly doubling the size of the non-ACO forces, and the comms crackle to life, "Now the gate has been unlatched, headstones pushed aside.  Corpses shift and offer room, a fate you must abide... ahahahaha....."  What little hope they had left is shattered, left in pieces in the depth of space. 

Aboard the Ascension, flagship of the fleet, the bridge is nearly destroyed.  An electrical panel explodes, showering the floor below it with sparks.  The captain rests his hand upon the arm of his chair, expecting to die as shields fail.  An unknown fighter begins transmitting, "Boom de yadda, boom de yadda, boom de yadda, boom de yadda."

The sensors officer reports, "Captain! The new contacts are destroying the enemy ships!"

"All batteries, redouble fire!  We will not go quietly into the night!  We will not vanish without a fight!  We will survive!  Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!"

A huge contact appears on the TAC display, and begins firing upon Riftwalker ships. 

"Get me a visual on that contact!"  The captain ordered.

The TACdisplay filled with the image of a dark colored ship, shaped seemingly like a terran squid, with a main body that curved upward near the back, and "tentacles" were moving about, aiming at ships and firing a laser that isntantly destroyed its target.  It accelerated through multiple ships, and they broke across its hull.  It stormed through the Riftwalker lines surrounding the beleagered ACO fleet, escorts of Halrbringer destroyers following.  Other ships seemed to be destroyed by nothing, indicating that Athenas were also among the escorts.

and so here we are again. history repeats itself....

...he...his ship fell into a black hole. No radio signatures, no tacheon pulses, the only thin that was transmitting anything was the damn black hle itself...we have no idea what happened to him.

If I die, there will be no leader to lead our people, and we may lose the UGA. Humanity, for the first time in ages, would have lost, and losing the game means one thing: extinction...

what is wrong, Human Noobis? The Hydrogue Grand Council demands that-

* Noobis, along with the crew of the Battleship UGAN Dengora and the ship herself, have rifted from the black hole they accidentaly fell in, and out into a new galaxy, entirely ran by the Hydrogue. This galaxy is where the Hydroluge originate from, and have faced the Riftwalkers before. Now, Noobis is trying to negotiate with the Hydrogue for assistance in the Great Rift wars...*

Why should the Hydrogue help you?

"Because you've helped us before. Because you do not the same thing that happened to you happen to us. And if you don't, those Riftwalkers will scour the universe to find the people who exiled them thousands of years before."

Hmmmm....this council may consider a treaty...what do you propose?

"You follow us to the black hole we hame out of, send your entire fleet in, and wipe out the rifties for good. We return the territory of the Hydrogue to you, and we will remain friendly towards you, and help you out in any further conflicts, as well as create a mutual trade agreement..."

"we reclaim all lost territories."

The council determines your plan...adequate. we accept.

The Lord Avatar didn't go through the portal. He instead activated the device he had been hiding since the start of the Rift Wars, causing time in the Milky Way to loop back to 3009, when the Milky Way was just a collection of warring factions. Everybody in the galaxy was mindscrubbed and now have no memory of the Rift Wars (except you, Noobsauce, as you were in the Hydrogue galaxy at the time). This is the ultimate plan of the Riftwalkers, and they will keep the Milky Way galaxy in a time loop forever.

In order to break the loop, Lord Avatar 진한 핸드 must be killed. He's not here yet, so we must wait another 50 years or so before he arrives with his armada. Alternatively, we can jump into Unspace and assassinate him, although this will be our only visit into Unspace since the Riftwalkers will seal off the specific entrance. Even if we succeed, it's not over, as the same loop is being implemented in multiple galaxies across the universe. To free each galaxy, the respective Lord Avatars must be killed and each rift sealed. Unless we can find a stable rift that facilitates multi-direction travel, we will not be able to defeat the Riftwalkers completely and will only be able to trap them in Unspace.

Seeing as the Riftwalkers failed to wipe my memory, I propose we do this:

1) Invade the Vetaron Confederacy so as to stop them from developing and building the rift generator; or

2) Create an ironclad peace treaty with them promising territory if necessary.

Three Lord Avatars and three galaxies trapped in loop. If you include ours, that makes four. I'd recommend sorting out our galaxy first and then helping the other three galaxies.

The Ashi Sultanate expands north and west, and expands to (not into) the UGA border to their south.  They immediately begin building X-303 Armored Cruisers, and begin researching plans for the Darksaber II.  They stumble across a mysterious dreadnought... (sound familiar?)
