In 3024, the Hydrogues, the Ashi Sultanate and the Tau'ri Nation formed the Northern Anti-Confederate Alliance (NACA) and agreed to grant each other their former territories at the end of the conflict. Soon after, the Starguard Palatine were admitted into NACA. In the same year, a systematic fake propoganda broadcast caused anarchy across much of the Vetaron Confederacy, soon leading to the reformation of the UGA. The deteriorating social state combined with the LOA and NACA advance forced Confederate forces onto the defensive, cancelling plans to launch an assault on Earth. Kyogre12, taking advantage of the chaos, pursued territorial interests further into Vetaron territory. In 3025, in the central territories of the Confederacy, the government had been stabilized through a combination of counter-propaganda and domestic oppression. A new political party, which would become the Stonefire regime, recalls all Confederate forces to Dastrophetes, the new Vetaron capital planet, in preperation for a massive counterattack against both LOA and NACA forces.

The callback of confederate forces allows the LOA and NACA to expand their borders greatley, encompassing almost all of the southern reaches of the galaxy amd significantly more positions in the north. All shipyards begin producing ships at maximum speed. On the newly recaptured New Tokyo, Samurye set foot on the soil and breathed the air. "This is what I have been fighting for" he thought. Then he began working on fortifying it into a batllebase.

BY 3028, NACA forces were in full retreat towards the key planets of Wyber and Teratron. Confederate forces advanced further into the north and west of the Kyogre Enclaves, preparing for a shock assault on Kyogre. Confederate forces drove further into LOA territories and began a sustained nuclear barrage of New Tokyo in preperation for a Confederate takeover. Ashi forces captured Maal in 3027 and, together with the rest of NACA, seized the remainder of the Confederate territories in the north-east. In 3028, UGA forces captured their former industrial zones in the south-east. Using the sheer power of the industrial facilities, LOA forces were able to drive Confederate armies back and relieve the siege of New Tokyo. UGA transported Faeros armies into a territory north of the UGA so that they could progress towards Greystar. LOA forces had isolated the south-eastern Confederacy territories and began a new campaign to subjugate the region by 3030.

In 3030, LOA forces mounted a successful offensive against the south-eastern Confederate territories, which ended in a decisive victory at Eclipse and the surrender of the remaining region. On the northern LOA front, the continued advance of UGA and Ildiran forces brought them into political conflict with the rapidly expanding Kyogre Enclaves. The Faeros Remnants continued their campaign towards Greystar, the last major Confederate base before Dastrophetes. Rejuvinated by supplies from the UGA, NACA forces were now making slow progress on their main front, preparing to support the Faeros Remnants during their advance towards Greystar.

Wow, I just went away for a few days and look at all this stuff ... you guys were really busy werent you ?

UGA (United Galactic allience, to answer some posts made before) is the government formed by humanity in 2450 following the Human Civil War, a war during which the opressive Earth empire was splintered off, and government renewed into multiple factions. Most of these factions decided to reform their old government in a sort of democratic republic while still keeping some sovereignty of their own territory, thus forming the United Galactic Allience.

also, Earth does have a number of shipyards but, being a core world, those were mainly used for civilian ships until 3020, when the Vetaron invaded UGA space.

By 3031, the Confederate forces on all fronts were in full retreat towards Dastrophetes. After a casualty-ridden campaign, joint LOA/NACA forces prepared for an all-out assault on Greystar. In 3032, as a last ditch effort, President Mulikov of the Vetaron Confederacy ordered a massive attack on the key industrial zones of the Kyogre Enclaves. Despite overwhelming victory, Confederate forces were eventually forced back by the LOA advance. In the major industrial zones of the central and eastern UGA, large numbers of LOA forces were gathering for the final assault on the massively-fortified Dastrophetes, which LOA believes could not be captured by existing LOA/NACA armies.

Despite significant losses, joint NACA/LOA forces successfully secured Greystar in 3033, which was then immediately granted to the Faeros Remnants. LOA and NACA forces followed up with successive victories against retreating Confederate forces, reducing Confederate controlled space significantly. The strike force assembled in UGA shipyards then moved to the LOA front, ready to capture Dastrophetes.

3035

In 3035, with the Vetaron Confederate on the brink of defeat, LOA and NACA forces presented terms of surrender to President Mulikov. President Mulikov quickly refused, and decided to return to Dastrophetes. It was there that the President activated a WMD stolen from the Kyogre Enclaves, causing the destruction of the entire north-western section of the galaxy and the catastophic spreading of nuclear fallout over the rest of the galaxy. Broadcast from Dastrophetes, his last words were:

As a result of the cataclysm, the entire military capacity of NACA/LOA forces was destroyed and 900 trillion people were killed. The remainder of NACA/LOA territories became afflicted by catastrophic nuclear fallout, causing the infection and/or death of ever more quadrillions of people. At a convene on Free City, one of the last planets still unaffected by the nuclear fallout, the leaders of the NACA and LOA members silently 'celebrated' their pyrrhic victory before retreating to a fallout bunker.

Yup. The gigantic displacement of the dark energy would end up pushing the stars and planets into new places, probably very quickly.

This is bad. The galaxy is De-stabilizing. Stars are shifting, and planets are falling out of orbit. we must put in efforts to re-stabilize our systems.

I have set up large anti-radiation barriers on a large number of largely populated planets, including Earth, Theroc, and Eclipse. We won, but at terrible losses. I feel as if this was a bit of a melancholy victory. Ahh, well. To freedom! The Liberty One Allience! And the prospect of never giving up hope...

P.S: Wouldn't an explosion that large to punch a huge hole in the entire galaxy create a shockwave that destroyes life on every planet in the galaxy?

yes, It'd take a ton of time, but it'd happen eventually.  and the star's gravity do affect each other.  otherwise there wouldn't be galaxies.  and shockwaves only travel through matter, not through space.  and an explosion of that size would take many, many millenia to reach the outer edges of it's blast radius.

this may have been what happened to the Vasari, now that I think about it.
