I've been screwing around on Steam for some time and realized there was a Tower Defense game on there. Yeah, yeah, I know, those are usually free on sites like Newgrounds or whatever.
Anyway, I bought it for $20.00 and fell in love. This is one of the most addicting games I've ever played in my life. Unfortunately, this one flew in under the radar a little bit. Since I write for a living I threw up a review on www.gamecarbon.com. It's a little vague I know but that site doesn't pay me lol.
What I would like to do is offer a couple of you on this forum a chance to win this great game. The creators gave me a few codes to help promote it. All you have to do is give me a good reason lol. I'll pick one or two winners from this forum sometime today!
It's only available through Steam at the moment so you will have to have that on your PC to play it!
Good Luck!
Does Steam have a way of entering coupon codes? I've never noticed it, but I'm not gonna pass up a chance to win a game. You should give it to me because I love sci-fi games and tower defense games. I also voted for your review (whatever that means... I just saw "Vote!" and clicked it). Oh, and I never win anything.
That's what's awesome about digital distribution platforms: they have such a variety of games you've never heard of. I mean, retail stores sell games too, but because of their limited space they usually only have the most popular, or the newest. DDPs like Steam and Impulse can (and do) have hundreds of games that you'd never find anywhere else.
You should gift me this game because im the second person to post in this thread, I have steam, and it looks like a cool game.
Give it to me. I want it. I always win, because I'm a winner.
You should gift me a key because im the fourth person to post in this thread, I have steam, it looks like a cool game, I'm a poor student and I love strategy games.
An interesting read, before i didn't know anything about it.
However with the current ration of Euro = Dollar i'm a little hesitant to buy from Steam.
What i missed in the review is the length of the game and how well the AI plays. Some very important things for a single player game....
the AI just tries to get from A to B and leave through C. There's not much AI there
The length of the game is long enough to keep you busy until you get bored, I have the game and I didn't get addicted to it
Alright! Two keys given out!
Thanks for playing lol.
Greets Loook!
I enjoyed your 10/10 review on gamecarbon. I'm sick of wasting my time on handdrawngames.com/desktoptd/ and would really love to get lost in this new graphics intensive SteamPowered version without having to dig through the coins under my car seat.
I'd love a key if you still had one.
Wish I could get into the SoaSE or GalCiv or even EVE. Though all neat and expansive, it's just too much investment for me... you know?
Thanks for the review -- even if you don't have keys left

If you had any keys left I would apreciate one.
looks like it could be an adictive game and i would love to have a go at it.
So if you have any keys left i would apreciate it if you could throw one my way.

I'm just waiting for the price to drop. $20 seems a bit out of place for a tower defense game, regardless of how awesome it is.
I'm curious . . . why are you here if you don't play GalCiv or Sins . . . ? Do you use the Stardock apps . . . ? Just curious.
Reading reviews of Defense Grid actually. Had tried SoaSE (love the idea and graphics of these expansive space sims/mmorpg) and thought to see what you had to write... stumbled upon your 'giveaway'...
Cheers.
Steam has the game on sale for $15 right now. Not to be a bummer about this game, but I'll wait for the $10 sale.
I'm out of keys now. If I win some more, I'll hook some of you up!
I put 30 hours into that game the past two weeks....that's more than I played Fallout 3 lol.
FYI: Steam now has a demo for Defense Grid that features a few tutorial levels and an advanced stage. It's really a lot of fun.
