Well, I finally got around to trying to rip this sucker from a Bink format to another that I could post on youtube. Sorry about teh sound but I could not get any sound. Bink is a pain and I hate it!!
Anyway I thought it interesting to see how Midway (later called Battlestations: Midway) started out and what they were shooting for in teh game. At least in Pacific it looks like we are getting cockpit view.
That reminds me of an old Commodore 64 game: "Power At Sea". You commanded a fleet with your mission being taking over four japanese bases. It had aircraft combat, and you occasionally had to destroy japanese ships with deck guns. I was hoping someone would make a game like that on modern systems, i should look this up.
