Well, Ive so exited about elemental and so depresed because of its launching date that i went hunting to similar games like elemental (turn-based strategy in a fantasy realm), I found Age of Wonders, and of course MoM, but I was wondering if there were other titles like this out there appart from those, but with civ managing not just character manaing, any suggestion? or comments about Age of Wonders or MoM?
I asked a similar question here
I've been having alot of fun with Fall from Heaven 2, so if you have Civ 4 I would go for it!
Try Dominions 3.
Try "cave wars". If you can get it to work without crashing then pat yourself on the back and have fun. (I don't think dos box can handle it yet, but I might be wrong)
Same here . If it wasn't for that mod and others, I'd probably stopped playing Civ4 quite a while ago. If you like Fall from Heaven 2, you have to try Fall Further, a FfH2 mod mod.
Not exactly this genre, but if you like TBS games then check out:

They have a finished TBS game with CCG elements called Armageddon Empires that is sweet! They're also working on a new TBS game due out a year from now. Trust me, if you like turn-based games at all, you'll like this game. There's a demo on the site.
I'm currently playing Age of Wonders : Shadow Magic (2004), version 1.4 : no way I'm going back to the primitive graphics of MoM.
AoW : SM is the best remake/update of MoM you can find. I hope that the designers of Elemental have had a look at it.
AoW : SM is a great example to illustrate that you don't need 3D graphics à la HM&M 5 to deliver an exquisite & challenging fantasy-strategy game.
I've played AoW:SM and liked it a lot. I also tried the mod 'Age of Glorantha' that was made for it. One of the few mods that make it play as a different game adding all sorts of new content.
PS: If any one is interested in playing 'Fall from Heaven 2' you need the Civ4 expansion pack 'Beyond the Sword' to play it.
Yes, Fall from Heaven 2 is a fantastic mod! For a more realistic feel to Civ4, you can't go past Rhye's and Fall (which also requires BtS).
EDIT: I notice no one has suggested Lords of Magic. I have had a LOT of fun with that game for years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lords_of_Magic
Thanks Im checking them out right now, with this its sure gonna be easy to keep myself from eating my own fingers waiting fro elemental.
