Well, it looks like Obama is winning pretty handedly thus far. I guess this means I will not be purchasing any future games for myself...they will all go to the less fortunate gamers out there. So, let me know what ya'll want because I'm buy'n.
I'll take a copy of CitiesXL when it releases.
Thanks.
Due to the wonderful response of this redistribution program (now called "no game left behind"), I will be dispatching game auditors to your locations to verify your gaming income. Should you qualify as a "fortunate gamer" you will be rewarded by including you as a patriotic gamer and will join me in the donation process. All games will be stored in a lock box for later distribution.
I to would like this, to bad Starcraft Ghost may never see the light of day.
Duke Nukem Forever, please.
typical, it has been over 24 hours and my games are not yet here... So now that this administration has failed to keep it's word it is time to go to the new bread and circus giver.
Prepare to be audited!
How bout a PS3 and LBP? Of course thats the only game I'll get but hey, it looks like fun!
AND WHERE ARE TEH SMILIES! THEIR MENU IS GONE!
Not to be a smart ass or anything and maybe I missed another thread somewhere, but what does Obama or the election have to do with purchasing games? Just wondering .
Edit: Oh yea! and a copy of Half Life 2: Episode 3, when it comes out
Not sure if you follow election politics but Obama has pledged a tax cut for 95% of Americans. The other 5% will get a tax increase which has been argued by many as redistribution of wealth. I am not going to get in the REAL world debate over that but I was just making a joke about this. Instead of redistribution of money, I offered a redistribution of games.
yea but so far the majority of past tax cuts have only been for the top 5% of America.
I actually dont forsee the lower 95% getting a tax break but if the top 5% go back to how it was originally supposed to be Ill be happy
ahh ok, I get it now . No I don't follow politics and ignore any "promises" that a politician makes .
Republicans - they like to keep the rich rich, and the poor poor. Obama isn't Republican.
I was wondering how long it would take for this thread to change into an actual political debate. Looks like that may be starting so I am hopeful everyone can chuckle a bit at my joke but please lets avoid the real political banter.
i dont think its always been republicans though they were responsible for the latest one. i just know for under 250,000 joint income its around 30-35% after that it goes to 20-25% with ways to get it down to 15%. not positive on the numbers but thats what ive heard so take these with a grain of salt
GCFL never mentioned a time frame, so no promises have been broken.
Indeed.
If GCFL can manage to get my Duke to me before the end of the century, I will consider the promise fulfilled.
I don't actually need new games. Now, if I could get a new card to replace my RADEON Sapphire 300SE, I'll burn stocks in honour of our new Trotskyist Overlords
Do I need to be an American to understand this one? I am thoroughly confused...or I have no sense of humour.
Your confused? Now you know how we Americans have felt for the last fifty years.
