I try to insert/upload an pics jpg 50x50 but after upload the image dosnt show, where is the problem ?

If I were to guess, I would guess that you have Flash 10 installed. Adobe decided to release an update to flash that broke some essential functionality of the uploader. We're patiently waiting on a fix that should arrive in the next few days. In the mean time, downgrade to the last version of Flash 9 and the buttons should work again.
Maybe you'd better align yourself on official Flah version other than on an applet done by someone else ...
neophil, that is a good example of a very nonconstructive comment. Please refrain from making those kinds of negative comments. It's not very nice and it really doesn't help the situation at all.
We are using a very well established component that is used by big names and big players on the internet such as Wordpress. Adobe does not have an official 'Flah' (assuming you mean Flash there) version of an upload component, or anything as such.

Andrew I like it that you keep working on this issue. Mind you I think it should have been fixed a long time ago because no matter how you turn it, something exceedingly basic does not function correctly and I for one have never had this problem; I fear it does not reside with me it is your app., and FireFox, that are giving the problems...while even in IE6 + 7 it does not work.
On my system, no mix of Flash & browsers that I have tried (half a dozen mixes so far at least) make this thing work. Now that much is factual, is it not? It is also factual I can upload avatars/images most anywhere I like (just fyi, this).
Your comment to neo seems extraordinarily harsh to me. He is one of the peeps who have been most useful in this thread. If you do not 'cut him some slack' when he gives thoughts to his misgivings you will end up looking like a person who is angry because he is unable to solve the problem at hand. I do not blame you for not solving the problem (yet; you very well still may) but I do blame you for that tone you just used. It is condescending and rude, in my personal view. Neo said nothing extreme.
I fault you not but if I expressed my own, rather exact, thoughts on this whole process it would not be pretty either. I just refrain, because I do try to remain constructive.
However I think you should be a bit more lenient here.That is a personal request...

Thanks for the Flash Player info, Andrew. I uninstalled my Flash Player 10 and installed 9.115 and it let me upload an avatar.
It took a while to find the older version though. In case anyone else is going through what I did, you can find it by googling old apps and going to the oldapps website. (Just to save some time and frustration).
I ended upon at wincustomize and it finally uploaded my avatar pictures there. Looks like it transferred over.

Ok I know this is an old post but I can't get my Avatar to show. I was finally able to get it to upload after hours of fighting with flash. But it still isn't showing on my post.
Edit: And now it decides to work. O well I really hate flash.

I'm also having problems setting up my avatar.
In IE, it appears to upload it (for about 2 seconds or so), but no image ever appears. In Firefox and Chrome, I just get a cryptic error message (Upload Error, Code: 200, Message: -600, followed by something saying the upload will be canceled and to please try again).
The image I'm trying to upload is less than 5kb in size and was converted to png from gif using Paint .NET. I have also tried a jpg version (also converted from gif via Paint .NET) with similar results.

The avatar upload issue has been resolved on the forums. If it still does not work for you, try logging out and logging back in, and try clearing your cookies (if you do not want to clear all cookies, simply clear all cookies related to this site, the forums, and stardock).
Please let me know if you encounter any further issues.
