First off, Vampire Lord skill descriptions! Vampire Lord was the only one in strings_db--the descriptions/names for the playable characters seem to be in their ability files in the heroes directory.
Bat Swarm I/II: The Vampire Lord transforms into a swarm of bats, teleporting him to a new location and damaging everything in his path.
Bite I/II/III: Bites a target and drains 250/400/550 health. The Bite reduces target Armor by 200/400/600 and Run Speed by 20/40/60% for 5 seconds.
Mass Charm I/II/III: Stuns enemies around the Vampire Lord for 3/6/9 seconds. Demigods are stunned for half duration.
Mist I/II/III: Vampire Lord transforms into a deadly mist, dealing 50/75/100 damage every second to nearby enemies. While in this form he will lose 6.5% health per second and is unable to move or use other abilities.
Poisoned Blood I/II: On death, the Vampire Lord drops a poisoned potion, dealing 500/1000 damage to whoever consumes it.
Conversion I/II/III: Grants a 35/55/75% chance to convert a grunt into a Vampire with base attack. All other damage has a 5/10/15% chance to convert.
Coven I/II/III: Increases vampire minion damage by 20/40/60% and health by 10/20/30%. Increases max number of allowed vampires by 2/4/4.
Vampiric Aura: Grants 10% life steal to nearby allies for a short duration.
Attribute boosts: +120 Health +0.24 Health/second 6% Attack Speed Increase +60 Armor +200 Energy +2.4 Energy/second +8 Weapon Damage
More fun stuff: achievement lists! According to the lua file, they'll eventually move to impulse, but are stored locally for convenience right now. Fine by me

Crap. That's a lot of stun, and stun's already insane. Other than that, I love the abilities. They're all awesome. The accomlishments are cool too.

QoT achievements: first four are exactly the same, except with QoT instead of Sedna/Oak.
Vampire Lord next.
Vampire Lord: same first four. Looks like his mechanics are very heavily stealing-based, based on these.

Next: Regulus--finally something familiar!

LOL poisoned potion is my favorite skill in the game.

But yeah.. stuns need work in this game. Many of them need to be changed to snares, or slow downs, or blinds.
Stun makes ti so someone can't run away, can't chase, can't attack, can't use defensive skills.Many skills should just snare, so they can still attack and use skills.Or cripple, so they move slow and can't use skills.Or blind, so they have a high chance to miss, but can still move around.
Stuns are too good. :/ Not saying there should be none.. just really few.
And ick i don't like that power leveler achievement "WAIT DONT END THE GAME. GIVE ME 30 MORE MINUTES SO I CAN REACH LEVEL 25 ON THIS DEMIGOD" Should be reach level 15 in a short number of minutes.
Regulus: same first four.

From AbilityDefinitions.lua:
Generals look to have limited control over minions: there are abilities for rally to general and attack area.
Finger of God, from the singleplayer achievements, is a superweapon. Description: Fire a beam of light from your castle onto a spot on the map. Built at your castle. Requires Tier 3 castle.
A unit that gives interest or gold when it kills. Maybe building. Maybe skill

I ought to note that I've been in lua/common for the last bunch of posts.
There is an ArmorTypes.lua, but everything seems to take 1.0 damage from everything. On the other hand, there's a commented section where other values exist.
BuffDefinitions.lua contains rez sickness, which seems to last at most 60 seconds. 90% speed, vastly increased cooldowns. Also there are definitions for all the things that make stuns stuns--immobilization, no targeting, no ability use.
LootDefinitions.lua has all the things demigods can drop.
PowerUpDefinitions.lua has powerups, as referenced in single player:
The items directory seems to contain a lists of items. I'm not going to go through them. In the Tournament directory there's a sample tournament schedule. Woo.
That seems to about cover stuff of possible interest in lua/common.

Looking over the rest of the lua stuff, I don't see anything else of immediate interest--as far as I can tell, the logic behind the stuff is very similar to Supreme Commander. I guess one thing of note is that Unclean Beast is in the characters folder with all his meshes and animations (although no abilities in the units/heroes folder).
Any supreme commander unit modders interested in trying to get him to display in the engine? >.>

Hearing of Finger of God though, gives me this image of a giant finger that you might see on something like Monty Python coming out of the sky and squishing an opposing Demigod.

I think the lua file I grabbed the Vampire Lord skills either a relic of a past build or a hint of a future one--the only skills it had were Vampire Lord skills. The skills for our three demigods are in files in their folder in units/.
From achievement file, there will be 8 maps at launch.
