Credit where it's due! "Blank of Borg" is a fun game. Well, I was typing a pm to 2 of 3 and Zubished. Only this time it made sense! (G-d help me....PLEASE! ).
I typed "Resistance is fertile."
So....how about a new game (it's Monday-oid today)?
"Resistance is ______".
Doc
And value their family jewels too much.... so stand behind the chair.
Seriously, anxiety is no laughing matter... I suffer with depression and thus anxiety issues at times, so I know only too well how horrible it can be. Fortunately, I have been prescribed a medication that works for me and I've not suffered an anxiety or panic attack in quite a while... and hopefully, not for a much longer while. So, knowing what it's like, I truly hope that you can overcome it and enjoy a more peaceful, happy life.
Oh, and get into Mr Bean, he's great for a giggle when you're feeling a bit low, etc.
Well that describes me to a tee... though I was a larrikin long before Steve Irwin was out of diapers. He made larrikinism popular because he was on TV... but, as my posts would suggest, I perfected it.
Ahhhh.....the difference being the deep caring that lurks below the larrikin exterior....sort of like a Sabra, don't you think?
Clearly I understand Tailsgirl's problem and there ARE treatments. Also, Tailsgirl might be really sedated into the Stone Age (which would cause real problems with posting on the Internet...Intervine? Interdrum?) and brought to a facility for treatment and returned home afterwards. I don't know HOW you would have to coordinate such a thing through your healthcare system, though.
Well, on to cheerier topics: How about Holocaust remembrance?
I am Dentist of Borg and I get to the Root Directory of the problem.
That's the great thing about being a larrikin... I can care if I like, and not give a stuff if anyone finds out about it.
In fact, it's the larrikin mischief maker in me that helps get me through the not so good times... when I'm feeling low I think of ways to get up to no good and pursue a trail of sass, then chuckle about it all the way.
The sad thing is that some people are unable to help themselves get out of the rut - and I know that feeling only too well as I've been there more than once - and it's these people I really feel for, thus offering a bit of cheer and happiness so some of it hopefully rubs off on them to brighten up their days.
Well I'll be your Dental Nurse of Borg and hold Tailsgirl's hand while you get into the directory to fix it.
Resistance is... having a brown paper bag and not blowing it up and bursting it behind a heart attack prone banker before he takes that huge 'self-awarded' bonus.
hehe to use Doc's words, why resist?
Resistance to that is.....paper thin.
I (personally) wouldn't... in fact, I'd have a second brown paper bag, just in case the first didn't work.
Then perhaps resistance should be in a polythene bag... and pull it over their heads to cut down on noise pollution.
Seriously, bankers really give me the shits. Despite the economic downturn and everyone else having to tighten their belts, the MacQuarie Bank here in Oz is throwing a several hundred thousand dollar Christmas party for upper level executives. GRRRRRRR!!
Hopefully resistance is... someone puts a fatal dose of triple concentrated curried cabbage gas in the airconditioning at the venue.
Me thinks starkers is obssesed with gas
I don't think so... I know I am. I mean, with a staple diet of curried cabbage, what else can I do, but obsess?
Resistance is... not having curried cabbage the night before my appointment with my bank manager.
hehe I make a decent dish with pasta, cabbage and bacon, that's good fuel
Now I'm hungry.. alas.. I must resist, for the cupboard is bare atm.. well for another hour
It's funny you say that... that's how we sometimes have the curried cabbage... as a side to pasta with minced beef, onion, bacon and cheese, with the regulars, garlic and oregano, etc. Hehe, you're right... it's like rocket fuel... and possibly just as flammable.
Resistance is... not whipping up a batch right now.
