The current plan is get beta 1 out near the end of the week.
What we are looking for is data on how well it performs on your machine, any incompatibilities you run into, any bugs you run into. We are not looking for game ideas at this point, that will come with beta 2. Obviously, feel free to post game ideas but beta 1 does not really resemble what the final game will be like in any major way.

What if we registered in a different e-mail?
Like my main account is on MY e-mail,
but my friend bought the game for me with HIS e-mail.
(And yes the game is "Mine" not his he just used his card)

My dad bought the game (I paid him for it) and used his e-mail,
but i have a stardock account in MY e-mail.
I´ve got the same question.
I´m not using the same email adress in every shop/account/etc.
I think the cd keys will be sent out by mail and we can just type in the key in impulse.

Both you and you're friend will have access to the beta
You'll probably have some difficulties and will need to manually register the keys, but you should be fine otherwise. I'm not sure about that, though. If they were declared gifts and the shipping email was done right (as in made the recipient's email) then you'll be fine. Which email got the confirmation email?
In Impulse, on the registrations tab, you can add a registration manually.
You then enter the email address used to purchase the game, and the serial number that is emailed to that address when the preorder is processed. It does not have to be the same email address as your primary Impulse account.
The game will now show up in Impulse.
Note that it is very important you keep track of the email address that purchased the game (if it's different from your Stardock.net account one). This is the address/account that the game will remain registered to.
If it was purchased as a gift, and not through the actual gift method (which would associate the product properly to the recipient), you can contact sales@stardock.com to get it sorted out.
Do you mean an Impulse account? I have an account in this here forums (with the same email I ordered the game with), but no Impulse account. I figure I should get an Impuse account as soon as possible?
Forums and Impulse use the same account system.
