Explain. I'm assuming that the Resurrection shrine letst them respawn faster or is it something cooler than that like haing some dead creeps come back to life? That'd be awesome.
I think it might be the crystal in the back of the base behind the stronghold, and behind where you spawn.
I'm not sure about that, because it's something you actively need to 'capture and keep' which implies to me that it's in more contested territory than the back of your base.
I wasn't clear, sorry about that. There's two options on the design table for decreasing ressurection time.

How does this work? If you own the flag then you get the bonus and not the other guy, or something different? Sorry, but the info on counter makes me think that something else is possible.
i think its like the newest WoW BG they have (forgot name) where u stand next to the tower and the flag moves towards ur team in a little bar and to keep it u gotta keep enemies away and stay there till its captured
Exactly it's countered by the enemy taking your shiny flag which make you come back to life faster.
How about taking the flag from your base onto the flag stand somewhere else to the map instead of standing around it and having a timer that goes down for capturing? Much more difficult and more of a target when the enemy sees you walking from your base with a flag. You're priority number one then.
And then it requires waiting for the flag to respawn, which means having to go back to base to get another one, which can screw up your farming. So it's riskier that way than just moving to a point and staying there i'd think. Though, riskier isnt' always good for gameplay, grnated.
But yeah how it is now, someone said if you're alone it takes about 1 minute of standing around a flag point to capture it.
Sounds good, I was more concentrating on the gameplay effects of capture than the actual mechanic of capture, but whatever. Is it going to be possible to make the bonus produced by the objective grow over time? That would make an interesting decision between defending the flags so you don't lose them and the bonus you've carefully gained over time and pressing that advantage, and give a reward to successful raiding.
