Here's my submission for the Blade Runners
Here is my submission for Team E (Eternal Villainy). I was hoping to have the chance to replay it for a better score, but my work schedule didn't allow me too.
Heres a backup game for absent members of Team D:

Didn thave much time to spend on this one, but I'll take the 2 base points.
Sentient species taste better...
rrmmm, I'm having problems with links too, and I cant edit the previous post.
edit: Finally the edit button appeared!
Nice game Ferrel! And a nice extra game as well KP.
Dangit, why am I always last minute??? (And when I say always, I don't just mean for the MVL, I mean always).
Anywho, the necessary info:
Character: Evil Buggers
Years:5
Difficulty: Crippling (I stepped it up from Painful!!! Woohoo!)
Political Victory

There was a definite hump to this game, starting from when the Torians saw me amassing a military and (wrongfully) assumed I was preparing to invade them (I wasn't, I was getting ready to invade those pushover Thalans). Things went back and forth between us for awhile, they declare war, I take one of their planets, trade it back to them for Peace, rinse, repeat. Since they were the biggest competition in this game, I was really worried I wouldn't get an alliance with them due to our back and forth fighting, but eventually they forgot about it and got friendly with us. The SCC was extremely helpful in raising my military might over that of the Thalans, and the Korx ended up having a change of heart and became a peaceful, good race. From that point on, it was basically hit the turn button over and over until I could get close relations (hence the 5 year win. I could've possibly won it earlier, but it would've required a risky war with the Torians, so I didn't take the chance.)
Edit: Why's the spacing so weird with my message?
well Round 10 ends in a few hours
@KP: note that we have a base of 6pts, not 8 this round
also, I would like the Team Captains, and KP to make sure they are paying attention the MVL Admin threads at the ToE this week as I will asking for discussion on how to proceed with te MVL.
Finally, JustinSane4 and Dystopic have been nominated and approved for the upcoming Vice Commissioner elections.
Guys, and Team E inparticular. If GC2 hasnt improved by the time the next round starts i will be out of the MVL. This site is shitty me and our ToE thread, the MVL and a little trolling is all that has kept me here. I can check the ToE thread once a week without any heart failure but i just cant stand these "updates". To me this site now looks like something a 4 yr old did in pre school with paint.
It's just all abit too tweeny for me....
Sorry guys...i love the MVL, but i doubt i'll be on GC2.com for much longer.....
Yeah, this version has some changes that just...don't make sense to me.
Light Orange on white? Not a good idea, gets really hard to read. The quotes? White on baby blue??? Really hard to read against a black background, the boxes don't look great either. Plus, I'm still trying to figure out why Ferrel's spacing looks so nice, whereas when I tried to do the same thing, it turned out crap...(I even copied it to Word, changed it to single spacing (thinking that maybe I'd accidently set it to 1.5 spacing in my message, and couldn't figure out a way to change it back, ctrl-1 just made the font really big), then copied it back. Turned out exactly the same.)
Not sure I'd give up the MVL for that, but different spokes for different folks. We could potentially even move the MVL completely to the ToE forums, but I don't really want to do that, since it would alienate us from the rest of the GalCiv2 community, preventing us from gaining new members to replace the ones that move on.
I guess I can see some logic to making it automatically 1.5 spacing, that logic being that you don't have to double-space to seperate paragraphs, but I'd much prefer having to double-space than have lists look so...bad.
Oh, and medals are missing (of course.) Not the first thing I notice when I'm on these forums, but they're still nice to see, and I know they're a big deal for lots of people.
Damn it! I forgot to submit my game which was finished long time ago!
Kryo was made aware of that in some other thread. Either it's been fixed now (will see once I post) or it will soon. He said that the quote box wasn't grabbing the color sceme for other forums.
*edit* Obviously been fixed. On another note, editing a post no longer takes you back to the beginning of the thread once your done!
