The advent cap ship Rapture has the ability domination that takes over ships of other races you could base assimilation off that. But you'll have to change the texture after to make it borg looking (no idea how).

Which one is going to be the colony cap ship anyways? A variation of the cube?

here's a question:

does any know if we can make the Borg a separate race...
not just replacing the Vasari or Advent?

I am replacing some TEC with Starfleet ships, rebalancing all races,
and it would be sweet to have a 4th race option: Borg.

why not keep the diamond cube powerful but keep it down to a max of 1 time as its really a flagship anyway like the enterprise E.

oh one other thing you caould make it the one that caps worlds as well for extra balance.

Ok, I have stayed away and looked on from afar for long enough.

Ok, just my two cents. The ability from HammerSun's mod works great, and I was thinking Borg all the way while I was playing it.

Secondly, making new races...is my specialty. If you want the Borg, or the Federation as a separate race, I can do that.
I was going to do it anyways once I merged Ezraeil's mod with mine.

Now, my main focus will be with 7 DEADLY SINS, but I would be glad to offer my services here too, and I am sure that my team wouldn't mind the challenge.

Let me know what you want to do.

hey dreaven,

Had to go out of town the last couple days so I didn't have time to work on any modding but I did do a borg tactical cube hull plating and all. no texture yet but I did finally get illumination to work finally with "photoshop elements 3.0".

I will post some views of the tactical if you like it you can have it.

I am making some stations but am unhappy with them so far but I will post some previews soon.

What about the idea of making it similar to some of the components from voyager when you see the unimatrix along side the transwarp hub. Just trying to throw out ideas to get juices flowin

a tactical cube is a borg cube with heavy armor skin unlick the cubes

I thought the tactical cube was the pinnacle of borg ships.

And i thought the regular cubes were like cruisers compared to the tactical cubes?

well a cube is a capital ship but the tactical cubes is much heavier armor and weapons there not very common tho probity cos there new ship i guess

Hey all,

Just wanted to touch base so you'd know I hadn't died or anything.

Not much to update yet. I have been testing and playing around with the Mod as it is now, trying to fix some issues.

That work you're doing on the meshes is excellent. Any idea when you'll have the texture for the Diamond completed? Or are you, like me, waiting for Ezraeil's texture tutorial?

As you have probably guessed, the point of this mod is to add the Borg to Sins. I have already done quite a bit of work on the mod, but now find myself in need of help from anyone who would like to contribute model and/or texture work.The Borg will be comprized of:Cubes, Spheres, Diamonds, and Assimilated versions of the ships of other races. There will be a Starfleet faction included in the Mod which will use the excellent ships created by Ezraeil. Some of what is still needed...A Tactical CubeBorg-style looking stations like ship factories, Military/Civic Stations, etc.Support ships such as Construction, Trade, etc.I also welcome any other great ideas for Borg that might be included in the ModBeta release is coming soon, here's a teaser screenshot:

Assimilated starships of all sorts would be great. This is how the borg should build a fleet actually. Once they have enough ships assimilated another cube can be built.....

the assimilated ships must turn into something a bit different though, twisted looking as they are upgraded
