Welcome all! The Galactic Senate will be our new meeting room to decide on metaverse matters! This means that this is it's sole function...for now. This may change. This is not a slander thread like the Galactic Council one. There is no tolerance for profanity and swearing. The leader of the senate will be voted upon once every 3 weeks! When the leader's term is up, he may be elected as many times as the voters want...unlimited! You may vote for yourself! If the leader of the Senate does something inappropriate on this thread, then he will be immediately ousted and his throat will be slit with a razor. Then we'll rip his heart out and "The Legions of Darkness" (The Raiders special forces) will feast on it! To be elected, one must have at least 12 the most votes! You may only vote for 1 person each ELECTION! All issues must be brought to attention by either a senator or overlord of an empire! A citizen may bring up an issue, but it will not be voted on until a senator or overlord formally proposes it. To be considered a senator or overlord, you must have at least one other person in your empire besides yourself and you must have senator status!That's all there is to say....now let's get started!AMENDMENTS:1. That's because the newer ones are usually not scary...just graphic.
Actually the newer ones are actually scary, most of them, like the Unborn and The Strangers, screw with your mind.
they have a gore and surprise kinda scare, not suspense like the old ones. the theme of horror has changed quiet a bit.
The newer horror movies for the most part rely on special effects and graphics that were not possible a generation ago, however the stories are lacking and susspence seems to be a lost art. A grotesquely deformed human in a movie will make your skin crawl but it doesn't make a good movie. In a few years no one will remember newer horror flicls but 30 years later we might still remember the Omen or the Exorcist, not to mention the Shinning.
I'm not sure if you've heard but there's going to be a remake of Child's Play . Unlike most of the remakes that are coming out now, there is a good reason for this remake to be released. The reason being because after relizing that too much comedic elements ruined Seed of Chucky, Don Mancini wanted to reboot the series in order to bring it back to it's roots.
Freddy vs Jason was the suck due to it not keeping it's overall feel. Very low drugs and bewbs in it. Now, this new Friday the 13th...yeah, feeling like it's the 80's all over again
I still place Event Horizon, The Shining and Exit to Eden near the top for my 'scary movie list'. That and ANYTHING that the 'bad guy' is an insect. That goes to the point of refusing to see Bee Movie even...beyond it's retardedness. Hebegeebies I hate bugs.

As for Them, ginormous bugs aren't too bad. It's moreso the small ones that freak me out. I'm looking at you SciFi and you're "Black Swarm" & "Deadly Swarm" movies....~cringes~
My back yard has too many (more than 0 is too many) flowers in it due to my wife. Heck, the friggin clove and dandylions are too much. Friggin bees all over the place during the spring/summer. No wonder I love winter soo much. I literally freak out and get shivvers over seeing a bee around me.
My wife is afraid of zombies. She's never seen a 'fast zombie' movie to even begin to give good reason. All her zombies have been the feet shufflers. WHY be afraid of something you can run circles around doing a crab-walk? And heck, they aren't even REAL....bees are REAL!!!!

Well let's see, the galaxy is ful of minor races and yes they are people too so yes if I get elected I'll let them in the senate.
